Associates could be friendlier . When i picked up the truck the two people behind the counter were mid conversation . They finished before they acknowledged me . I worked over 30 years in customer service . They need to acknowledge the customer as soon as they enter . The woman that was there when i dropped off was not overly friendly either . The truck was good , rate was good , service just average or a bit below .

Plenty of people on staff when I picked up the van. A good mood. Returning the van = only two folks there and they were slammed. But the clerk found my left GPS, so can't complain too much. Van was fine for summer = older tires/no snow tires which are de rigeur for Ohio winters = had some problems on slopes and driveways. Expensive compared to the competition, but the competition was out of trucks so U-Haul got my business. Not my first choice for a rental in the future, but would rent again if pressed.

Don’t charge people for equipment they didn’t want or request. Fortunately they refunded it but it took quite a while to be fixed

The van i rented smelled SOOOO bad we had to ride with the windows down and it was somewhat chilly. In fact the odor that was coming out of the vents may have cause ,e to suffer some kind of virus. I t smelled THAT bad

Maybe you could contact the renter and tell him that the truck is not at his “preferred “ location but another location 20 minutes away. While I sat at my “preferred “ pick up point trying to figure out where my truck was because my “preferred “ pickup location was closed. Regardless of what your records show, I did not receive a “text” message from uhaul telling me of my “new “ pickup location. I did receive an email on Friday to confirm my pickup for Saturday which I did call to confirm. Nowhere in the email or the phone call was I told my pickup location had changed-(you record them - listen) the only clue that I got was that 15 miles had been added. A very bad experience.

When cust due back at 2..give time.in between reservations..it was rude to call me 2 times at 2:06 & 2:11 stressing another cust needs truck at 2...other than that no issues

Said we would need the truck for “approximately “ 5 hours. We were called 20 minutes prior to our 5 hours telling us we had to have it back by 3 because someone was waiting on the truck. Are you kidding me??? Maybe you should get more trucks so you don’t have to have people waiting on you to return the truck. Felt that was very rude. Will never rent there again.

Staff was quite helpful and went above and beyond to deal with me. Process was easy and without issue. The trailer I used was clean, but did have rust on it,which was not a problem, but didn't look that good.

Two leads of the auto transport trailers wiring harness were sliced completely through. Had I not taken time to inspect, I would have been pulling it with no lights. Nomar promised that he would only bill one day so long as trailer was returned before they opened on Saturday morning. Trailer was back but they still billed for 2 days. John is a very poor manager. He would rather argue than do what is right.

The service center I originally reserved moved me to this center, I believe there was a reservation/online problem. That is 100% understandable, especially because I understand logistics and I don't want anyone to loose their job/ suffer for that. It was only a 2 mile difference. The problem was I reserved 2 furniture dollys and the facility I was moved to had none. I had no problem moving facilities as it was honestly not a far distance, but they couldn't get ahold of my original facility so I had no dollys. I was not charged for them, which is a great business practice, but I would have preferred to have them, and gladly would have paid for them, to move my furniture that was extremely heavy,

The rental we got on Monday 10/2 to finish up moving the last minute items the battery died. We had to wait for a friend with jumper cables, I called the road side assistance number and was on hold forever, never did talk to an actual person. I finally went online and filed that claim. By the time anyone called us we had gotten it running. This took up an hour of my time when I would have been done. I think there should be some type of compensation for customers who experience issues like this.
