angela r | First ImpressionsI tried to answer as honest as possible without letting other U-Haul issues get in the way. Yeah, one month free for a storage unit is awesome, but until somebody goes through the tragedy of losing their home and everything in it. Nothing compared to what U-Haul could do financially to help people affected, but instead, I’ve had the general manager, not even care to look in to my situation the lack of communication and knowledge. Contracts on one purchase. It’s no wonder the employees don’t know what they’re doing because the manager doesn’t. They need to be more transparent and upfront with customers Instead of waiting until two weeks later to start draining their account I will definitely be trying to find someone else to use if I ever have to move again.(ecsp getting threatened with never being able to use U-Haul in the US or Canada if I dispute UNAUTHORIZED charges) rather It’s a storage unit or U-Haul. I pray. I never have to deal with this again on top of the tragedy, my families went through. RON (GM at n.roan) Never even cared to apologize. He didn’t even care to look into my account as to why it was getting drained. Some sweet lady at customer care had to do his job for him. I would not recommend storage units with mouse traps in them or U-Haul overall…because it has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with U-Haul due to the lack of Knowledge when it comes to their jobs and being able to handle customers with respect and transparency. Telling them upfront, explain to them if they don’t understand. Don’t brush them off.

I know she was making sure things were going right, but she stopped and asked me did I rent this storage space the space was open. I had the keys and we were moving stuff in so I had to show her my contract. I don’t know if It it was because I was black or what but common sense will tell her that the Storage Was open and we were putting stuff in that didn’t make any sense to me otherwise everything was fine
