It could be paired with an anti scratches blanket for TV screen. Naturally the set would be a little more pricey

How thick are the corners themselves?

Hi Frances! The outer width is 2.7"-3.0" and the inner width is 1.15"-1.25". I hope that helps!

Can these be used in Uhaul TV box for 55 in flat screen tv se

Hello Joe. It will work as long as the tv fits into the suggested dimensions on the website: Individual corner dimensions: 4.5” x 4.75” Fit TVs and frames up to 1.5” thick Pair these perfectly with any U-Haul mirror & picture box as well as the picture packer kit

Will these work with the 4 piece picture box, the picture packer does not fit.

Hey, Eric! Yes - these edge protectors will fit in our 4-piece picture box. You will also likely need something to secure the corners to the picture such as Stretch Wrap. I hope that is helpful!
