You need more staff at this location. Also my trucks check engine light was on and the front right wheel was shaking. Come on!!
The truck I really wanted (and reserved) wasn't available, but Chris made a really big effort to help me get a truck to use. He really exceeded expectations.
The only thing I had an issue with was that the graphics on how to enter the store, where to stand, who to talk to, and similar was unclear. In this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, it would be helpful to improve the directional signage and put in some circles to promote social distancing.
Last minute pickup all done with no problems. Note reservations is lost they did not recognize this location and called 4 hours later offering a trailer

The employee who worked on Wed 6/24/2020 between the hours of 8am-2pm was a complete jerk. He gave got miss information be stating that your company only accepts credit cards & not debt cards as well. Then he proceed to explain that I need a $100 cash deposit to rent a U-haul truck. He was VERY INCOMPETENT & needs more training on his role. When I returned the vehicle after 5pm the two employees working that shift (a man & woman) were polite, friendly and very knowledgeable.
first time i rented a 4 x 9 (its called a motorcycle trailer). The guys were super helpful - i was renting trailer.
Your online service is absolutely horrendous. I reserved a 15' truck in June 10 for my move date of June 27. Online said there was a truck available. I did the online check in the day before and everything looked good. When I arrive to pick up my truck at 10am there isn't a truck available. I had people coming to help me move at 11am and yet the truck I reserved two weeks in advanced was not there. I was livid and unfortunately let me my emotions get the best of me and took it out on the kid that was working. I apologized to him knowing it probably wasn't his fault. He went and got the manager who tried to make things better by offering me a $50 rebate but when I looked at me receipt there was no rebate from the original charge. 45 minutes later a truck rolls into the parking lot that is the size I need but the manager says I can only have that one if I return it by 4:30. I originally stated when I reserved the truck that I could return it by 6pm so I had to speed run my move. Next time I will gladly pay a little extra and use Ryder. You guys have a lot of work to do with your online system and the communication between your local branches. I want you to imagine what it would feel like that on the day you have to move out of your apartment there isn't a truck available even though you reserved one two weeks in advanced. This experience will never leave me. And if there's ever a conversation between friends about â€œmovingâ€ this story will get shared every time. I'm sorry. But I was not happy.
I rented a van on Friday evening (7pm) to pick up supplies early Saturday morning before the U-Haul location opened. The office person asked me if I would be returning the vehicle at 11am; however, when I called the office on the phone prior to arriving at the location on Friday evening I was told I could have the vehicle for 24 hours, which would have meant I could have the van until 6pm on Saturday. However, at 9pm Friday evening I received a text message from U-Haul that said my rental was for 15 hours and my return time was 11am. As a result, I took care of part of the reason I rented the van then had to return it by 11am. Later that day I had to use my personal vehicle to carry a pre-hung door in it, which, if I had had the van would have been much easier to load and unload. I'm not happy about this rental period issue. The office person should have clearly stated what the rental period was so i could make an informed decision. If I had known I had to return the van by 11am I would have reserved it for Saturday morning so I could have it all day. Instead, I was paying for having the van in my driveway overnight. There's one other matter that concerns me regarding the U-Haul van I rented. I only drove 44 miles, almost all on light traffic highway (60-70 mph) and it took a little over 6 gallons to refill before returning the van. That's less than 8 mpg!!!! Where does U-Haul buy these gas guzzling vehicles?? Does U-Haul care about the fuel requirements and the environmental consequences of the vehicles they purchase? I'm shocked by this.
Increase the staff.
I don't know how busy the store usually is but it seemed understaffed, customers waited to be attended. It seemed like only 1 person was doing everything. I only seen one employee at the store.
get the person at checking van in so they take care of you rather than wait for 20 plus minutes
The people here are ready and willing to help.
The employees were lackadaisical and didn't seem to care.
No one, not the employees, not the customers, were wearing masks.
The over rates for the U-Haul experience is excellent except for three factors one is that the truck that I reserved was not available I was given a replacement. 2. I was not credit the $50 reservation guarantee to my account 3. The truck that was given to me was dirty

Long lines, slow service.
I only needed the van for two hours. Took me 45 minutes to a) try using the app to start the rental process, b) wait in line to talk to a human inside the store instead, and c) finally untangle what was happening with my reservation, and d) go back and get the furniture dolly I had "reserved" since no one had one ready for me. HUGE waste of time, very frustrating, and my reservation was not automatically extended. Dimensions are inaccurate for the cargo vans. Should specify the height of the wheel wells, and the true interior dimensions. I ended up needing to disassemble the piece of furniture I was moving because the reported dimensions on the website were inaccurate. I won't be using U-Haul again.

The employees are not wearing masks and are not even trying to social distance from customers. I watched one employee stand within 2 feet of a customer, not wearing a mask, to load a box into her car. This U-Haul location is a great place to get infected with COVID-19. STAY AWAY!!!
