Reduce prices for mileage. It should be 50 cents every mile not 89 :(

it was a little difficult having the trucks so far away from the office, took up extra time. Everyone was very friendly and helpful though.

They said I agreed to drop the truck off , I did not. It was agreed to go to weaverville. The road is closed 299 so I had to drop it in willow creek. The woman I called was very rude and hung up on me. I would never darken her doorstep. What happened to customer service?

My experience was hell from start to finish. First, the location is primarily a gas station and convenience store, and there's usually only a single clerk working. I was helped for a few minutes at a time in between other customers. None of my cards was being accepted for authorization, and eventually it became clear that the whole system was down. I was unable to pay cash. Ultimately, I received a hand-written contract and the process took about 45 minutes. The trucks are parked two miles away, and when I got there I found that my truck's windows and cargo door had been left open in the rain, so the interior front and back were soaking wet. I had to help the yard employee dry it out. The truck had only 1/4 tank of gas; no rental vehicle should go out without a full tank of gas! Finally, when I returned the truck, I found that someone had parked another truck behind my personal vehicle, blocking it in! So I had to go back to the station to get the key to move it so I could leave.

Seems like alot of steps involved to actually reserve and then pick up and drop off paperwork takes too much time. Overall happy.

You wouldn't think that a Petroleum Station would rent Uhauls, but don't let that deter you! They are super nice and go out of their way to help you. They had all of the dollies and moving blankets I needed too. Highly recommend them!

Person checking us in did not give us any of the proper paperwork. Then the location to pick up the equipment was 2 miles away. Finally when we returned the equipment then turned back up at the shop we were told we needed to bring the trailer to the store, which we were never told, and we had already returned our truck.

The transaction took a long time because we were in a gad station and the cashier constantly had to help other people. He was very kind though.

One person to run a convenience store and uhaul service. Uhaul not on site. Had to "find" the location. No map provided. And had to drive 89 miles to pick up the truck which was not available in city reserved. Terrible experience. At the pick up location Uhaul process took over an hour to fill out the paperwork because the employee had no help.

Blankets where wet. The service was slow. The truck was not filed up, and the milage was wrong. The trucks were parked 3 miles away, so my ride had to stick around while I did all the paperwork, which took for ever, due to attendant having to keep an eye on store, and taking other customers from gas station in-between, and the inconsistencies with the truck. Over all I would say go with a Eureka location instead, even if it's a few miles more.

Too many steps to drop off a truck. I would NEVER choose this location again.

This location needs to ensure that there is a representative on-site at the location of pick-up, and ensure that vehicles are not blocking in rented equipment. When I arrived to the pick-up site, the representative had left a note on the door saying "out to get munchies." Because of this, I -- a single young woman -- was forced to hitch my trailer and load my car without any assistance. The process took me almost two hours because I did not have the assistance from the representative who was supposed to be there, yet was "out to get munchies" for the entire two hours that I was struggling to maneuver my 15' van into position to connect the auto transport trailer and then load my car onto said trailer. I was also required to return to the rental site to pick up the keys for another van because the second van was blocking in my auto transport. The rental site representative told me that if I wanted to access my auto transport trailer, I would have to move the van myself and return the keys afterward, and would not rent me the van in question instead (despite it also being a 15' van) because she would have to fill out the rental paperwork all over again. This absolutely should not have happened and wasted valuable time that I should have been spending loading my vehicle in preparation for my out-of-state move. Other miscellaneous notes include that the vehicle reeked of cigarette smoke and the storage area of the van was filthy. Ultimately, this was an incredibly poor experience and would never recommend this location - moving is a stressful enough experience without this sort of [lack of] service.

1. Ensure truck does not smell like incense and marijuana 2. Tell customer beforehand that they will Need to drop truck off over mile away and then return keys to original place 3. Ensure truck bay is clean before giving it to customer. I don't mind cleaning up after myself, but I do mind cleaning up other people's messes especially since there is a fine for not sweeping truck.

Everything was great until I dropped it off. You would think the 36 hour drive would be the worst part about it but that is heaven compared to the hostility I endured when dropping the u haul off. I was 2 days late because I kept bringing it to the wrong u hauls and I didn't know there was a specific location I had to drop it off at. Also I didn't even know that the location was a gas for less and I had to sign the papers there and then drive the u haul a mile to a different location and then bring the keys back. All of that isn't a problem but I when I told the u haul owner (middle aged lady I will find out her name and report her but at the time was in such fear couldn't even think) that I just couldn't find the location she started screaming at as I was walking out to the u haul to continue my cleaning. She was screaming " all you customers are the same you don't read the paperwork and don't listen to instructions" this is just a little bit of how much harassment I got that day. I am literally still in shock that she treats customers like that. I am a very polite and respectful man and trust me I'm never one to go out of my way to Complain like this but this was by far the worst service and disturbing interaction I've had in my entire life. Seriously the absolutely the worst! There isn't a close second to how bad i was treated that day. It's sad because i really enjoyed the whole experience And would recommend to all but the last half hour of the 8 day transaction killed the entire experience for me. I will never use u haul again and will never recommend it for anyone I know and I would have if it wasn't for the unprofessional behavior and hostility I got when dropping the u haul off. After looking at Yelp I've realized many other people aren't happy with the service at the petro mart gas for less in arcata and it really makes haul look bad. Please Call me if you would like me to describe the terrible experience in detail. (630)853-5673

The trailer brake lights and turn signals didn't work. I paid a mechanic $50 to trace it down and replace a blown fuse. The rental agent said I had to take it up with U-Haul. What do i need to do to be refunded the $50.

The person at the counter was courteous. However, she did had some difficulty navigating the computer U-Haul screen to find what she needed.

The representative was so busy helping customers that it took a long time. There was a printer malfunction and I had to go home and come back. It totaled an hour and I do not feel it was her fault - she needed more help to serve all those people. She was very professional and kind.
