The equipment was clean. The truck itself was perfectly fine. The auto trailer we received could not be disconnected from the truck even after following the website's directions. Also, one tire was so flat that it popped on the highway.

I dropped the vehicle off and was told I would be sent a receipt by email. I was returning to see my critically injured child who is hospitalized. I was very surprised to see that I was charged double the rate of the rental despite using it half the time rented for. I also was distressed to see a $25 cleaning fee despite returning the vehicle COMPLETELY clean with gas tank full. As it is Sunday morning and I am reviewing the receipt for the first time, I cannot call the office to complain today

The truck interior was clean but exterior had a decent amount of damage. Front headlight on passenger side had something wrong with it... It was extremely loose or something... When driving down the road it flickered like a strobe light... I reported to drop off location.

I requested a pick up truck and a tow dolly the day before but the dolly was not there at the location I reserved. I had to drive to another location called King's Towing 20 mins away just to pick it up and when I got there, spent another 30 mins just trying to get the thing signed out. None of the info I'd logged with u-haul carried over to them. No one there knew how to hook up the dolly so I had to figure it out on my own and the entire process from start to finish took 3 hours.

Sat at the rental return spot for 10 minutes before I finally called the office number and asked if they were open and could send someone to check me in. The office was sitting there, wide open, with nobody at the desks. There were several other people waiting for someone to show up to help them and don't know if they ever got helped after I got checked in.

I need to revise your reservations as far as your units it makes no sense that you reserve a unit and your unit is not available where you want to pick it up. This has happened more than once. I was pissed about having to pick up the truck from somewhere else. But I will say that the store that I did pick it up from uptown your staff there had A one customer service which made my Attitude Change. Thanks for great customer service.

When talking to the agent on the phone, they said we had to have the truck there before turn-in time of 4pm or pay for another day. We made it at 3:59 but it was a major hassle with road construction/trains on track...It would be nice to have a little leeway once we say we're within a mile.

The sleeve where the front tire strap is adjusted was bent, so it made it difficult to line the strap to the front wheel. May have had something to do with the strap coming loose late in the move. There was no phone number on the email (blank) that confirmed the reservation. Because there was no phone number and Uhaul’s policy is to call 24 hours before pickup, we were unable to confirm that the equipment was available until halfway (2 day trip) to Birmingham. I. E. Too late to change plans if it was not available, and quite risky. Reservation agent said no exceptions! The equipment was not available at the requested location or at the requested time. Bc UHaul changed the time without coordinating; it caused us to be 5 hours late and the Regional reservations folks to have to call us to confirm that we were still coming. More risk that someone else would get the equipment, even though we prepaid. Other than that affiant sayeth not??
