The 'boss' called me Sunday to say my uhaul would be due Monday by 8:30am. I asked about after hours drop off and he said the station would be open 'til 11pm Sunday night and I could drop it off by then. When I arrived at the station, a very small mini-mart for a gas station, the 'employee' said that uhauls could not be returned after 6pm. I told him the guy who called me said I could drop it off by 11pm. He said that this has happened with many customers; his boss does not explain to them that the computer for uhaul returns shuts down at 6pm. He told me that I could leave the uhaul at their holding lot (1.5 miles down the road at 105 Alder Grove) and return in the morning to finalize the drop off. I did so, but when I returned in the morning the boss told me that he could not finalize the return without the odometer reading. I told him what had happened the night before and he said he would have to go down to the lot in the afternoon for the odometer reading. I called uhaul management right after this and filed a formal complaint.

For customer disputes agent should hv contact uhaul corp to verify their promises on 1 free rental day and also 1st month storage unit free for one way truck rental. Vehicle was tagged for this but not honored.

Do routine maintenance on the trucks to assure that your customer has the best travel experience. Our trucks Check engine light turned on causing the car to only go 45 mph and the truck start to eat gas. Had to fill up 3 more times more then the last time I moved out to where I came from. Worst Moving Experience Ever!!!

A little more organized by having the right keys for truck at the station. Otherwise it was hilarious experience and I had a blast it was weird but fun.

Have two people working at 9:00am when you know people are picking up or returning UHauls. The mart does a great business and its hard to go out and check the equipment w/o help for customers.

The contract read mileage at check out 44560.1. Actual was 44631.8. I immediately called and reported error on my contract and took a picture of dash odometer be for leaving parking space. I also took a picture of dash odometer upon returning it. Web site says supplies of boxes to purchase when in fact they don't sell any but small size. I expected to pick up rental at PETRO but was told it is 1.2 miles down the road. Clerk kindly offered her daughter to take me there and I paid her $5. I was allowed to leave truck with key and dolly at PETRO upon return. I was greatful for that as I was on foot/bus. Web site needs to be updated for it is misleading not to indicate trucks not at PETRO station. Clerk at check in made me let other customers that were behind me go 1st. It caused me to miss my bus and wait 1 hr. more, and my paid movers were disturbed I was 20 min. late for them to help me move. Thank you.

There is only one person on staff and they are trained to help other customers before uhaul customers. Takes way too long to pick up a key. They should already have your things ready if you have a reservation.

Online the price was shown as 246 then in person was 376 and was told due to 100 deposit which I never got back and not shown on receipt.

Revoke this franchise operator. Had to hook trailer up w/out any assistance. Broken light. Failed to give me my pads. Franchisee left work and would not call me to help. Pulled into a company store in Eureka and they helped. Dirty and worse than poor. My like dangerous and you have now been warned!!!!!!!

Some U-hauls are not kept on site. I had chosen this location for it's proximity to my moving site. I had to drive to a separate lot to retrieve the truck. While I didn't have an issue driving to pick up the van, I would have liked to be warned in advance that I may have to drive to a separate location to retrieve the vehicle.

They said I agreed to drop the truck off , I did not. It was agreed to go to weaverville. The road is closed 299 so I had to drop it in willow creek. The woman I called was very rude and hung up on me. I would never darken her doorstep. What happened to customer service?
