The online check-in process was a nightmare, and after all I went through I still ended up having to go into an office to get the key. The whole point was to avoid going into an office. The identity verification is ridiculous and should be more transparent. People don't answer phone numbers they don't know these days, so trying to call someone to verify identity is a terrible tactic, especially because the user isn't told that someone is going to be called to give them a heads up.
Improvements needed when returning the rental truck. No one answering the phone after hour if you have problems online requirements. It is difficult to get anyone to answer the phone in a timely manner. Staff were polite and would rent again from this location.

The odor in the truck was very very strong of air freshener
Was unable to access the website for key box pickup so I had to go in and go through check in with the attendant. Didnt see the truck out front and was told the truck was parked across super market parking lot by the road- on the opposite end from the store- not ready for pickup. Truck smelled of smoke so bad I had to keep the windows down the entire time and the steering wheel was sticky.
The associate was amazing ! Very nice , willing to work hard to get me in a uhaul in 15mins tops .
They did everything 100% right. Very helpful even in a tough situation. I'd highly recommend them. Thank you for making the day less stressful.
Need a better Reservation process. I reserved 3 days prior to needing uhaul, completed online check ins & all. But when the day came i had to go through an act of congress & an hour of phone calls and face to face at uhaul just to get into a van that was supposed to already be reserved. But the manager at this location was the savior of my day and she absolutely did all she could to make sure she got me in a uhaul that day and I appreciate her dearly!!
I think it's kind of ridiculous that the trucks come with a tank that's less then half
Rented an open trailer. 1st trailer had NO WORKING trailer lights. 2nd trailer had ONE working trailer light. Had no choice but to take it. Upon return looked at bill had been charged for insurance I did not purchase. Took manager 30 minutes to recalculate correct charge. Looked at bank that evening had been charged twice instead of credit. Had to go back to location 2 days later to get charges straightened out and was told there would be no charge. That didn't happen either. Inquired about purchase price of trailers since I was told they are available for sale. No one ever returned the call, including the manager. I have used uhaul quite a bit overthe years. This locations management is terrible, she doesn't have a clue what's going on.

The problem is your computer software. A mobile pickup turned into a two hour ordeal as the assigned cargo van wasn't on the premises and the available van wasn't in the U-Haul system. It took repeated calls by your staff (who were stellar) to Arizona to even get me into the available van. The van then needed air in the tires (dashboard light was on), it was on empty and the fuel light came on as I turned onto the street, the side door would not open unless the key was inserted into the lock and turned to right and the van had not been cleaned. Furthermore, on 9.11.20 I was given a credit for the appliance dolly ($10) which the staff could not apply when I returned on 9.12.20. The return was another 40 minute ordeal (again the staff worked hard). I should be given a full credit for the $126.17 charge. Anything less is an insult. There are four Enterprise rental locations near me and I've never had this happen before.
When I arrive that morning to pick up my U-Haul, there seemed to be some confusion going on behind the counter. It appeared that there was no truck for my reservation but there was a key hanging on the hook but said that the vehicle needed to have maintenance. The morning manager had to modify in the computer in order to allow me to be able to rent this vehicle that obviously needed to be serviced. When I was driving down the highway, The vehicle would accelerate and break without me touching any petals. Once I got to my new house to unload the truck, it wouldn't even go up the driveway. When you mash the gas pedal nothing happened and the speedometer quit working. When I contacted the manager from the place that I rented, she said that I need to call roadside assistance. I tried to call them but I was on hold for 30 minutes and decided to hang up. When I crank the truck back up, it seem to be working fine again so I tried to return it to the U-Haul place . Once I got a few miles down the road it started to accelerate again and break without me touching anything. And then completely stopped so parked it on the side of the road. I tried once again to call roadside assistance and was on hold for a very long time. At this point I had to leave the U-Haul because my family was following in the car behind me and it was 90Â° outside . After waiting an insane time, A lady named Pat picked up and seemed to be irritated with me as if this was all my fault. She couldn't seem to understand the situation and tried to tell me that I was gonna have to pay for the tow truck. A little later, I finally got in touch with somebody in a corporate office or something and she did a really good job of understanding the situation. I believe her name was Liz. I explains to her that it seems that the manager at the U-Haul store knowingly gave me a defective truck because they were running low and it almost caused me to get into an accident. A couple of hours later, the evening manager at the U-Haul store contacted me and informed me that I will not be charge. I am very grateful for that and for her to allow that but I am still really upset that the morning manager gave me a defective truck and it made my entire move incredibly complicated.
When I initially made my online reservation I went to the location to be told they don't rent out trucks! I got a call from an associate 45 min after my pick up time to tell me this! The agent was very rude and uncaring after I asked why she didn't call me before my pick up time (Gainesville Office). After making another online reservation, I got a call saying there was no truck at that location and to pick up at a nearby location. My time was wasted, I had hired movers and had lost $100 before I even got a truck and got started. My reservation was for 1:30 at north Ave location, but it took about 45 min to check out & then another 20 min to go get the truck and sanitize. The north Ave manager (I think she was Puerto Rican), was extremely nice and went above and beyond to making my process easy, but my overall experience was not one I would recommend to anyone. I have rented from this company so many times, its the only company I use actually. I'm not sure if I would do business again & its sad because I'm buying a house and will need a truck again to move in a few months.
Process was slow despite the fact that I had checked in on line.
Signs not very clear where to drop off equipment. Employees working were not interested in helping until after we let them know we only needed to drop something off.

I appreciated the drive-up system - it was efficient and minimized contact. Woman we worked with to return our trailer was friendly and professional.
Customer service was terrible. I waited 1.5 hours to drop out the truck. I had to wait unnecessarily because after all this time one employee just received the keys and didn't do any inspection to the truck. There should be a drop off box or something more efficient. Also, I saw many customer whose trucks were not available to pick up even after a reservation was done. This delayed all the service since it took one hour to solve this customer's problem while I was in line. This location is messy. The employees don't know what they're doing and they don't know either where their trucks are !
