I came to the store and I had a 12:30 p.m. reservation and when I got there, it was no associate at the desk for like 45 minutes. I was finally called to the desk and come to find out they gave my truck to a lady named Stacy smith and was asked did I know her. Long story short I had to get the biggest truck you guys had for a 2bedroom apartment. This store is very unorganized.

Please ensure that on a Friday, most likely Your conlany’s second busiest day, to have more than One worker assisting the customers. My farther and I arrived and waited approximately 32 ministers Just to be seen to pick up my reservation. That out a Very sour taste on both efficiency and customer service. My daily job is to recommend best businesses to clients and employees in Albany and surrounding cities and this was a huge denote!!

The worst experience I ever had with using them to move; first I was given a busted up truck and once turned back in was told that I had to pay the damage to the truck. They had to call to the pick location before being told the truck was busted up when I got it, second, the gas gauge did not work could not put gas in the truck had to keep stopping and adding gas, and finally, I was told did not clean the truck enough. The worst experience!!

Contract # 90531742 The trailer (6'x12' enclosed) I was pulling on Sat., 7/14/18, became disconnected. I was traveling along Moultrie Rd. toward Albany, GA at 55 mph. when it disconnected. Fortunately, no damages or injury to any person or property. It was a very hazordous incident because the trailer was swerving from left to right as I was trying to slow down gradually. The safety chains remained connected but I do not know if the trailer brake worked. Each time I braked my truck the trailer jerked against the trailer hitch when it moved forward and the chains pulled tight to help slow the trailer's speed. I am thankful that there was not any oncoming traffic that could've collided with trailer when it was swerving and no vehicle in front of me that could've required me to brake continually causing complications with trailer. The one vehicle behind me braked to distance themselves from trailer. A good sumaritan helped me reconnect trailer and I properly tightened it onto the ball on hitch. I believe that the trailer was not completely tightened enough when I received it on Sat. early morning. The angle of the trailer to the truck hitch, due to parking lot heigth levels, made it difficult to completely tighten the trailer onto truck hitch. So, a trailer needs to be double checked under these circumstances. Also, the trailer brakes need to be checked to make sure they work. The trailer hitch fastener needs to be greased. The trailer hitch move on the truck hitch each time I stopped or accelerated at traffic lights and stop signs. Stephen Parker

only concern was that the rear view mirrors weren't tight enough to maintain the set from the beginning of each trip to its end. The vibration of the vehicle on the road made them drift downward creating a hazard for being able to see cars in the passing lanes. Otherwise, no specific problems noted. Cordial staff.

I rented a van and while moving my items out of the storage unit I went inside and asked to rent a dolly to move my heavy appliances with. The guy in the store told me there were no dollies I could rent. He said he had called other stores around and no one had an available dolly. Well not even 30 minutes later an employee was seen pushing a dolly through the parking lot. So no I would not ever recommend this location again. The customer service was the worst I have ever experienced at any uhaul establishment.

Inform your customers that an extra $100 is needed if you book online and want to use cash at pickup. I was late moving my things and lost a day of work because of it. Very unhappy I had to drive and wait for my bank to open, then drive back and wait an extra hour because there was only two people working. Then they forgot my dolly. Just a mess. I forgive the service, but honestly very hesitant to come back.

We had a return time of 8:00am. Had to stand in line for several minutes so our return time was stamped as 8:28am and we were charged an extra day. This is very poor business practice.

Only thing I see needing improvement is answering the phone. I called 3 times to try to inform tour teammates that I was going to be about an hour behind. I was on hold for at least 10 minutes each time I tried to called. I have policy in store that the phone is answered in 3 rings or less. At least pick up the phone, take number, and call that person right back ASAP. Don’t leave people on hold. Other than that everything else was great!
