5 stars for the tank, 1 star for UHaul. These require recertification every 5 years and this "new" tank is from Sept 2023 so 2 years gone on the cert.

Product great, but not impressed how uhaul shipped the product in a package not suitable...way too big...no filler...unit just flopped around inside. Very disappointed. Do a better job please.

These Viking takes are awesome! So much lighter than standard steel tanks. Of note, hey are skinnier than steel tanks. I hope to enjoy these for the rest of my camping days.
Can fiberglass propane tanks be recertified? Does u haul certify them?
Hi Mel! Fiberglass or composite tanks must be re-certified every five years. They can only be recertified twice. They have a total usable life of 15 years. After that they must be properly disposed. U-Haul does not recertify tanks, but you can research propane tank recertifiers near you. I hope this helps, thank you for reaching out today!
