Well for the first part I would not make it cheaper if somebody returns a U-Haul when those U-Haul place is all over because I'm in a predicament right now where I'm stuck in Mesa which is 2 1/2 hours from where I live because I had to return the U-Haul just to be able to get it to where I only had to pay $400 instead of 700 I just wish I could've returned it home in Showlow because now I'm stuck in the heat and I have terminal cancer so I'm pretty much screwedMichele J.

Terrible customer service. Very non communicative and rude. I was originally supposed to pick up at a location near me, but uhaul switched me to this location, an hour from my place, the day beforehand. When I showed up to pick it up, they told me someone had it out and that I would have to wait for it to arrive.Allison S.

The truck was beyond filthy. The manager was extremely rude to the point he was screaming at me for wanting clarification on company policy. He tried to say I didn't put enough gas in for the return, luckily I had my gas receipt to show him I filled it to where it was last on the gauge before I picked it up. I left the dolly in the back of the truck and he told me to go get it and bring it to the front. He even over charged me and was extremely hostile, even said he would be glad to never have me as a customer again. Uhaul should drop this guySarah L.

Picked up this truck got to location to load loaded my whole house up in this truck sat down for a break and one of my movers noticed that one of the Dooley tires was completely shredded called about this and the solution was to unload the truck so they could come and put a new tire on it chose not to do that place of location for pick up was dirty he never looked at the truck to see if it was in good working order would never rent from this place again. The location was fine, if quite a bit out of our way. We were scheduled to pick up a trailer at a different location, but when we arrived, there was no one there and the doors to the building were locked. We waited for about half an hour before calling Uhaul to see what was up and were redirected to this location. The staff at the second location was very helpful.LESTER D.
The truck was very dirty on the inside with dirt and rocks. It has a very bad Alignment the steering wheel isn't straight while driving. And this was the 3rd location I was sent to because no other place has one as I was told over the phoneNicole M.
A U-Haul at a convenience store with one employee working is not a good thing. He was helpful but had to stop helping me in order to help regular store customers and so it took longer to get my tow dolley hooked up than it should have. Also the clerk seemed to have very little experience in working with tow dollys.MICHAEL G.

Was happy until I dropped off truck. How do you put a limit on miles when I moving state to state? Had to pay an extra 54 dollars because I went over the miles? Reason why I went with uhaul than budget was you were cheaper, but next time might go with them if your going to nickel and dime customers. I don't know who's fault it was. This place or Uhauls but i ordered a 15ft truck , was charged but instead got a 10ft truck. My pickup time was at 10pm and they would not release the truck to me. I had to drive 80 miles to return to the store the next morning. I didn't get to move all of my stuff due to the size of the truck. I feel like i should be reimbursed or something. This first part is not relevant to Pyramid: My original reservation was not available due to the negligence of the person who set it up as in-person even though they were not open. I was offered a $50 credit which was not sufficient to make up for the time lost, excess distance and gas I had to pay due to that error. Every U Haul experience I have is worse than the last. My previous trip the entire U Haul system was down. I think U Haul is aware that they don't have much competition so that allows for mediocre service. I am glad that I was able to get a truck last minute so I ended up at Pyramid. The equipment was okay but old and dingy. The person who helped me was quick and interaction was very straight forward which I do appreciate.Valeria V.

The location was great. But the experience I had with Uhaul was TERRIBLE!! The location changed their hours of operation and Uhaul gave me false information. As I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for someone to show up, It took me over 30 mins to get ahold of someone and 30 more minutes later the problem wasn't even resolved. 1 hour after me scheduled pickup time the owner of the location arrived and Uhaul still didn't help me!! As far as I am concerned I still would have been upset if the rental was free!! You guys need to get your crap straight!!Brandon R.

The owner does not follow COVID-19 protocol. No masks and I was the only one wearing one as customers came and went. Truck was dirty. I cleaned the steering wheel and rag was black. Overall I would not go into this store for any reason including a U- Haul rentalSam W.
The truck I was given was terrible. The ignition had to be jiggled before the key came out. It was hard to put it in gear. The tow? hauler feature made the engine roar to 5,000 RPG going downhill and I had to slow down to almost 10 miles and hour to get it to go back down to 2,500, the lever to to close down the back needed brute force to go down. WORST moving experience ever! We were informed the evening before the schedule moved that the truck we reserved, a week in advance 5min away, was not available at the scheduled site. The only truck available was 45 minutes away from our location. With rush-hour traffic, it took over two hours to and from the pick up site. After an hour at the pick up site, we finally got a truck that was not cleaned or sanitized from the previous users. The movers, â€œMilitarily Movers Assistancesâ€, which we hired through U-Haul, we're not only not military veterans, as we had expected, but were not professional movers and knew nothing about packing the truck properly. Outdoor metal furniture was packed on top of or next to indoor wood end tables which were damaged due to rubbing as we drove the truck. Furniture was not properly covered with moving blankets. Movers at our destination needed to be extra cautious unpacking, which took much longer than needed and an additional expense. As a result of all these issues with U-Haul we were given a $90 refund. This amount was less than adequate considering the two hour travel time to and from the pickup site did not pay for the gasoline used to pick up the truck or time and inconvenience. Again, WORST moving experience ever with U-Hual!HEIDI W.

Location was not prepared to - or familiar with - managing U-Haul rentals. The associate was kind, but not trained. He interrupted my rental process multiple times to sell several customers cigarettes and other convenience items. Uhaul itself called us at the last minute informing us that our size truck was not available at the pick up location. Thus requiring us to drive FAR out of or way to pick up - AND to return the vehicle at this location - otherwise face a $100 in fees for returning to a location other than the original pick up location. Then - also charged us for two days of rental versus our requested one day. Still disputing those charges as well. Most of the bad experience is UHaul's fault at a corporate/systemic level. The lack of preparedness at the rental location was simply a rotten cherry on top of the pile.Cisco V.
