The rear door of the truck would not open . After going back to the UHaul office and the guy there did get it opened but it wasn't an all so easy pull. Plus we used Moving Help Labor Services at accellone@ gmail . com. The first set of guys were involved in an auto accident. The manager/ owner called and said there would be two other guys coming at 1:00. First of all that put us behind about 3 hrs. Next thing I get a phone call from one of the movers and he said he was at 12181 Bk Massillon Rd Orrville Ohio 44667 . That is the address where the storage unit is that they were moving their stuff into. The Owner called me and said that was the only address he had. I told him more than once 300 E Exchange St Apt 3 Akron Ohio 44304 AND They lived above the store called Starz and right beside Akron U, AND take Kling St to the back of the building where they stairs are. I also told him that there is a FedEx right across from the parking lot where the UHaul will be parked. He claims he never heard that from me. He said he would send me a copy of what he had written down He asked for both addresses even though the guys weren't helping to unload the truck. JUST 2 hrs of helping to load. From the time the guys got there they kept asking for the paper. They were only there 1 HOUR not 2. So since everything was 3 hrs late and with 2 loads from Akron to Orrville and unloading after dark was something that should've had to happen . The Owner said he doesn't get any info accept name, email and phone # . He sent me a picture of the paper he used to jot down the info. He has the storage for address with apt 3 and second floor. I told him to look at the order from UHaul and he said they NEVER get that information from UHaul. Maybe you need to send that to your customer's. It says LOCATION-AKRON NOT ORRVILLE. I request a refund , that was the day from Hexx.Angela S.

At first, my uhaul experience was a nightmare.. I was sent to the pickup location 199 Massillon rd in Akron OH and THEY WERE CLOSED, there was a car in the parking lot so we knocked on the glass door, and an employee came to the door only to say they aren't open..we explained that we had a pickup for 7am and she said â€œno we don't do uhaulâ€ we pointed to the uhaul signs all over the building and she said she wasn't going to help us. Luckily we called another location who was kind enough to call around and see if any else had an Large/Xlarge uhaul we could pickup same day and we were sent to the location 237 Fountain street also in Akron OH , the young lady was helpful and the building was clean and well equipped. I recommend this location for anyone in the Akron area.Weston D.
It was not wiped down, and prior client trash was still in the truck. My biggest issue is that I had selected another location to pick up the truck that was much closer and it kept reverting it back the Fountain Street location. When I called the 800 number, I was on hold for 20 minutes only to be told I would have to call another number. The online feature did not give an explanation as to why I could not pick up at the 2000 Block of S Main street 44319. I could have possibly made time or truck adjustments. The other employee was more interested in cleaning Ad distracting the employee who had a line of customers waiting to pick up their vehicle to accomplish their task. On the phone the day I made my reservation I was told insurance was $10.00 and the rental was $19.00 plus mileage. I was charged nearly $60.00 and only drove the cargo van approximately 15 miles. I don't understand the additional charges.Doreen H.

I waited for 20 minutes to drop of the truck. Only one person was working. I also bought propane from there and I had three 20 lbs thanks I wanted filled. I only got 9.80 gallons all together of propane for all 3 tanks. They were not filled all the way up.TERRY S.

Workers were rude and didn't even walk out with me to the truck to verify witch truck or to check if it was in good condition. Truck did not shift to next gear properly. It was very hard to drive on highway bc it took way to long for it to get up to 55 mpr. Then worker didn't put my information right on my order and my account said I didn't have any equipment rented online. Then I called and was hold for 25 minutes. A worker answered but never said his name and was slurring his words and he then put me back on hold after I told him I was trying to return the truck. I couldn't get any help after that. This had to be the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. I will never use uhaul ever again.HEATHER O.
