Insure the tank is full, inspect the vehicle for items from the previous renter, discuss rate change before making alteration, provide the least expensive rate at time of return.
Terrible customer service. Truck Gas and mileage was off and in their favor. When I brought it up to guy at counter he said he couldn't fix the mileage as the truck was already dispatched. This was wrong and a lie. They charge you .40/mile over what you book. I booked a one way with drop off at different location. When I picked up the truck I was told I couldn't drop truck off to where I had booked and had to drive 20 miles further but they did not credit me with the extra mileage. The icing on the cake was when I droped the truck off I was told that I was responsible for the last persons trip and that this wasn't the truck I booked. I explained everything to the girl recieving the truck and she apologized for all the screw ups and promised to fix it so I wouldn't be charged extra. Very poor experience and I blame the guy at the Attleboro Pleasant St. Location for all of this.
My appointment was set for 7am and no one was there until 720 to open the store. Other than that it was good .
employees were horrible. not helpful at all. bad attitude no customer service at all...

Carlos the GM was incredibly rude. Not friendly or helpful. Condescending tone and "matter of fact" attitude when i asked simple questions. At one point the man says "you can Google this stuff, its pretty common knowledge about Uhaul ".. I'd rather rent from anywhere else than Uhaul because of this experience
Always a great experience, The Employees/Staff/Management are always very friendly and accommodating...The Storage Unit was spacious and clean. UHaul store has plenty of products to help anyone move! Thank You!
Need more than one person working the front desk
It took me from 650 am until 935am to get my reserved truck The process kept failing over and over and then they scanned my cc so many times it alerted my bank as fraudulent and i lost access to it for the day. The wait at uhaul cost me $350 in labor fees as my guys just stood there amd then at return it cost.me double in gas fees and now i have a promisary note to pay because of it Horrible experience. Manager was supposed to call me today and he did not :(
U-Haul mobile app is the worst! Every time have to spend so much time to make online/mobile app reservation, after that have a call that it's not available, find alternative location and spend a lot of time to go over again in person. Waisted of time a LOT!

There was only one young man trying to do everything. He desperately needed some help. He did a super job but I felt bad for him.
I got lucky, I hadnt reserved in advance, but we got a truck. Advice to future customers is order in advance! Everything was great though and the truck was just the amount of space I needed!

The truck was Very good, clean, comfortable, $ well maintained. However, the reservation system is a scam! I reserved a 20 foot truck on Thursday, September 24th for a pickup dat of October 3rd. Plenty of time ahead the pickup date. I received a call the day before (10/2) Telling me that there wasn't a 20 foot truck available at my pick up location (Attleboro, MA). The nearest 20 foot truck was in Newport, RI & if I still wanted what I reserved, more than a week earlier, then I would have to pick it up in Newport, RI. I live in Mansfield, MA. I requested the next size down, a 17 foot truck. None were available I was told. I was told all that U-Haul available was either a 26 footer or a 15 footer. I was forced to take the 15 footer. Everything for move from 1 place to another was happening the next day, what choice did I have. This was a typical â€œbait & switchâ€ tactic!!! I ended up having to make 2 moves rather than moving everything in 1 move. Then when I go to return the truck, the U-Haul employee has the nerve to tell me I went over my allotted mileage. I explained that I was suppose to have a larger truck, & because I didn't I had to move twice. That's where the extra mileage came in. I was also dropping it off at a location (North Attleboro, MA) that was further than where I lived which also added to the mileage overage. He couldn't have cared less. I said fine, & I paid the Extra money. I just wanted this U-Haul experience over with!!! Believe me, the next time I need to rent a truck, I'll think twice about renting from U-Haul!!!!!!
