Every single staff member was above and beyond kind and helpful! The storage unit was a perfect fit for us. Staff made sure it was clean and had pest control. We will DEFINITELY use Uhaul again for any moving and storage needs! A++!
Laura M | Overall ExperienceGetting a truck and a storage unit was an entire nightmare! I reserved everything on the fifth, with call center, got a confirmation # then go to pick up truck, and call storage place, AND THERES NO RESEVATION FOR ME! I DO GET A TRUCK FROM SCOTTSDALE, ITS NEW, HAS GAS ON E, AND THE GUY THAT GAVE ME THE TRUCK MARKED I HAD TO BRING IT BACK WITH 1/4 OF A TANK! BECAUSE IT WAS NEW. I GOT NO RAMP WITH THE TRUCK, SO THAT WAS A NIGHTMARE MOVING HEAVY STUFF IN AND OUT OF IT. AND WHEN I BRING THE TRUCK BACK WHICH WAS A TINY BIT UNDER 1/4, I WAS THEN CHARGED $15 BECAUSE THE MAN THAT TOOK BACK THE TRUCK SAID I OWED GAS, WHEN I GOT IT ON E, AND GAVE IT BACK WITH MORE THAN 1/8 OF GAS, ALMOST 1/4 TH! THE PEOPLE AT THE STORAGE CENTER WERE FANTASTIC, I GIVE ZERO STARS TO SCOTTSDALE WHERE I GOT THE UHAUL ON E. I GIVE ZERO STARS FOR TEMPE UNHUAL WHEN I RETURNED THE TRUCK AT ALMOST 1/4. I GIVE ZERO STARS STARS TO UNHUAL AS A HOLE, BECAUSE NOTHING WENT SMOOTHLY, BECAUSE THE CALL CENTER DID NOT SAVE MY RESERVATIONS, EVEN THOUGH I GOT A CONFIRMATION#. I ALSO GIVE 0 STARS BECAUSE I WAS GOING ONE WAY CITY TO CITY, THE LADY AT CALL CENTER TOLD ME ID GET A FREE MONTH OF STORAGE FOR THAT. IN THE TRUCK IT ALSO SAID ID GET A FREE MONTH. AND I WAS TOLD UM NOPE WE DONT DO THAT ANYMORE. WELL THEN WHY DOES IT SAY I CAN, ON THE AD INSIDE THE TRUCK, WHICH WAS PUT UP RECENTLY BECAUSE ITS A NEW TRUCK WITH ONLY 160 MILWS ON IT. I PLAN TO CONTACT BBB TO FILE A BIG COMPLAINT, FOR ACCRUING CHARGES FOR GAS, YOU BREAKING CONTRACT AND MAKING ME PUT GAS IN TO 1/4, WHEN I GOT IT ON E AND SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETIRN IT ON E! WHY DID I BUY FREE GAS FOR UHUAL, WHY DID YOU BREAK THE CONTRACT, WHY WERE MY RESERVATIONS NOT HONORED, AND HOW CAN YOU DO FALSE ADVERTISING, OF A FREE MONTH OF STORAGE, WHEN THE CALL CENTER SAID I COULD GET IT, AND IT WAS ADVIRTISED IN THE TRUNK. WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN WHEN I USED THEM NUMEROUS TIMES IN THE PAST, BUT YESTERDAY WAS SO STRESSFUL, BECAUSE THE RIGHT HAND DOESNT KNOW WHAT THE LEFT HAND IS DOING AT UHUALA, IM A BUDGET TRUCK RENTER NOW.

Laura M | First ImpressionsThis facility has not had an entrance gate for over 2 months now. People are able to walk in freely.
James J | Overall ExperienceThe entrance gate to the facility is broke because someone ran into it. This has apparently been an issue for multiple weeks and the front desk person said it may be another few weeks. This is a huge security issue, and in no world does it take over a month to fix an entrance gate. When I went to move into my unit. Someone’s stuff was already occupying it, bleeding over from the unit next to it. Front desk person said this is the second time this has happened this week. It’s only Tuesday. I had to get a new unit which was ok but had mouse droppings in it The sliding entrance door to the building was broken and stuck open. There was a homeless man walking through the community, obviously a safety issue. I asked about increased security due to the broken gate and the desk person told me that just the cameras are security. I saw the camera screen — there’s like five of them. And none inside the storage facility’s indoor hallways. Do better U-Haul. And provide the services you promise. I routinely have terrible experiences with U-Haul, and after I move out of this unit in a few months, I guarantee you this will be the last bad experience I have because I will no longer be a customer. I’ll take my business anywhere but U-Haul.

Theresa C | First ImpressionsOn 3/21 I added a new storage unit to my account (unit 431) to take all of my thing from a drive up unit to climate control. On 3/22 I went in to use the restroom And had asked about the carts because I was gonna need one of the mattress carts and I was told that the person on shift didn’t have me sign paperwork for my new unit so we signed paperwork on 3/22 even though I started moving on 3/21. On 3/23 I realized I’ll need more space so the staff offered another smaller unit with a free month (unit 472). On 3/24 I went in because 472 wasn’t showing on my app and I explained the situation and once again the person the day before did not finalize my paperwork… and even though I was offered a free month the staff person forced me to pay for the month. This is quite annoying and frustrating especially because I am also a Uhaul dealer, this kind of back and fourth and failure to up hold offers is very unprofessional and failure to finalize paperwork with customers is very unprofessional. Also 472 had a NO LIGHTING luckily moving big things in there made it easy but that unit is a death trap waiting to happen.
Stephen L | Overall ExperienceThe only issue was with the car hauler while still functional, the handle on the passenger side ratcheting wheel tie-down was missing. So in order to tighten down the ratchet strap, you needed to use your hands, grasping the metal arms instead of the handle. I have a picture on my phone to show you.
