The entire process can be improved. I am a single female renting a truck so I was ignored. Not ask if I wanted anything else. like a dolly, which I ended up not getting. None of the add on rates were explained, I was over charged, ect.

It took multiple tries in the computer system for my rental to be completed. It was pouring rain so the agent did not go out & check the vehicle before we left. Once I was already on the road, I realized the air conditioning was not working properly. It was only blowing hot air. I had to drive over 200 miles with no air conditioning. I returned the vehicle one day early as well. This was a huge inconvenience. Please contact me regarding this issue.

Associate does not help with trailer hook up or checking lights. With a 6x12 trailer, one person cannot do the trailer hook up.

I had a small problem - I was originally given the wrong truck. I got a call about 5 minutes after I left to return the truck I was originally given. Not a big problem. Overall service was good.

Did pick up by phone. Got the truck it was dirty, and had a coolent light on. Also the ramp was broken and just laid in the truck. However the guy in the shop was excellent.

I was given a dead uhual they jumped it and said to keep it running for 45 minutes to make sure the battery charges and i did that and i parked it turned it off and it would not turn back on, i called the rental place back and they said they cant do anything about it and that i had to uhual and they will take care of it i was very upset with this. I had not even done anything besides drive it from the rentel. Im not sure if i will use uhaul again. It wasted 3 hours of my time and they didn't do anything for the time wasted.

A walk around of the truck, and check list of any prior damages, or how much gas was in the tank, was not gone over with me. The time the truck was supposed to be dropped off at the destination location, the next morning, was not stated. The gas refuelling was explained to be part of the 69¢ per mile charge.

If the website says certain equipment is available, make sure the equipment is actually at the location and available. I was forced to purchase a dolly at a nearby hardware store since the location did not have any at all. Instead of the dozen furniture pads I requested, I received six. They appropriately only charged me for the six instead of the full dozen, but that still left me with only half of the pads I needed for the job. When I tried to contact the rental location to let them know I would be 5 minutes late on my return time due to traffic, they did not answer the phone. Both times I called, well before closing time, and no answer. The after-hours key drop box is a great idea, but is useless if there isn't enough signal to use the website or app to "check your location." After 30 minutes of standing in the cold rain, wandering around a parking lot trying to get enough signal to "check in," I ended up calling Uhaul customer service to get anything done. The customer service rep was very helpful, and is the only reason I'm not still wandering around the Uhaul location parking lot, searching for signal.

My original order for pick up at a different location was placed December 10th with a scheduled pick up date of December 17th. I called UHAUL on December 16th after I received no calls all week to learn that my order had been cancelled with not notification. I then learned I had to pick up at a different location. When I arrived at the 2nd location at 8:15am on December 16th, they had one person at the counter. My truck was NOT ready. No furniture pads or a dolly were on it as I had requested and paid for. They finally found everything and then didn't even put it on the truck for me. Put it all on the floor in the lobby of the ship and I had to carty/wheel it all around myself. I didn't even leave the place until 5 till 9a.I have used UHAUL many times and this was the WORST experience I've ever had. I move frequently, but I will not use UHAUL again.
