Location was adequate (it’s a rental location) but service was quick and efficient. On line booking tool needs improvement. The calendar to check ou needs to also be available for the return date as it causes confusion when my 7th day was finished. After speaking to a central reservation person they clarified I would need another day. When they were to add an 8th day they messed up and made it for only 1 day. The location rep was able to fix this the day before I picked up.

Pay double for what I do some somwhere else, The 19.95 per day is a scam in my books, very misleading, I got charged $89.00 plus Km+ insurance, Very hunhappy, I will never go back to you, and be sure I will tell people every chance I have for years to come!!!

Having the tongue for the trailer on something elevated would be beneficial, it is very heavy.

The truck was parked in a narrow location at the U-Haul site making it a little difficult to drive it off the lot since I had to drive between two other parked trucks on each side of the exit. Maybe have a wider open space to drive the truck off the lot would be better. Other than that, I had no issues.

When I inquired about substituting my 15 ft confirmation to a 10 ft truck ( as it better suited my needs ) , customer service was very accommodating . The overall procedure was very efficient . Very pleased .

The Aurora location and staff were excellent. BUT, I had originally booked a 10’ truck through the website that said it was available in my area. I received an email from U- Haul a day before I was moving, and they said there was no truck available at the location I selected, but I was confirmed to pick one up at the closest location; an hour and a half away. I called them and wasn’t able to book a 9’ cargo van at a much closer location, which is what I originally wanted and the website had said they didn’t have. TLDR: Update your website when different vehicles are booked! There’s no point in booking vehicles that way if it isn’t up to date!

The mileage charge is not cheap. Need find a close by place to minimize the mileage charge. Book in advance is important in the hot season, ie in the last two weeks of June and July. The fuel was 3/4 full. Need calculate the gas consumption when refill the tank. The 10-foot truck consume less than 20 liters per 100 km.

Manager upon arriving was rude and obnoxious. The first words out of his mouth where your late. And it didn't get any better after that. The trailer was hard to pull due to lack of maintanice too the wheel bearings. I have rented many times. But never again from this location.

The older man I returned the truck to was extremely weird with no customer service skills at all. I walked into the store and he just stared at me. I told him I’m returning a truck, he just started at me. 5 seconds later he asks how late I am? I told him I’m an hour early. He just stared at me. I said is that it? His response was yes and I left. Very weird interaction and won’t be going back there. The first guy I rented the truck off was nice though.

1) There was no procedure accompanying dropping off the truck. I parked it behind another truck and waited for the rep. The rep was very pleasant but our interaction was limited to passing off the keys, me pointing out the broken light, him asking if I'm ok with receiving a bill in the mail (me saying "yes") and him driving the truck to the back. I would expect a check of truck status: gas, mileage, condition, functionality, followed by me signing off on the return so that there's proof of drop off available. 2) When the bill arrived the second day, the reflected return date/time was incorrect. Also I got charged for " extra" mileage. The charge was negligible, but the fundamental problem here is that when I booked online, I was lead to believe I will be getting a bigger truck from a closer location. A day after the booking I received a phone call notifying me only the smaller truck was available and only from a location quite a bit out of my way. I was pressed for time, so I accepted. Now, because the online booking was misleading as to merchandise and convenience, I find it ironic that I would be charged for the extra km I had to go out of my way to pick up the truck from a substitute location.

We arrived to pick up our 26ft truck on sunday morning and the store was closed. We were unable to rent the truck on sunday and as a result we incurred a $150 no show fee on the item we were schedule to pick up. We had to rebook the pick for monday. This was an incredible waste of time and money as a result of Uhaul's employee not showing up for work

Have someone in the location office so that no one has to stand around for 40 minutes or at least have a phone number on the door to get hold of someone at site. I will never use this location again nor recommend it to anyone else

The store was supposed to open at 9:00 and an employee finally showed up at 9:45. We and other customers waited at the door for a long time, only to then wait even longer inside.

Only problem with this is,I had to pick up a trailer from another location 20 km's away . This work's out to be 60 extra km's more than I wanted to drive .

Person at the desk in the morning when I was picking up my rental was not very friendly. Didn’t even look up from her work when I walked in the door. After a few minutes she said “I’ll be a couple of minutes”. I would think the customer is the priority, not completing paperwork..

They should have more than one person on staff during the busy morning pickup period. It took way too long to get people on their way. The guy was efficient and courteous but not enough to handle the line up quickly. There is paperwork, directing customer to their unit, help some hooking up trailers, and then final inspection before leaving. Customers got frustrated and they may go elsewhere next time. The site, office and units were clean and organized. Impressive actually. They definitely need more customer parking up front.
