Service was a little slow I arrived to pickup my reservation truck 2 other customers arrived afterwards they seemed to usher right through and also I was asked to inspect the vehicle assigned to me so after a walk around I was made aware be a employee that I inspected wrong truck and had to repeat the inspection

Rating it poor because the trailer I rented was stolen and apparently recovered both in Bakersfield. I had reported to U-Haul and PD right away, yet U-Haul billed me for the days the thief had it and the impound fees. I emailed the contact in the U-Haul email but I got no reply and I was given to U-Haul collections. I then called them and they were able to resolve it. It was very unsettling to get a bill for over $1,000 for something I had no control over.

Just the truck was dirty from the outside.......full of mud; however, I realize they were busy and short handed, but all in all.......we were in and out of there (mobile check in) in no time at all and the customer service was excellent!!!

Had huge issues with hitch install for towing trailer. Hitch was installed but lighting was hooked up incorrectly which resulted in being unable to pick up trailer at the time needed. After the lighting issue was resolved no trailer in the size that I needed was available and I ended up having to throw away a lot of my items in order to fit the smaller size.

We received a truck that was full of mud. Once we returned the truck and dolly and pads (all at once) I was harrassed for the next two days becuase they said I only returned the dolly....which was on the truck with the pads. I recieved a reciept via email but still was accused of not returning the truck. Your process Must improve and I am not impressed at this time.

Truck was not adequate to fit all my belongings. Truck did not have ramp as I requested, therefore why would I need a dolly? The movers I hired showed up late and when I called to inform Uhaul the lady I spoke to about it was rude and kept me on the phone for over 30 min (all while I’m still trying to pack). Lastly, the univsal lock I purchased at Uhaul did not fit on the back door latch further delaying my move as one of my friends had to stand with the truck while we loaded the truck at my apt in Oakland. I will never use Uhaul again and will be contacting customer service to be reimbursed for a portion of my charges.

The truck I rented smelled like someone had been smoking in it. When I returned the truck, the front desk clerk tried to charge me for gas when I brought it back with a hair more than when I got it and he wouldn’t even try to work with me. Absolutely terrible!!!

I was charged TWICE on my credit card!!! And then Customer Service said for me to call the bank, so they can deal with it.. They’re NOT helpful at all!!! I’m pissed off!!!

When I pick up the truck, I did not get a walk through showing me all the dents and blemishes in the truck. When I drop it, the guy noticed and photograph blemishes that were not mark or shown on my contract. Good thing I bought the insurance, but it seems illogical to question every blemish that was already on the truck when I pick it up.
