I didn't receive a receipt when I turned the truck in the day before it was due, even though I asked for a receipt. The next day I received an email and a phone call that I did not return the truck. Later the same day, I received an invoice for not returning the truck on time. I had to call Uhaul twice and was told that the extra charge would be reversed and that a manager would call me. I have not heard from a manager yet. The charge for the extra day is still on my account.

I showed up to pick up my reserved truck at 10:35. There were two guests in front of me and it took the associate 25 mins to handle both guest, which caused me to be late and my reservation cancelled. The associate was not wearing a mask at all on the premise. After completing a new reservation, I was shown to the truck for inspection. The 10' truck I picked up was not properly checked in previously by the other associate, causing the gas mileage on the contract vs the actual to be incorrect. The associate outside admitted she didn't check in correctly and instructed me to “take a picture” to confirm the variance. There was no sense of urgency at this location, in addition to a lack to safety/awareness regarding COVID. I don't ever expect to rent with this location again.

Your staff were kind, courteous, professional, and I was able to get back where I needed to be before they closed. A friend and of mine was taking snd dropping it off for me because it was so difficult for me to drive it. When he got it it was in perfect condition and I thought he dropped it off the day it was due back


The original reservation was not at this location it was changed less than 24 hours before pickup. The equipment included with the CONFIRMED reservation was NOT available. Thanks to the efforts of Danielle o waa able to get the equipment. The Cobb location was useless and unprofessional in handling this reservation which had been booked and confirmed well in advance.

I made a reservation 10 days in advance for an 8 am pickup. I arrived at 7:45 am and no one came to the desk to assist with checking in until around 8:20. When I finally start I'm informed that the auto-hauler I reserved isn't available, again I made the reservation 10 days in advance to ensure everything went smoothly. At first the guy tried to be accommodating and upgraded my truck size for the inconvenience and found a location I could go to which was a good 30 minutes away and would have been another 45 minute drive back and I had movers scheduled for 9 am meaning I would likely not be back until 10 am at the earliest. Eventually he finds one available at his location that was registered as broken, but wasn't?, so I was finally able to start checking in. When he gets to the payment portion he tells me I owe over $1000 which doesn't make sense because I have a corporate voucher that covered everything. I decided to try and call my relo person to get clarification but didn't have any luck due to the time difference so I opted to just put everything on my card and let it get worked out afterwards and hop back in line again. After another hour I'm finally back at the desk and try to finalize the process but there's an error message so he had to start over again. When he finally gets back to entering my vehicle information for the auto-hauler he tells me it won't actually work. That's extremely odd because the original uhaul rep said it would, it worked when I confirmed my reservation, and it worked the first 2x he entered it in! I explained that to him and he says something along the lines of "there's nothing I can do, the system says it won't work." What the actual fuck! He was the same person that entered it in earlier so he knows it does which means it was either a glitch in the system or he selected the wrong auto-hauler yet he refused to do anything about it. At this point I had been there roughly 3 hours and I fully admit I was fuming at that time so I told him he needed to call someone to fix the issue as I was already having to pay my movers extra since they were scheduled from 9-11 and I was still at the Uhaul shop at 11 and there was absolutely no way I could postpone my 1200 mile move! Instead of calling someone he takes a uhaul pen out of a cup and slides it to me and says here's the number...! I get out of line, again, and try calling the GM of the location but it goes to VM and her box was full so no luck, I try and call corporate but after being on hold for 20 minutes without speaking to someone I hang up and try my relo person, luckily this time I get her. After explaining everything to her she let's me know she's calling someone asap so I get back in line. Once I finally make it to the front I'm assisted by a young lady that just arrived and she did her best to assist but it's now showing the auto-hauler the previous person told me was available isn't actually available and all they have are units that have to be returned to that location. I finally get a call from the Uhaul rep and he gets everything sorted out and I was finally able to finalize everything but I still had to put almost $1400 down on my card. I make my way to the vehicle and the guy from earlier is working on setting it up and walks back inside after about 5 minutes. I thought he was going back in to pick up the dollies I had reserved but after another 5-10 minutes of waiting I head back inside and see him back at the desk. I go up and he starts going over how I need to make another $750 payment because I've only paid the deposit, or something, which made absolutely no sense as I show him the receipt from earlier and the alert from my card company showing the charge. He finally just gives up and says he'll let the GM handle it when she gets back and I FINALLY get the auto-hauler attached so I can leave after over 4 hours! I know some things were out of his control and that it was, apparently, his day off but he came in because the GM was having "lady problems" and needed time off, his words not mine. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had and I will never use uhaul again in the future even if it costs more to use someone else! Sorry for any typos as I'm doing this from my phone but I hope you can feel the rage and frustration I experienced!
