Keep your reservations, the trailer I booked 3 weeks in advance was "unavailable" when I arrived and I had to make other arrangements to accommodate, even though I saw more than one of the same style trailers leave the site while I was waiting in line. Ensure you have stock of the items that are purchased online and promised in store. The mattress bag that was purchased was not in stock when I arrived and I had to purchase a more expensive bag. I was not able to use the money I paid for the original mattress bag towards the more expensive version that was in stock at the time of pickup. I was promised store credit equal to the cost difference to be used towards the cost of the trailer rental which was not provided to me. A ~$7 mattress cover quickly became $30. I also returned the trailer at 7:30pm (within store working hours) the same day, even before the time I had scheduled to make the return, and was charged for returning the trailer the next morning. This was the worst rental experience I have had yet, I will not be using Uhaul in the future.James S.

Worst customer service I have experienced in my life. Firstly on the day of a month end, this uhaul only booked one star to attend to customers. That should not happen, uhaul already knows That the end of the month is usually the busiest time. Secondly, after waiting in line for almost 2 hours. I the cashier tells me my truck is a different location but the traudOlabosipo B.
Under staffed, unnecessarily long wait times, lack of managerial presence with no real leadership, staff on hand does what they can but are visibly overwhelmed and overall experience leaves customer frustration. Customer should not feel lost or feel they must go above and beyond to help make things work, more staff needed. Also, what is point of online check in when you still have to go inside and complete transaction, which with me, took over 30 mins of being inside and subjecting me to covid more so because location was under staffed. I had completed all the paper work online but when I got to the location on April 30 there was a huge line. Waited an hour to get to the counter for all of 3 minutes to get the keys. Allow customers picking up trailers to completely register online with credit card and not have to wait in line to pick up. We ordered an enclosed trailer but received an open trailer. Waiting for customer service by phone is at least a half hour wait every time you call. Nobody really cares when there's a mixup, they just continue with your registration. The return was quick and simple, although we would have preferred to leave it in Kingston, which was where the move was instead of hauling an empty trailer home.Randall Z.
First of all, make sure u rent thr equipment to the person u rented it .. not a random person and then u say oh we make mistake .. left me standing at uhaul with no 26' truck which i rented .. no 20' truck .. no 15' truck .. they offered me a cargo van at no discount .. so very bullshit experience from my side .. took them hour and half to locate another truck for me .. dont understand why the employees dont check id before issuing a truck to someone .. anyone can walk in and claim their friend booked it and ur agents just hand over keys .. they fuckd up my order and my entire moving experience . I reserved a 15 f truck , two days before my moving I received a call that the truck needs maintenance and you only have the 10 f available at a different location more far from me and was offered 20 cents less /km. I had to drive a longer distance from and to your location and two trips to complete my moving. For only 20 cents less per km, my cost increased a lot due to the change from your side, I paid for that!! With only two days before my moving, I had no choice but to accept your higher charges. When I got assigned my 9 ft van, they told me it would be parked right out front. I checked nothing was there I asked a another rep and he also was unsure. After walking around the whole building I located my vehicle at the very back.
