The online key pick up was an epic failure. We were very lucky that there were employees working on the day/time of pickup to assist, but it took 30 minutes out of our moving time.
Kevin S.Uhaul didn't change my location to Arlington Rd. I had to call Uhaul. The description to where the key was, was ridiculous. I had to call again. The office/key location was 200' up a driveway. It had 1/2 tank of gas. From the time I arrived to pick up till leaving…40 minutes ! Very annoying
Richard B.Cardboard left in truck cab when we picked it up. We returned it in the same manner. Gas tank was not full when we picked up but returned full as per instruction.
Robin D.The people at this location were really, really rude. We had questions about using the 24/7 check in and went into the office to ask the person at the desk. He was extremely rude and told us they didn't want people in the office because of covid and that is why they have to 24/7 app. He told us to go back outside and look at the e-mail and follow directions. Another woman came to feed all the cats running around and told us that there is a phone number listed on the door of the office and to call if we had any questions because, again, they didn't know where we had been and didn't want covid. The customer service person who answered the "traffic management" phone number we called wasn't much better. She said the computers were slow, or down, or something and we'd have to wait a few minutes and try again. When we finally did get through, we had to wait while our contact and reservation were approved. Seems like that could have been done the day before, or at least been told that it would take 45 minutes to an hour to drive away with the rental, especially since we had movers waiting on us that we were paying by the hour. And if that wasn't bad enough, someone identifying as a U-Haul person called our contact and said "This is a number we have listed as a contact for a U-Haul rental. Our sister said "Yes, that is correct." The u-haul employee said - and this is a direct quote - "Tell him to make sure he gets the truck back on time." AND HUNG UP. All in all, I would say this was the worst rental experience I have ever had. In the future, I will look to other companies for service.
