Was sent for pickup at 200 Roebuck Plaza Birmingham Al that had closed down. Had to go to Center Point Location There was no notification that they were closed. Need to fix that.

Need more then one person working . The guy working had about six people waiting he was running trying to get to everybody 2 people left and one customer talked to the guy like he was a piece of shit.I felt sorry for him but got good service when it was my turn .

I arrived at 9am as scheduled and the re were problems with the computer system delaying my move . It took an hour to pick up keys despite my online express check in. The truck rented to us ran poorly though a brand new truck sat in the lot. I was called the next day by this location looking for the truck. It was sitting in their lot as agreed upon. since their drop box was full we put the key in their other box. No offer of compensation was offered despite all the inconvenience.

I reserved a 4 x 8 trailer. When I arrived I was told that my reserved one just was pulled off the lot. In this situation I expected an upgrade at no additional cost. I was offered an upgrade at an additional cost. I had no alternative at this point but to take it and pay the extra. I felt like it may have been planned from the beginning.

This ocation was not the problem. My problem with Uhaul was the poor service (call center I guess) that was supposed to (and did) because I got confirmation) put me at a location 5 minutes away. however, you managed to changed my location to 2 different locations other than the one I asked for. the 2nd location (Tarrant) was not even opened that day. How do you set someone up for a pickup with a place that's not even open? Now granted this was also 10 miles further out than the place I requested. Next, since that 2nd location was closed, you then sent me to another location (Center Point) was another 10 miles away to pick up. After all this, I then had to go out of town that morning so dropping the equipment off at the initial location in Fultondale would have been good, but I called to see if I could do that and your representative told me no and that I had to drop it off at the location I picked it up from. Didn't matter that I never requested to pick up from there in the first place and that this entire joke was not my fault. It was Uhaul's fault. You never even offered to give me a discount for my troubles (which I did ask but was told no). I have rented with Uhaul several times before, but that may have been my last.........

1) Train employees in customer relations and job etiquette. Employee inside store said someone would be with us and left us waiting for 10 min before he took out his ear buds, stopped the activity he was doing, and came around to assist 2) Wait time even after using the online express check-in and putting in a PO# was 15-min and another 15 to get serviced. I was first customer when I arrived and two others were taken care of and departed before me. I was late getting to work. 3) Be clear about using a credit card to reserve and state if a hold will be placed on the card. I was told it was just to hold the rental but even after putting the PO# in during online express checkout and giving the employee my PO# paperwork, they billed the rental on my personal credit card. This is the 2nd time I've had an issue at this location (one October 1, 2015 that was never resolved). I am highly disappointed with this location.

Make sure the truck is clean before giving it to another customer. My experience the truck was not clean when I pick it up and I was charged for not cleaning the truck.

Employees loaded my car onto the tow dolly...I thought "well that's nice". Then I literally stopped every 60 miles on a 900 mile trip because my car literally kept falling off of the ramp. Felt very unsafe. Was given no direction prior to taking off.

I was only dropping off my rental, but Mr. William Porter was excellent and gave exceptional customer service! He was the only one working tonight and he made sure to assist all of the customers there in a timely manner, while maintaining a contagiously positive attitude!

As far as I'm concerned, that U-Haul location should be closed down or replace the management. My experience was horrible. When I made the reservation I was told different things from when I came to pick up. And even before my pick up date, I tried many times to call the location for some information concerning my reservation, nobody answered the phone. And this happened more than six times on different days. Also, I received a text message and an email a few days after my reservation transferring my reservation to a location 14 miles away from me whereas the Center Point location was just about 3 miles away from me. After I received this senseless transfer, I tried many many times to call the Center Point location to correct it but nobody picked up so I had to physical go there for the correction. Also, 2 instances when I went there I was attended to by some staff who said they were new but by themselves. In fact one of them told me that was his first day and he was by himself calling the location manager on the phone all the time for assistance and as result kept so many people including me waiting endlessly and we all became disgruntled. What a horrible experience I had and I'm glad I could relate it now. Thanks

Trail was 1 hour past the reserved pick up time. Employee was only gonna give a $25 discount. The hooks on the trailer would not lift to hook to. Overall service could have been better.

Have a budget big enough to hire more person's for the beginning shift on Saturday the wait when there is only one person is ridiculous. Or better yet have a return line and pick up line for the weekends to expedite quicker turnarounds.

The store opens at 7am on Friday. We had a confirmation to pick up at 7:30am. We arrived at 7:25am to find the store dark and closed up with no one working. The posted “store hours” on the window also says opens 7am on Fridays and I have a picture of that. The clerk did not arrive until after 7:45am and had to open the store, turn on the lights, turn on the computer, and stumble around as he attempted to help us and another customer who had arrived to a closed, dark store for their pick up as well. He was very unprofessional by saying “sorry, I came in from talladega and had to catch a ride.” We came from Lincoln and Hoover and were there with time to spare. This wasn’t the location closest to our destination as it was swapped for the “early check in” online process because of available truck sizes. This is the third and final time I have trouble with a uhaul pick up as the last 3 times have been poor to say the least. Only way to improve the process for the next customer is to hire reliable employees. Ridiculous.
