Maybe you could contact the renter and tell him that the truck is not at his “preferred “ location but another location 20 minutes away. While I sat at my “preferred “ pick up point trying to figure out where my truck was because my “preferred “ pickup location was closed. Regardless of what your records show, I did not receive a “text” message from uhaul telling me of my “new “ pickup location. I did receive an email on Friday to confirm my pickup for Saturday which I did call to confirm. Nowhere in the email or the phone call was I told my pickup location had changed-(you record them - listen) the only clue that I got was that 15 miles had been added. A very bad experience.

When cust due back at 2..give time.in between reservations..it was rude to call me 2 times at 2:06 & 2:11 stressing another cust needs truck at 2...other than that no issues

Said we would need the truck for “approximately “ 5 hours. We were called 20 minutes prior to our 5 hours telling us we had to have it back by 3 because someone was waiting on the truck. Are you kidding me??? Maybe you should get more trucks so you don’t have to have people waiting on you to return the truck. Felt that was very rude. Will never rent there again.

Staff was quite helpful and went above and beyond to deal with me. Process was easy and without issue. The trailer I used was clean, but did have rust on it,which was not a problem, but didn't look that good.

Two leads of the auto transport trailers wiring harness were sliced completely through. Had I not taken time to inspect, I would have been pulling it with no lights. Nomar promised that he would only bill one day so long as trailer was returned before they opened on Saturday morning. Trailer was back but they still billed for 2 days. John is a very poor manager. He would rather argue than do what is right.

The service center I originally reserved moved me to this center, I believe there was a reservation/online problem. That is 100% understandable, especially because I understand logistics and I don't want anyone to loose their job/ suffer for that. It was only a 2 mile difference. The problem was I reserved 2 furniture dollys and the facility I was moved to had none. I had no problem moving facilities as it was honestly not a far distance, but they couldn't get ahold of my original facility so I had no dollys. I was not charged for them, which is a great business practice, but I would have preferred to have them, and gladly would have paid for them, to move my furniture that was extremely heavy,

The rental we got on Monday 10/2 to finish up moving the last minute items the battery died. We had to wait for a friend with jumper cables, I called the road side assistance number and was on hold forever, never did talk to an actual person. I finally went online and filed that claim. By the time anyone called us we had gotten it running. This took up an hour of my time when I would have been done. I think there should be some type of compensation for customers who experience issues like this.

The person that made the reservation made an error and overbooked for the truck we wanted so we had to put our move back 2 hours then the manager called and tried to make it sound like this was our fault for making a change to the order , I made the reservation and the change a week in advance and no one caught this before then.? So instead of an apology and how can we make this right U-Haul tried to make it sound like this was our fault and didn't notify us that the time would be moved back until the day before the move, therefore things had to be rescheduled. Moves are stressful enough without crap like this happening. We were not happy. Thanks for asking.

I was not informed that there was after hour drop off. I had to call customer service to find this out. The location closed at 7, we dropped the truck off at 7:30. Since we had been given no info on drop off, we parked the truck in the exact same spot that it was in when we rented it. The next morning, I got a call saying they can’t find the truck, and if they don’t find it by 10:30 I will be charged for an additional day. I call back and speak with an associate who tells me “Yeah, they probably just didn’t look for it hard enough.” Then she said she couldn’t find my name anywhere in the records and said “they probably didn’t charge you, I wouldn’t worry about it.” Had I been informed of after hour drop off ahead of time, none of this would have been an issue. I felt as though the process was rushed because the store was busy at the time.

The process within the showroom to pick up equipment (even after doing early check-in) moves very slowly; not sure if it was because it was the morning or what. Returning equipment was a breeze, so not sure.

Truck was old and had minor problems, horn worked intermittently, the window crank kept coming off, cab smelled awful, truck was dependable and rode well, just could be cleaner, then they charged me for cleaning!!!, I left a small bag of garbage in truck but other than that it was clean! Windows were filthy too!
