The location was convenient and the truck was clean enough. The employee who checked me in had her mask below her nose which makes in totally ineffective. She was also less than optimal in her customer service skills. It would have been a really nice touch if perhaps someone had scraped the snow and frost from the windshield before I took possession of the vehicle for the day since there was no scraper in the vehicle.
I have to say the best part is the people there made it easy. Moveing is hard enough, they made it a little easier
Quick and easy. Great price for the day!! Thank you for being available to get my daughter moved. It was a 15'. My daughter is 22 and EAGER to drive that monster truck. She backed it up 2 driveways with complete ease. Haaaaaaaaa
The store ladies were awesome. Uhaul... AWFUL!!! I HATE UHAUL! Reservations are NEVER CORRECT!!!! I am constantly overcharged. Just a terrible company!!
My reservation was for 7:00am which is the time the store opens. I would expect the employee to be there in time to open. I was there at 7:00 along with another customer. We waited until 7:20 for someone to show up and open. He never apologized for being late. He also did not seem to be very experienced with the computer. I have been renting a U-Haul van for work monthly from this location since 2014. When I first began renting the store had a manager that was fantastic. She was very personable, had the van ready (running and windows cleaned off if it was winter), and the equipment was clean. She was following by another manager who was nice but the equipment was not kept as clean. Now there is another manager and this location has continued to go downhill. My next rental will be at Enterprise.
The equipment worked fine, but I would not say it was clean and well maintained. It had some wear on it. But like I said, it definitely did its job. And the service person I dealt with was exceptional!
Christine & the her team is great! While not the closest U-Haul to me, I will gladly pay the extra (in mileage) to rent & store at this location. I can not say enough positive and have told people to pick this location & shared my experience at others.

I literally said I never received my furniture pads, but it says on my invoice they were given. Was never contacted by U-Haul when they said they would contact me.
The mobile check in and return is cumbersome.
The only improvement and reason I won't use UHaul again until I am able to get a vaccination against COVID-19 is that one female associate behind plexiglas was not masked. I thought Summit County had a mask order. If it had been my turn to go to her, I would have told her politely that I am in a risk category and would prefer to be helped by a masked associate. Other than that very bad mark against the experience, it was great.
Personnel onsite were rude and dismissive, worst customer service I think I have ever experienced.
Called 3 days prior to drop off to change my location. The cust serv rep told me : There will be np for you to drop off the truck here Me: Don't you have to edit anything? I'm dropping off the truck after business hours. CSR: Nope. Don't worry. We got you! Me: Thanks a lot When I dropped off the truck. Had to call support - waiting time 40. Minutes- because someone had to edit the drop off location. Btw get a bigger carp there's no way to cover yourself from the rain when dropping after business hours

First of all the two women working were more concerned with themselves than with me and the girl that checked me in was very snippy. The truck was i was given had steering issues. At first I thought it was because he truck was empty, but the steering continued to be very loose and all over the road. A tire blew on the truck thankful right as I pulled up to unload. When I went back to get another truck after the tire was changed, the girl at the counter wasn't wearing a mask at all, so I took mine off. Then I am told I will be charged full price for the delay and the stress of my day moving.
The truck I had showed a wrench on the dashboard display a couple miles after I left the lot. I tried to call back to the store but was unable to reach the location so I just turned back around. Thankfully I was able to get another truck quickly but being able to talk to a person before I drove back to the store would have been great.
I had to come from Fountain St up to Tallmadge Ave to get a truck because Fountain St didn't have the truck that I reserved. That, first off, was unacceptable. The truck I reserved should been have been available. There was no one inside the building when I went in at Tallmadge Ave. and I waited almost 30 minutes to finally get help. Then the employee that finally helped me, was snippy with me because Fountain St didn't transfer my reservation to Tallmadge Ave, which is no way my fault. THEN, I got charged $8 for gas when the gas tank was on a half of tank when I got it and it was slightly over a half tank when I brought it back but the paper said it had 1/16 of a tank. The mileage was slightly over on the paper than what was actually on the truck. I tried to upload the mileage and fuel levels and it wouldn't let me do it. The employees need to do a better job of making sure of the mileage and fuel before they put it on the paper, ie, literally check it before it's put on the paper, go outside and check it before they hand over the key. Then I couldn't close out my unit because my name wasn't on it, but I'm the one who paid it for 5 years. I was very, very disappointed in Uhaul over this situation. I doubt that I will personally use Uhaul ever again.
