Local pickup of UBox to load was smooth. The local Uhaul owner also offered two UBoxes until I knew my goods would fit and said if I didn’t need second box, there would be no charge. I ended up not needing second box but was a great plus to using ubox. It is also wonderful that uboxes come with moving blankets. He also put a lock on the box as well when it was being picked up to ship. There was confusion once box arrived at destination and scheduling it to be delivered and unloaded. No one contacted me to schedule to make sure it was convenient for me. Local Uhaul locations as well as customers need to be educated on this process. I was told I could reschedule in the app but couldn’t find this functionality and local Uhaul rep didn’t know how to do in app either. When Ubox was delivered and unloaded, the third party company was excellent and took extra care unloading my antique furniture. Everything in Ubox made it and no damage. In the end, that is the most important thing, so using Ubox was a cost effective means to move belongings across the country! If I had to make any suggestion, it would be to include 5 ratchet straps with each ubox in addition to moving blankets.

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulOne of u boxes arrived without a door. I was only able to use one of the boxes. The movers I had said I could put the rest of my things in the truck but I didn’t feel comfortable doing that since I couldn’t lock the truck. Therefore I didn’t get all of the things I wanted to go to South Carolina in the load. There were several other items I had to put in a friend’s garage to store until I can get them. The movers didn’t offer to get another box so I wasn’t aware if they were able to do that. Kevin from in if the offices called me to ask about the issue and I couldn’t answer my phone. He left a message late on Friday and I tried to return his call on Monday. He didn’t call me back after several attempts of trying to return his call. When I finally called and was able to speak to him he said they weren’t aware I needed another box and the movers said I fit everything into one box when that was not true. Had he returned my call he would’ve known. He said he would look into this and call me back. I feel like I should be refunded some of my money and compensated for this. Such an inconvenience and total screw up bringing a u box with no door. Are these boxes not checked before you put them on a truck to go to a customer? Everything else was great. The movers were quick and very nice just not helpful in problem solving the u box without the door and the solution to load everything else into the truck was not an option for me.
