We inquired whether we could return the trailer and switch from a one-way-trip to a round trip understanding that it could significantly change the cost. We received a flat no that the contract was nonnegotiable. We spoke with both the location that we were to deliver it to and to the San Bernardino head office, That returning the trailer was a 100% option. So we are not certain if the gentleman we spoke to is simply unaware of your policies or justtttttt I am going to leave it at the because we took multiple pictures to make sure things would remain honest and registered with you all at 11 pm so as to insure our reimbursement. The guy that hooked up the trailer latch the back and didn't bother telling me that it doesn't lock and so the door kept opening while we were driving and then it would get stuck open and we would have to reach our arms in to move the handle back out of the way to get the door back down. Luckily nothing fell out while we were driving When I called him he was very unconcerned

Was not told I was paying for insurance. I had a stressful day and I was trying to get home, to turn on equipment before it closes. This facility nevered offered the insurance I would of turned it down. But I was in a rush driving from barstow to Apple valley back to Barstow and then to burbank. Facility in Barstow did notify me about the insurance which I declined.

My original reservation was with Tile Gallery on Bear Valley Rd in Hesperia. The trailer was there but management was gone. I was told they would be back in a "few" minutes. They were in the process of moving their business and could not service their Uhaul customers. I canceled that reservation and found that the trailer I needed was available at KNR. They were great. I've rented from them before. A couple things I wasn't happy with we're that they would not refund money I spent on accessories. They would only exchange for something else. They said they weren't set up to refund money to customers. I also rented 2 bundles of blankets. Was told when I rented them that I wouldn't be charged if I didn't open one of the bundles of blankets. When I returned 1 package unopened I was told they don't do that and charged me for a bundle of blankets I did not use. They are very good but they don't do something that is a very basic business service. That is to refund customers for things they ended up not using or needing. Exchanging for other merchandise is not always acceptable. A Uhaul district manager was there at the counter when all of this was going down and did nothing to remedy the situation. Two unhappy memories in the middle of the rental experience. Couldn't make it a 5 star rating this time.

The manager/owner(?) was abrupt and lacked communication. The younger gentleman that initially helped was friendly. The cab of the truck was dirty, with parts coming off, and the truck was given to me with the tire pressure light on and the tires not filled properly. The breaks screeched the entire trip. I was charged over $200 for a 24 hour trip in a vehicle I feared I would have to do repairs on myself just to make it. I will never use this location again.

Truck cab dirty, sticky goop on floor mats, truck bed had broken glass, check engine light flashed randomly, guy who checked truck in at return time said I had gone over my 300 estimated miles but paper work shows I only drove 277 miles. Will not use this place again.

Unfortunately for MEA person that was helping us move. Stole the keys and drove the truck without permission and returned it to a different site. He emptied the majority of the trucks content. And I learned of these actions when I called U Haul to report the truck had been stolen. At that time I was charged for the entire amount that we had estimated plus $52.00 extra. At no time did I receive a receipt confirming the mileage and such. But the manager refuse to release the contents that were left in the truck until I paid for another day of possession of the truck, even though they had the truck and my property. I was also refused to take a look and a picture of the contents that were left behind , until I called Cory a general manager? Who had no problem in letting me look at the truck. It is my understanding that the person who stole the truck knew one of the employee s personally. And the truck held an oxygen generator that was needed by my roommate that died of respiratory failure, due to the lack off oxygen that was needed to breathe. The oxygen that was in the truck that the manager refused to release to me on the 9th of December 2016. Now I'm getting a abandoned and storage fee from your company. My brother Richard Villanueva managed the U Haul in Pasadena CA for a number of years. He was very proud of the company and was close to some of the U Haul family. It is very disappointing to see what changes the company is going through and not for the better

I believe $.99 a mile plus the gas is almost highway robbery. I think I'll buy a truck and rent it out a lot cheaper than your company does. Disgraceful

I was disappointed that I did not receive a truck with a full tank of gas. I did fill up the tantrum completely before I returned it.
