This was the WORST experience! I paid almost $300 for this and was VERY unhappy! Over all I was sent to 6 locations. Was suppose to have a truck Friday but never got one until Saturday evening which made it where I had no help moving so I had to move everything myself which caused me to miss work. I will NEVER use UHaul again and will make sure none of my family and friends do as well! I highly recommend using ANYONE else. Trust me, spending a little extra money will be worth it!

I rented a uhaul for a few hours...only to return it to be charged for something that wasn't explained to me upon renting.When I returned the truck another person was there...a female.She took out charges for a dolly and some cloths that was on the truck that I had no idea about being charged for.The dolly came with the truck and so did the cover.I wasnt told that if I used the cover I would be charged.I had my own coverings by the way.I believe that was some trumped up charges that I could have avoided only if they would have told me preliminary. Bad business! I tried to contact corporate..no success.Never again will I deal with Uhaul.

The on site manager was great!!! needed more help the problem is the (800) customer service not getting the correct info to the customer I was directed to one u haul that didn't have a truck and had to drive another 10 miles to get what I requested (thanks for gps) the drop off location as usual was great in and out in less than 15 minute

In the first place, U-Haul needs to make sure customers understand that they "request" a pickup location, but that location IS NOT GUARANTEED. I got an email telling me that my pickup location was 20 miles from my requested location. I called U-Haul the day before to VERIFY that my truck was at my preferred location, and was told it was. I showed up on time at my pickup location, only to find out that the U-Haul rep on the phone had given me incorrect information. Driving 25 miles out of my way and back was inconvenient. But, even more inconvenient was the loss of 2 hours of moving time. I have ALWAYS been able to pick up a truck at the place I chose. Better make sure this is really made clear to other people. The truck I received (10' box) was advertised as getting 24 mpg. It got 12.2 on interstate miles, which means that my fuel costs were double what I had planned. In addition, the Tire-Inflation Sensor in the left rear tire was not working properly. The location manager showed me that the tire was inflated properly, and I checked it along the way (1150 miles) to be sure. But I had a warning light staring at me the whole time, which was unnerving.
