I was only allowed to book the u haul for 6 hrs . from 9am until 3pm . I still had to pay a full days fee for it . 6 hours to load the contents of a house drive to a new location then unload again is unacceptable .

Great customer service. Vlad and Nancy were easy to deal with. Truck clean and worked as expected. Disappointed that 26’ truck that I needed was not avail as truck and trailer was cumbersome logistically and to load. Picking up the trailer was a poor experience. After hours pick up. Trailer was not blocked so getting it hooked up was very difficult due to weight of unit. Had to find wood and create a lever. Dangerous and time consuming. Returned at the Gray Avé location in Saskatoon, SK Aug 20. Spoke to him about concerns as he was leaving the trailer in the same unblocked state. He said it was UHaul’s responsibility. I said it shouldn’t be mine. I am a single Mom of two, 5’7  and 160 lbs. This should never be the experience on either end re: the trailer. Hope this helps someone else.

When I order a 5x8 trailer, I want a 5x8 trailer. This is the second time this has happened. Being given a 6x12 for no additional cost was nice, but we moved my daughter from Brandon, mb to London, On. The extra size meant more gas, harder on my car’s transmission, and harder to park.

The person who signed me in was cold and unhelpful. (How do you not have a furniture dolly??) When I called to let them know that I wouldn’t need the car dolly, the man who answered the phone was rude and condescending. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Ordered a 20 foot truck from south end service. Only to find out they aren’t even in the uhaul business. Then went in person to ABC Auto Service, 1510 18th St N, Brandon, MB and the girl told us yes there will be a 20 foot truck for us 9 am. Got an email the next day saying we don’t have any 20 foot trucks but we have 26 footer. So we took the 26 footer. Then could days before we wanted the truck then called and said they only have a 15 foot truck and they won’t be till 12 pm. So we called advantage on Thursday and they said possibly have a 20 foot truck coming back Friday and to call and confirm. We got a 20 foot truck from advantage trailers and cancelled from abc. ABC is very disorganized and promised a truck which we would of never received. What if we needed that big truck (we did). Don’t book out stuff you don’t have and screw over people that are moving. Very poor service at abc. Not pleased with them at all. Advantage did a great job for us though.

They didn’t have the truck I booked available so they gave me a small truck and trailer. 50$ credit which apparently just made it that the trailer was free witch is ridiculous considering I didn’t want a trailer in the first place the discount should have been on everything else the trailer should have just been free. Or they should have just had the truck I requested available. They said the gas was full when we got the truck and it wasn’t so it wasn’t returned full either and I was charged for gas

Took 2 hours to get the truck I didn't order at the wrong location. We had to switch vehicles cause the brakes on the first truck were toast. I ordered a 15 foot truck and was stuck with a 10 ft and a 4x6 trialed that didn't fit all my stuff. Had to find another means of transporting the rest of stuff. I preordered the truck well in advance as well and was charged additional for having insurance for the trailer I didn't order. When I called to talk to uhaul to try and find the truck that was at the wrong location, they hung up on me. This was a terrible experience. Was notified half a day before about the switch in truck and they didn't tell me that they moved pick up location.. . Additional to all this the truck was at the drop off the night before drop off and they charged me additional days. Uhaul did not deliver and made my move a complete hassle.

I had ordered a 20' truck and it got confirmed. The day I was to pick it up, I got a email saying that my 10' van was ready for me. I would suggest not sending a confirmation email if you don't have the length ordered.

The location was great but I have a real problem with uhauls business practices overall. I will never use them again. I used uhaul twice in a month. The rates changed drastically from two weeks prior. Also, starting the gas tank off 1/4 if a tank is absurd. Then if you fill the tank and don’t use all the gas back down to 1/4, they don’t reimburse you. But if you leave the tank even a hair under where it should be, you pay all kinds of service fees and way more for gas than it would’ve been. Terrible

I tried to connect via telephone and chat to uhaul.com to ask about my drop off location. Chat timed out with no response and I was on hold on the telephone for about 20 minutes before I gave up. I was calling in regard to the drop off location. A representative had called me a day earlier about possible changes and was going to email me where I was to drop the truck, but no email came. I eventually called and chose "new customer " option so that I could talk to a person about my existing rental. Truck worked well but having no cruise control sucked. The tow/haul light was confusing, didn't know if it was supposed to be on or off. Very good customer service to rent the truck, very poor customer service during the rental.

Trailer worked fine. HOWEVER, following the process of on-line reserving, the rental process was a DISASTER! Absolutely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! On HOLD for over 90 minutes, because I didn't want to lose my spot in the queue...then was cut off anyway. The trailer was available for pickup when I originally reserved, but UHaul texted me that the nearest one was 90 miles away.!PLUS they had NO idea when one would be arriving in my area. I was promised the $50 adjustment, but as of writing this comment, have NOT received it. AND when speaking to UHaul at 204-987-9510, I asked for a SUPERVISOR prior to returning trailer....and of course SUPERVISOR was not available! My opinion? If you have an alternate choice, use it !! I will be speaking with UHaul regarding this entire rental process.

Uhaul was unable/unwilling to bring the truck/trailer to my actual town’s location (even though there is a uhaul location in town), so I had to drive one hour to pick up the truck, then an hour back home, all of which made the mileage go over which I had to pay for.

Next time, include a spare tire for the trailer. I never received one and was told to call a number to get one. At one point on my trip, I had no service to make that call. The spare should come included.

The service from this location was great, however, after making my reservation 1 month in advance I was phoned on the friday prior to my rental to be told that there was no truck available for my rental. Obviously this was unacceptable so the customer service rep told me he was going to phone around and try to find me a truck. While he was doing this, I also phoned around to find a solution. The rep phoned me back to tell me that he couldn't find anything. I informed him that I found a truck at a different location but I needed to return it to Brandon (it was reserved to be a one-way initially). I told him I would be okay with this if all of my EXTRA km's were compensated for and I wanted the $50 reservation guarantee. He told me that I could not have the $50 along with the km compensation because that was "more than enough". I should not have accepted that as I now had to pay for gas to drive the truck back when it was supposed to be a one-way in the first place. So in the end this rental ended up costing me $50 more and it was UHAUL'S fault. I can't believe the service I received from one of the largest rental truck companies. They should have went the extra mile to ensure I was receiving the exact same price I planned for in the first place. When someone makes a reservation a month in advance you guys should have everything figured out prior to the weekend your customer is moving. Extremely disappointed in your "service". The rep's name was Kevin.

I rented a uhaul to move within the city. I prebooked it to be ready for 8:00, I had people waiting at my house ready to help me move. There was 4-5 guys standing around talking about how cold it was out. We signed the uhaul agreement, which made no sense because the guy took a copy of my drivers license and it wasn’t even going to be me driving, it was my dad. I asked if they should see my dads and he said “no, that’s fine.” I know he has a drivers license but how do they know he does. They are just allowing anyone to drive a vehicle without proof of a license!!! The truck was frozen solid, we wasted 45 minutes in the yard letting it warm up, it would have been nice if someone started it since we had it booked for 8 am. There was no ice scrapper in it so it was good we brought our own. 2 tires were low and the guy kept saying it was from the cold and didn’t want to come outside to see but it was more than from the cold. He had to add quite a bit of air in the tires. I understand that things happen when it’s -30 but when you rent a uhaul or any vehicle for a certain time you expect that it will be ready to jump in and go. I was glad we chose to get a uhaul vehicle to move instead of loading multiple vehicles and making numerous trips. Everything was done in one trip which made things go fairly quickly. I will likely rent a uhaul again but I will not deal with Advantage Auto & Trailer Sales. They really need to work on their customer service.
