Need less rude workers who will explain better when it is your first time using them. Also when told there will be a flat fee for trailer and no charge for miles then it is nice to have the company stick to that and not charged when told other wise. Unfortunately I will not recommend this place for anyone unless these issues are taken care of.

I dropped off and there was a long line. They offered customers to leave the vehicles at the drop-off location (queue) and receive an email receipt. It’s now many hours later and I still have no receipt.

Advise customers in advance if you are unable to meet some portion of the reservation. In our case, the local U-Haul location said it was not able to provide the furniture dolly we had reserved online, because it simply did not rent them any more. If that were true, why does the online system allow us to "reserve" one, and why did the local office not call ahead to let us know that we would not have a dolly waiting for us? All worked out in the end; location did have some in stock that it was willing to SELL for no more than we would have paid to rent. But the underlying problem still remains: if you cannot meet a customer's reservation in full, you ought to tell him so BEFORE he arrives to pick up something you do not intend to provide.

.Rotten experience at the san mateo store . I spoke with erik who argued about the pick up time I asked to have the truck until 4pm he told me customer service rep was wrong and i had to have the truck back by 3pm because the truck was rented for a 3pm pick up later when i brought the truck back early be was even ruder complained about the up charges He charged me an extra $24.00 and said the gas wasn't quite where it should be 3/4 of a tank and charges me $ 7.00 told him erik i wanted my $31.00 back ,Erik told me with more attitude that wasnt going to happen and basically dismissed me. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE SAN MATEO STORE. and using u-haul again is unlikely

The people we're not knowledgeable we wanted coverage for the clearance of the vehicle and they sold us coverage that didn't even cover that then they couldnt figure out how to take it off before we left then he said oh don't worry you won't be charged for it but weve still been charged for it and we did the U-Haul online reservation at the Eubank location only to find out that the store that could accommodate us was San Mateo so they changed it without telling us that we were going to have to go to an alternate location so we showed up at Eubank only to find out that our reservation had been moved without them telling us. Horrible experience. However the moving company we hired through you with excellent but they are not affiliated with you so you can't even take any credit
