Very accommodating & helpful
Nothing...everything was excellent.
Could not use it for what we needed. It was stuck in my driveway for half the time i had the van. It sucked . Im sorry but if you r going to have a truck in maine it should be ready foe the weather.
my husband left money in the truck and when we called about it we were told that" chances are if we did leave any money in there whoever cleaned the truck out most likely took it". That to me is not very reassuring or honest on any employee who decides to take someone else's money! especially these days! needless to say, we're out $200.00 dollars.
U-Haul needs an overhaul! Clean up your records! Match correct phone numbers with correct legit U-Haul stores. Make sure the U-Haul that you select with the truck is a LEGIT, STILL IN BUISNESS location!!!!!! Train your U-Haul representatives at locations a STANDARD process about who owns word locks on the one way long distance trucks, explain to customers that they will have to have a smart phone with location services on to be able to pick up truck...... ugggg.

Be more transparent about costs. I was surprised it was well over $90
The original truck reserved was let go as we did not come for earliest pickup. Please note the pickup time adjusted when I put the end time and the number of hours. This required us to pay more for the next size up. This seems to be a bait and switch tactic as if you had my credit card and a reservation, that size should have been available to me. They did not show us where it was, just sent us back behind building with a key and a spot number. When we arrived at the first site to move, we were unable to open back of truck as frozen shut. Called and they told us to smack the seal and it should open. We had to use hot water to unseal. Then when finally opened door, no dollies inside. Rented 2 dollies which were not in truck. Called the center and person who answered said we should have grabbed them out front when we left. We were not told to come back out front with truck and dig them out of snow to put into a truck that we couldn't have opened at that site in any case. I had to go back in personal vehicle to get the dollies and transport to moving site. The truck itself was fine and move was successful. Gentleman who we returned the equipment to was very pleasant. I would be hesitant to rent here again as I felt they didn't give us any customer service and we were more a "hassle" to them. When we checked in, an associate should have gone and gotten the truck, made sure it opened up and put the dollies we rented onto it. That would have been a more appropriate basic service to us.
For one thing I told uhaul employee where I was driving to and from and they estimated the milage. The milage went over by 14 miles. They said it was a $1 over for every mile and charged me $20. $1 per mile at 14 miles is $14 not $20 and further more ine if your employees estimated the miles not me. Then they charged me fo a dolly I never used. One of my friends had brought their dolly and we used my friends not u-hauls. I went back to talk to the employee at the u-haul that I rented the truck from after talking to an employee on the phone. The gentleman told me after explaining everything I just wrote oh so the bill is $125 something minus 7 because you didn't use the dolly. Then the following day uhaul has another $20 coming out of my account for what who knows??? So for a bill that started out as $104.00 has now gone over $150. I would not recommend uhaul to anyone. sorry Not good customer service and not good communication or understanding. No clue what all these extra charges are either. I used Auburn ME uhaul location.
When we dropped off the truck we were disappointed to have to interact with an employee who was unmasked for the entirety of the interaction. Would not recommend to anyone returning to a business not following health and safety protocols in a pandemic.
This was the first time using uhaul that they exceeded my expectations! It was seamless and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Five stars to the manager and crew!
The employee that helped us with our rental was helpful and efficient. Not many employees impress me these days with their crappy attitudes. Ur employee was awesome and had a great attitude. I'd go to uhual again just because of him.
No manager on site. Only one very nice employee working, but he had no authority or additional help to support him.
Drop off location states to stay in vehicle and staff will come to you to check in. After several minutes of waiting I went inside, and staff told me to leave keys in vehicle and leave. I offered to settle bill for additional mileage and was told no, it will be added and rebilled later. Received my bill for almost double what rental should have cost, so now I need to make a special trip back to store to resolve error.

This is the 2nd truck I've rented in a month. When I turned in the first one, a worker came out and inspected the truck before I left. I had commented that the dolly and furniture pads had been in the way and he advised I could ask them to remove them. This time, when I got in the truck it was filthy. An inch of dust on the steering column and dashboard and the windshield was so filthy inside and out that I couldn't hardly see out of it. So given the added restrictions of the covid rules, this truck was obviously not cleaned let alone disinfected. Additionally, a worker wouldn't take the dolly out prior to me leaving and when I turned the truck in, he's the same jerk who wouldn't get out of his chair to come outside and do his job, instead telling me to leave the keys in the truck and he'd email me a receipt (never looking up from his computer). U-Haul as a company and this location specifically is a terrible company. Very inconsistent on your policies (and apparently training) and it's a 50/50 shot if you'll get a friendly employee or a totally lazy rude one. You also offer no discounts for multiple truck rentals like I needed and no discounts for Fire/Police/Military like every other company. I have rented U-Hauls many, many times over my lifetime and it seems it's always a below average to bad experience when dealing with UHaul corporation.
Bring the vehicle to the front so I don't need to go on a scavenger hunt for vehicle :(
When people pay with another form of payment u really should return their money on their card and the tires was basically bald and slipped off road so wouldn't recommend using that truck again During winter
I am a monthly rental unit renter and use your trucks several times throughout the year. I returned a rental yesterday morning and dealt with rudest arrogant child running your store! Guy was arguing with me about basic math101 and was trying to overcharge me around $40. When I asked for clarification of the charges he was annoyed and in the end completely wrong with his breakdown. I asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one available. Asked for the manager's contact info and was told to call the 800 number. This completely explains all of your one star ratings online for this location! Horrible quality service! PS: you also constantly have a truck blocking full access to my rental unit!!
Some how you have to let customers know you are in the building somewhere. We had to go search for some to help us, but once that happen, everything was excellent. Garrett Addison was very helpful and knowledgeable about the whole rental agreement. We would go see him again.
Staff was rude and none of them were wearing masks in the office.
Truck was not prepared; we had to sit 30+ minutes melting/clearing ice and snow off the windows and lights. It did not have the amount of gas in it stated on the contract. We were already late for our appointment due to lack of help in the store: one young man working alone couldn't process the pick-ups and returns in a reasonable time. We stood in line a long time..., along with many others...we were masked as required...he was NOT! This was not the location near where our appointment was; if directed there again we will refuse.
