I didn’t know of all the extra moving equipment, components, kits, blankets, etc. until I went in the store. Thought that might like to add that in your next commercial.

The tow dolly had a tail light that worked intermittently and the retaining pin for one of the ramps did not keep the ramp in place, resulting in the ramp falling out while on the road. I had to wire it back in place. The tow dolly was not properly maintained in my opinion and should not have been available to rent. For some reason, the printer was not available to print my rental contract when I checked out and I had to resubmit all my information at the counter after I had entered it all on line. Not a very efficient check out procedure. The agent who checked us out was friendly and very knowledgeable. None of this was her fault.

This location could use a new printer. Everything was hand written. My reservation was cancelled without informing me, so when i got to the location the truck was not ready. Also was told there was a 1/4 a tank of gas in truck, but only about 1/8 of a tank was in the truck. Had much better service at other locations.

The storage was excellent, clean, well kept. The U Haul 15' truck I rented had a crack i in the windshield, and something was wrong with the computer or EFI, resulting in me getting about 5 or 6 miles per gallon for the first half of my trip. Very disappointing to spend an extra $70 in gas for a trip under 400 miles. Thankfully, whatever was controlling the gas output corrected itself at the halfway point when we stopped for more fuel.

Upon returning the Uhaul that I rented on 12/14/19, when I walked into the store there wasn’t a single employee to be found and there was a line with a couple and and lady in front of me. They had been waiting a while before I came in and I waited for about 6 or 7 min before an employee finally came back in. The employee (a middle aged white woman) came rushing back in and immediately and rudely says to the first couple (which happened to be of Asian decent), “you’re here for propane you need to wait. I won’t leave the store when I’m the only one here you have to wait.” They never even had a chance to tell her what they were there for she just assumed and was rude about it. The next person in line was a white lady. The employee politely says to her, “ma’am how can I help you?” Now while I understand her reasoning for not being able to assist the couple right then, but the way she approach her them was absolutely rude. The employee went out to check the Uhaul that the woman in front of me was returning and the person that I was with told the couple that if they had a Sam’s club card they could go up the street and get what they needed. The woman in front of me also suggested a place down the street where they could possible go for assistance. We all collectively agreed that the employee was very wrong and rude for how she approached the couple and the couple left. Another employee (who was also a who’re female) comes in and says “can I help whose next?” At this point I have been waiting for about 15min and I and clearly the next person in line. I explain to her that I was returning my Uhaul and that the keys were already inside waiting on her. She asks which truck I’m in and I point it out. She rudely says “I’m just trying to make sure you’re not cutting in front of anyone” and rushes out. Now I am very well aware of what the term “next” means and being that I was next in line when she asked who was next I’m not quite for certain why she then assumed I was cutting in front of anyone. She goes out side to check the Uhaul and the person who was with me looks at me and comments to me “wow there is a lot of hostility in here today”. The first employee who was rude to the couple then chimes in and says to my companion “or maybe you’re just sensitive”. Words were then had back and forth before things died down. The problem that I have is that she was rude from the very beginning and when my friend spoke to me, he was going just that speaking to ME, not her. There was zero need for her to respond especially when she wasn’t being spoken to. I have used this store a few times, but after my personal experience yesterday and seeing how others where treated, I will not be returning here in the future and will encourage people that I know to take their business else where as well.

My only complaint was I reserved a 15’ truck and It wasn’t available due to other reservations. I was sent over from another location that’s why they didn’t have it. The main concern I saw was one of the customer service representative Was very rude to a customer because he was upset about his reservation was not being honored.

Try to listen more for what the consumer is asking for. Example: I ask for a three 3 day truck rental. I received a truck rental for less than 24 hours. U Haul towed the truck with some of my belongings it was full by the way. This was really not good to do this to customer. Then we told my the Manager that he did not want to talk to me. He was almost at the point of being belligerent. I thought this is no way to treat customers. When he called finally I said to my self I don't want to talk to this Jerk. First mssg : for damages to the truck was 19**. But am giving you a 20% discount so it is 17**. Still thinking as I listen to his mssg. No I don't want to talk to you and possibly loose my temper. I felt that he was still not very very polite. Second mssg: Was if you don't call back we're taking your stuff to the dump. Call back. That was not very very nice either I thought. Third mssg : I am putting your stuff in a locker and charging you 2,***. I thought with out my concent you took them to the dump, now your telling me that I owe way over two thousand dollars. When he had said I didn't want to talk to me. Then I don't need to be treated this way. Two months have gone by I have no idea where or if I have any of the stuff in truck any more. He wouldn't listen to me to here my side of things. I wanted to cry. I fact when I got to my car that morning I did cry. Why would he say my bed mattress had bugs. Yelling at me to get out, didn't want to even talk to civility. We didn't damage the top passengers corner and heard rocks hitting the house, they wasn't hitting the house they was thrown rocks at the U Haul truck about the front lawn had half dozen large rocks in it. He said again, didn't want to talk to me about it. That not what one would say to his mother. So upset with his attitude I want to call the police. I lost a Bonsi tree that was 19 of my years possession, the tree was worth over 10,000 dollars. 68 years of saving and buying a coin collecting. All kitchen dishes, table and chairs. Clothes, 35 quilts that I had sewed to to sell. Two queen size beds, clothes, a 5 years old Bonsi tree. 195. Dollars of can goods and dry food noddles, flour cereal ect.. Yes I am upset. Still after all these months. Then the sheriff came by with 5 minutes to get out. Dressers sewing machines, tools, good a whole refergator and freezer full. Clothes for 3 people. Stove refergator, dryer. Tools from three people. Lawn mower, lawn blower. Rakes, shovels living room stuff. Yes I was devastated. Sleeped in my car for a week. Got sick, hospitalized for 5 days. Had to buy a new battery for my car. YRS OF WORK ALL GONE IN LESS THAN TWO DAYS. IS THIS THE WAY YOU WOULD TALK OR TREAT A SEVENRY YEARS OLD LADY WHO JUST WANTED A TRUCK FOR THREE DAYS??

rented a trailer. The girl tightened the trailer tightened it way too much. Didn’t give us the option to hook up ourselves. Then when it was time to return the trailer the girl working couldn’t get the trailer off and neither could my boyfriend. We had to go dig through and find a tool to be able to get a grip on it. Luckily my boyfriend is handy and able to get it off. But had customer been an elderly person or someone not strong it would have been a tricky situation. The girl who handled the return was good. Either give people the option to hook up supervised or teach your people to hook up properly.
