At the suggestion of your representative at your Sarasota (830063) drop off location, I am writing to explain my displeasure with your Uhaul Servies and the way that I was recently treated by your representatives. First, let me commend those working at your Sarasota location. They were professional and helpful. I cannot thank them enough. However, I cannot say the same for your location located at 598 W HWY 436 in Altamonte Springs, FL. Store Number 829070. Prior to the events that occurred this past week, I had spent a total of $415.33 with this particular Uhaul location, including a van rental which I was billed for on January 29, 2018 in the amount of $223.16. On Thursday, February 8 I went to the location to confirm my truck rental for Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 7am. When I arrived, they said that my reservation was for 10am. I showed them the documentation that stated otherwise and they told me that I must have changed it or someone changed it for me. Not the case. They then said that they wiuld not have the 20' truck that I requested and that the truck would not be delivered to their pick-up location and I would be re-routed to a different office. I was more than slightly confused due to your $50 reservation guarantee. According to your site, when you make a truck or trailer reservation, Uhaul guarantees to provide you with the equipment size, location, and pick up time as agreed. Should I not receive the equipment size, location, and pick up time you agreed to, U-Haul will compensate you $50. Neither my size, location, or time was accurate. When I asked about the guarantee, the representative said there was no such thing. I can provide the link to the Uhaul website if it's needed, but there is definitely a guarantee. I was told to contact the location on Friday for an update. On Friday I received a notification that my truck was going to be available to me at a location that I had never even heard about before. I could not re-route my ride to drop me off to get the truck, so I called the Uhaul location referenced above. They stated that they would call and reroute my truck to the correct location. When I arrived on Saturday, everything about the staff members there screamed that they did not want to be there. When filling out the paperwork I was told I needed a second phone number. I gave them my work number. They said that they needed a second number that they could call and somebody who would pick up for confirmation. I was alone. Was I supposed to wake somebody up at 7am for this? So I had my ride who dropped me off come back to give them her phone number and show them the confirmation. I asked why this was happening and the representative said it was their policy. I had just rented the van two weeks prior and there was no such policy. But I was talked down to like I was some child. There's a green dolly on the truck that I did not use. There's a green tab that holds the dolly to a metal clamp. The green tab broke due to the weight on top of it. There was a large heavy green bag on top of it that I believe broke the tab during transportation of the vehicle. Maybe use bigger/stronger tab for this. Thanks, Devin

Ask for the secondary number and the references before the customer actually gets to the store, when they register online. It would save time as well as allow for any issues that could come up to be resolved. (I would have been extremely upset had I driven there and then not be able to get the truck do to this process).

I told the person who made my reservation what I was getting at Costco and if the vehicle he was reserving for me if it was big enough. He said it would fit. Unfortunately it did not and caused an extra trip to get the items home. I was very frustrated with the fact that he was wrong.

The haul smelled bad and was difficult to operate the haul storage door. I returned at same amount of gas when picked up, now I have extra charges and a marking showing gas below what I left. Not the first time this has happened.

You imply low cost but after i went to the seminole dump to throw out my 2 sofas I rec'd a $75 bill. Plus my $10 in gas. You guys dont help the locals or make it affordable. So fustrating.
