WORST moving experience ever! We were informed the evening before the schedule moved that the truck we reserved, a week in advance 5min away, was not available at the scheduled site. The only truck available was 45 minutes away from our location. With rush-hour traffic, it took over two hours to and from the pick up site. After an hour at the pick up site, we finally got a truck that was not cleaned or sanitized from the previous users. The movers, “Militarily Movers Assistancesâ€, which we hired through U-Haul, we're not only not military veterans, as we had expected, but were not professional movers and knew nothing about packing the truck properly. Outdoor metal furniture was packed on top of or next to indoor wood end tables which were damaged due to rubbing as we drove the truck. Furniture was not properly covered with moving blankets. Movers at our destination needed to be extra cautious unpacking, which took much longer than needed and an additional expense. As a result of all these issues with U-Haul we were given a $90 refund. This amount was less than adequate considering the two hour travel time to and from the pickup site did not pay for the gasoline used to pick up the truck or time and inconvenience. Again, WORST moving experience ever with U-Hual!

Location was not prepared to - or familiar with - managing U-Haul rentals. The associate was kind, but not trained. He interrupted my rental process multiple times to sell several customers cigarettes and other convenience items. Uhaul itself called us at the last minute informing us that our size truck was not available at the pick up location. Thus requiring us to drive FAR out of or way to pick up - AND to return the vehicle at this location - otherwise face a $100 in fees for returning to a location other than the original pick up location. Then - also charged us for two days of rental versus our requested one day. Still disputing those charges as well. Most of the bad experience is UHaul's fault at a corporate/systemic level. The lack of preparedness at the rental location was simply a rotten cherry on top of the pile.

The gentleman who helped me was great. When the other U-Haul location in town didn't have my truck ready and wasn't willing to help, corporate had me head here. He was very nice and helped me take care of everything (check-out and return) very efficiently.

Service was terrible. Rather than just process me after I waited in the line, the mini mart manager keep putting me behind every person that came in. Same thing happened upon my return. A normal pick up/drop off should take less than 5 minutes. This process was at least 15 minutes both times.

I did not appreciate dropping my Uhaul off at a head shop. And...the owner was waiting on everyone coming in to buy bongs and cigarettes even tho I was there first. He said he needed to wait on his customers first. It was very uncomfortable and felt unsafe.

The owner wore NO COVID-19 protection (facemask). NONE of his regular customers wore a facemask, nor did he require them to. He also had NO public restroom. His excuse is he would have to be always cleaning it.

The associate got my day wrong, my mileage was set at 46 miles. I wouldnt have made it to my deatination. He was acting as it he dint really care. I was disappointed in this locatio.

Everything was perfect! The agent was well prepared and professional. His location was recommended by the U-Haul agent on McKellips in Mesa who saved us a trip 50 miles away from our location. Both of these agents went out of their way to serve us.

The pickup was ridiculous, I had to go to three different locations to get the vehicle which was supposed to be ready by 8:00 am and it was after 10:00 am when I finally got the truck which was larger than I needed. I had a paid crew waiting on me and it cost me several hundred dollars in waiting time for the truck.

Rented 20' truck along with a dozen furniture pads and a hand truck. Upon pickup, pads and hand truck were missing. The store operator suggested picking them up at another location, so I tried, but only received 6 pads, and no dolly. Out of time, I went on my way and made do without.

I didn't like it because, when I look it up in the app and reserved said one price and when I went to pick it up was other different. Poor customer service! Never have such a bad experience with U-HAUL like this one. Very, very disappointed.

Sketchy location, disappointing customer service and an overall dread handing over my credit card information. Should have gone to a different location, yet needed to make this move today on a Sunday. Would never reccomend this location for anyone's moving needs.
