Rented from this location many times always a good experience good equipment good service
I had a trailer hitch installed at this location before our trip. Need to ensure that when special bolts or a bolt kit is required to install a hitch on a particular model car (Toyota RAV4) that the bolts or bolt kit is provided with the hitch. They had the hitch but didn't have the bolts to mount it when I showed up on my appointment to have the hitch installed and had to go back to get the hitch installed after they ordered a new hitch.
This truck was filthy, it was blocked in and took hours to get it out of the parking lot. Nobody at the company would call back. The truck had copious amounts of concrete remnants all in the back, on the steps and the ramp was completely covered in it. The inside of the cab was filthy and the ashtray was full of cigarette butts. This truck, in this condition, leads me to believe it was not COVID-19 sanitized and sent out this way. The local manager gave a $100 refund, telling customer care he emailed and called us but did neither. We contacted him through customer care and that was the first time we heard from him. This entire trip should be refunded. In the end we ended up with a flat and two tires required changing as well before we could finish our move and unload our truck. Here is the refund email and the only information ever from the store: Reference Number: 3002625 Customer Information: April Gibson firstname.lastname@example.org Refund Type: CreditCard ending in --3178 Once approved, U-Haul immediately issues and processes debit and credit card refunds. Federal regulations allow banks up to five days to process refund requests. Credit processing delays are caused when the Customer's issuing bank takes advantage of this regulation. Amount of Refund: 100 Issued by: Daniel Sommers, U-Haul Moving Center General Manager Approved Date: Daniel could not tell us why the truck was blocked in, he could not tell us if the truck had been sanitized and never called us back with answers. I asked to talk to a regional manager and that never happened either.
We rented a trailer and was told it was cheaper to bring it back to the store in Amarillo. We pulled it to Lufkin Texas and could have turned it in the very same day. We had to haul it back all the way to Amarillo. Makes absolutely no sense when a trailer is 19.95 for a day and we had to pay 137.00 plus dollars. This makes absolutely no sense!!!
The person who was assisting me with the rental was not friendly and he seemed put out because it was "shift change".
Keep the loading and packing team that helped me they were great.
Same comment as pick up location. Fast. All I can say is thank you for the great service. My third time returning here since 2017. Great service, great personnel. No improvement necessary.

Mgr Dan & Ian were fantastic, professional and very helpful, U-Haul is so lucky to have them on their team. This location is a breath of fresh air compared to the disappointing experience I had earlier that morning at U-haul location at 6th St. The worse customer service by female Mgr. Katina.. no people skills watsover that I left that location after waiting over 30 minutes for nothing, and ended up at Canyon Dr location.

Used this place 2 times. Only problem was 1st time they didn't have part for hitch and didn't let me know ahead of time so I had to go buy it somewhere myself. The 2nd time we used this location, we dealt with Layne. He was excellent and everything went well.
Staff were patient while I worked through things with Matthew at Moscow location. They helped us finalize billing and gave a receipt.
Reservation was for location on sw 6th, when I arrived for pickup they sent me to another location. Could have notified me in advance of the switch. Sweep out trailers before next rental Had to deal with excessive firewood debris.
No problems whatsoever
Make sure to complete a pre-inspection prior to leaving the lot. I was charged 18 miles over due to the incorrect speedometer reading. The store reported less miles than the speedometer noted. Lesson learned so I wanted to pass this recommendation to prevent the same experience.
Our experience was excellent. There is no need for improvement.
I think right now during a pandemic, I think there needs to be more cleaning done to the trucks like disinfecting the seats and steering wheels. When I received the truck I wiped down the seats and steering wheel before I drive it off the lot and it was really dirty.

Was told it would be available at 12. It wasn't and when I was on my way to pick it up they said 4. I went ahead and rented a smaller size which took me longer to finish moving and so I had to extend my reservation for 2 more days since I wasn't given the bigger uhaul that was on my first reservation.
