The woman working (manager?) was extremely helpful and courteous, so my negative comments do not at all apply to the actual people working, whom were exceptional, but to the U-Haul experience overall. Although I had resevered two utility and two furniture dollies online, there were none available at the store. The woman that helped me called every store in the area for twenty minutes and finally found some at the Woodlawn location. So the delay actually receiving the trunk wasn’t great (especially since I picked up via phone) and then the added time to drive to a separate location (and needing to pay for the additional mileage) wasn’t a great way to start the move. The truck itself was damaged on every surface including the roof of the cargo area which had been patched but continues to leaks. The light in the back didn’t work, the windows didn’t roll all the way up, the shocks were total garbage, the oil light kept blinking on and off, the mpg efficiency gauge didn’t work, the rolling door was extremely difficult to open and close and required far too much strength to properly operate, and the ramp was covered in broken glass. Honestly, it was the shittiest moving truck I’ve ever been in and you should put it out of its misery.

The rental and the location was great. The only problem was the van. It was a newer model and very uncomfortable. I am a tall person and not being able to adjust the seat because of the break pedal was to close to the driver and the gas pedal far away where the break pedal should be next to it. Please fix that or at least pedal adjustment button.

The uhaul that I rented drove pretty rough. I believe the transmission is slipping. You have to take your foot off of the gas petal in order for it to switch from first to second gear. The employees were very friendly and helpful

Every aspect of my experience with the staff and equipment was above average nearing excellent. Great team of folks who seem to recognize the importance of customer relations and quality assurance and are consistently cordial regardless of the time of day.

This location is the closest to where I am located but I do not like that I am not able to drop off with certain vehicles and that there is no where for me to leave my car. I have used this location more than once and used to be my go to place. In the past I was able to leave my car, making it to where I do not need to ask someone to drop me off or me finding my own way there being as though I cannot drive 2 cars at once. I was only using the vehicle for a few hours and came back the same night. Now I am told they will tow my car if left there, and that was told to me from another associate. the person that did my paperwork did not mention anything about that so had the other person not let me know that as I was driving off the lot I would have never known and gotten my car towed costing me more money than need be. This is not convent by any means and convince is a big part of customer service, as is given the guest ALL information needed. With that being said I will never come to this location again. I would rather driver further than to be treated the way I was this last visit.

I did not request this location, so was inconvenienced at the start. There wasn't enough staff available. They were having multiple conversations on the phone while customers were waiting. The equipment I requested wasn't available, luckily I didn't need it. Very slow process considering everything was done on line beforehand.

Earnest was great! The location was not manned with enough people to handle the Sunday crunch. My truck had no keys which threw off the exit process. Which than resulted in further confusion and I did not get the 1 way truck that I needed. But Earnest at that location plus the lady at the Rockville, MD. Location were able to fix the error in a timely and acceptable manner. This could have been averted if Earnest had more help to handle the mishaps. There needs to be an extra trouble shooter person on hand for the busier shifts.

I rented a truck for the day to be returned after hours. Returned the truck at about 7 PM that day and was charged for 2 days. I called the location to ask about it and was told that they had it in their system that I returned the truck after 21 hours which was incorrect so they would transfer me to billing to get the charges handled which couldn't be handled by them. After speaking with someone I was told that the truck was returned 20 minutes late after hours according to what I said and they couldn't do a thing without the manager of the location and before I could explain anything else I was transferred back somewhere (was on perpetual hold).
