The location I rented from was inexperienced. My drop off location wasn't saved so it caused a serious delay. The rental location was a gas station and the man did not know what he was doing for the rental. There was a language barrier and it made the experience even more frustrating. Normal I have a better experience with Uhaul, but today was just very unpleasant.

Rented a truck a couple hours before close was asked to return truck by 9 (2 hours after close). Took a little longer than expected and truck was returned at 9:40, and though not even an hour late was charged a full extra day.

The reps at this location isn't very knowledgeable. Unpleasant attitudes. I registered online to save me time, but when I arrived I had to wait for the rep to return from somewhere. Seems he had a attitude and never acknowledged nor apologize for having me wait. Overall, I still had to register on site, and when I asked about the pre registration he said something under his breath, so I just let it be since me pre- registering was pointless. Finally received a uhaul and it act like it didn't wanna start. I just figured that it was cold and had not been started in a while. My mistake for assuming because it did that every time I turned it off and started back up with a few tries to get it started. After getting home and loaded up my belongings the gate would not close all the way. Well, lucky for me I rented the uhaul for 5 hours so I have time to play with the rear gate. After several tries and now pressed for time. I managed to go through the packed uhaul and found a extension cord to tie the door to the bumper and hoped that it would hold up till I get to my new home. Well, the extension cord held up great and driving 20 miles per hour. Needless to say I had to invest in a new extension cord. Upon returning the uhaul the rep stated that I owed 80 plus dollars. When I inquired why, he said that I have a balance due. Oddly, when I picked up the uhaul I paid $70 something dollars. Now I'm in a panic over an additional $80. I asked again why I owe an additional $80, and he said for milage. I know for a fact that I didn't travel 80 dollars in miles. Another unpleasant rep cleared up the inaccurate information I had just received. I owed $7 and change. I planned to tell the men about the issues on the truck but the extra $80 fee made me loose track and I simply forgot to mention it. I returned the uhaul late because the truck just had issues. I know things happen and moving can be a stressful experience. It would be helpful to have your reps smile, have a up beat tone to their voice and so on. I know this is their work place, but the added sarcasim, impolite, and inconsiderate of peoples time is just plain rude. Never will I visit this location. This has become a matter for the Better Business Bureau.

I have used this location numerous of times and prefer this location for me needs. The customer service always was great unfortunately this will be last time. I received a filthy cargo van. I turned on the air conditioner the dirt and pollen burst out. It was dusty, lottery tickets, wooden back scratcher, and paper on floor. I returned back into the and spoke with the same associate about me issues he said oh maybe someone went down a dirt road and that will happen. He also expressed that the van had been there since he started, but he will take a look. He disregarded the filthy inside came back with the keys and said he let the air conditioner blow it should be fine now. I asked for a different cargo van that was cleaned but he didn't want to the hassle of changing to satsify a customer I assur

First of all I hired professional movers to assist and even they were discussed at the condition of the truck. It was stained with red mud in the inside so I had to spend 30 minutes of their paid time cleaning so my furniture would not get stained. Secondly I was charged for two days because the clerk receipt the truck in 12hour later AND I used less than 50% of the estimates miles purchased and was not credited for that as well. Been waiting on manager to call back for two days now.

Teach your employees customer service. Had to wait over an hour to process truck. After truck process I had to wait another thirty minutes because employee to key to truck with him.

The issue was more applicable to your Colombus Ga. Answering service. The day of the rental pickup, I called ahead of time to check if the trailer I ordered was there because it was not the prior day. I spoke with Audie who said it would be there the next day. So I didn't realize that when I called. I was not actually speaking with an employee at the Albany location. But that woman pretended to be at Albany and said to me, "yep, I see that's here". So i hung up satisfied all was well. Then I got a call about maybe 45 minutes later from: 7065693372 UHC of southern GA. and a woman told me I had to pick up the trailer at a different store at this non-existant Uhaul location - Uhaul - 922 w broad ave. "Fresh start auto " at this disconnected phone number - 2294397858. I told her what the prior uhaul person told me; that the trailer was there. She said nothing. I wasted about 40 minutes trying to find this bogus uhaul dealer. I then called uhaul and was at that point angry. The person said she'd have the Albany store mgr call me immediately. They did not, so I drove back to the dealer where I had reserved the trailer, livid mad at that point and they told me the trailer was there. So the guy taking my info. Didn't use the original reservation that I made on the internet, but asked me all the questions all over again. What's the point of entering all that on the web if I have to state it all over again? So, i got the trailer about an hour and fifteen minutes late after driving on a wild goose chase. Then today I got a phone message from UHC telling me that my reservation had been cancelled. That's after I've already returned the trailer to Savannah Ga. So, now I'm wondering if you all having created two orders are going to charge me some kind of no-show fee for this other order that was not fulfilled properly by the Albany store. Over the years I've had so many bad experiences with your company, it's amazing to me that you can maintain a near monopoly, otherwise if any other company competed with you, I'd surely do business with them.

Customer service was horrible. They said there was know trucks available, I went to the center and low and behold there where trucks available. The communication is broken with uhaul. And then I got a revervation and then I went to the center and the trailer that I wanted wasn’t there.

The mileage and the gas level was not accurate as indicated on the paper work, the driver’s and passenger seats had dried blood in them that I clean out. I didn’t get a walk around the truck for damages or nothing. I didn’t sign any paperwork like had at previous rentals, not a big deal.

The paper had the gas was at 1/4 but it wasn't it was almost on empty. I took pictures of it from the time I picked the truck up on ogelthorpe and drove the truck to eastside Wal-Mart and it was running out of gas. They didn't have us inspect the truck nor ask about insurance. When I went back to get the balance on the truck they refused to credit me for the gas they claim they had in it. I have always used this place As they have record of it and never had a problem with them until now. I will definitely not use this location again. Very poor service. Make sure you check the gas and dispute it if its not right.
