Keep the parking lot clean of debris. The lot gets so full of sharp objects I worried I would have a punctured tire every time I visited. Only happened once, but shouldn't have happened at all. Location is also understaffed at the counter with one, maybe two, people working the counter and the rest of the employees standing around milling about (I assume because they are supposed to be working with the trucks and trailers). The checkout process is lengthy enough to take 10-15 minutes per person when equipment is involved, so even a 2 person line is a long line and no where to sit and no clear place to queue (very chaotic). For days like that, a number system would be better -- take a number and have a seat. Still the best full service location in Bakersfield.

Sales person didn’t have patience looked tired and didn’t want to be there. Rushed me thru the process didn’t have the answers or the other person that worked there. Told me to just call the 1-800 number for U-Haul. During my trip I was pulling a motorcycle trailer the install I had done at the uhaul location for my hitch and wiring harness install the wiring kept blowing fuses on my wiring so the lights were not working. I got pulled over twice for no lights, even bought fuses to replace them but continue to blow out, this has to be faulty workmanship of the wiring install at uhaul. I went into location to complain about it and didn’t feel they really care they want to fix the problem. This location is a mess and need some structure and good management and leadership. Every time I been in there seems the employees are fighting with there boss

I went tonight to get a uhual. Asked for a dolly. They confirmed the dolly was in the truck. Got home and there was no dolly. Called and the staff and management was extremely rude and disrespectful. Manager said if I want the dolly I need to go and purchase one and there's nothing she can do to fix her staffs mistake. Clearly these people dont want returning customers.

Trailer was great. The employee that helped outside did a good job. The guy that helped me inside was too busy discussing something he was looking at on his phone to help me. He even sat there and discussed it with the other worker (it said “owner” on her name tag). It was pretty dis organized inside. There should be separate lines for returns and pick ups, as returns take far less time (if they don’t make you wait in line).
