I rent from this Uhaul location at least once a month for the past few years now, so I am a regular at how the whole system operates. The last two months (Feb and March) I was given the same truck (EL 2869M) a 17' truck, which we had a problem with the cargo light in the container—it would not stay on for more than about 5 minutes and then shut off. Since we always rent the trucks about 5:30pm, it is usually dark by the time we go to load it up, and the cargo light not working was not only annoying but it was unsafe. I reported the issue after we returned the truck in Feb, and I was issued a credit after I called to report the problem we had, and on March 11th, we were issued the same exact truck and had the same exact problem with the cargo light. I've called into the call center a couple times and finally had a manager or somebody from the Anaheim location call me yesterday. I didn't catch his name, but he said he was going to check on the cargo light and call me back, I have not heard from anybody since. I know how the cargo light knob works inside the cab, since I've been renting these trucks for years now, and the timer on it simply was not working. I didn't tamper with the light itself in the cargo box as I didn't want to potentially damage anything, but I did have to run back into the cab numerous times as we were loading both months in the dark to turn the light back on so we could see what we were doing for a few minutes at a time. I really hate to have to take the time to stop and complain about such things, but since we do rely on these trucks and the service Uhaul offers, I feel it necessary as we don't get stuck with the same reoccurring issue every single month. We were credited back the rental fee last month, which I felt was fair, and I do think that would also be fair for this month since we dealt with the same exact issue that we reported on a month prior. Rented truck and tow dolly. Took dolly back 1st night but kept truck. Was charged for dolly even tho they had it and rented to someone else AND i got charged for a ball and mount nobody told me about. Its there truck and trailer and it dosent come with a ball mount?! $300 00 turned in to $ 650.00!!!!

The Rug Doctor unit I rented was filthy, but in working order. I would have been helpful if the employee had some idea how the machine worked, otherbthan pointing to the written tags on the machine, which were hard to read. I do like this location, and have rented a truck here previously. Staff is always fairly helpful, however, prices quoted on the phone are always at least 10-20$ less than when you get to the store, so make sure you keep that in mind when renting there. Overall, easy in easy out, fast service.

A bigger lot? Very busy place, and not enough vehicles, or utility dollies to go around! Great people there. Very efficient. Friendly. This is the 3rd time we've rented from this location. Unfortunately, I'm now 12 miles from them. I'll have to hope that the closer U-Haul will be as great. Thank you!

The manager at the Anaheim location was extremely helpful. Outstanding customer service. Only one issue I have is with the Yorba Linda location where I was told to drop it off. They refused to take the trailer. The manager at the Anaheim location, made it right for me. Thanks

February 18th 2017 I purchase a truck to rent. The gentleman was very gracious made it very painless even though I switch from a smaller size to a bigger size. I also purchased two boxes. Upon leaving I notice I had not receive my boxes so when I turn the truck in the next day the gentleman there was very very rude after I told him I did not receive my boxes. He insinuated he needed to check the cameras and could not return my money back and suggested that I speak to management and or come back. Because management was not available I would have had to come back and he left. His tone was very abrasive. I spoke with another customer who notice these actions and we both were appalled that it would even be suggested that I would have to be subjected to scrutiny regarding two boxes I never did receive. In the end he finally did refund the money but he needs to be schooled about how not to discriminate against people. That happened the morning of February 19th, 2017 approximately at 10 o'clock a.m. .

Please have more equipment available especially when a reservation was made a week in advance in addition guaranteed that I would have my equipment by the representative over the phone. If my request for a van could not be made I would have loved to received a call the night before for a different pick up location that would have had a truck. Although I was compensated with more mileage it was still a inconvenience to go 17 miles away from my home to pick up a van that was NOT available. Eddie was an awesome associate that knew how to keep a touchy situation under control. Great job!

Eddie was so extremely helpful when my lights were not working for the trailer they just hooked up. I was very worried that it would cost me more money to fix it, but Eddie was able to correct the problem and said it would not happen to me again. It was not just the fuse. I had the light connections installed at a Uhaul but it had been over 2 years ago so the warranty was over. A huge thank you to Eddie for the great customer service!!! He is definitely a keeper and efficient employee.

I had to return a van because it smelt so bad. The second vehicle they gave me was not much better. Customer service was great, but I still would have appreciated renting a van that didn't smell so bad inside.
