It was a very easy process to get and return the cargo van. The van was immaculate and served our purpose perfectly. The staff at UHaul was courteous and helpful and we were very pleased

The staff was knowledgable but needed to be trained more on making reservations that match customer requests. The vans were in decent working condition. The main issue was the vans were not disinfected between customers-just broom swept. One of us developed a serious bacterial skin infection from a dirty truck... We also found a roach on one of the trucks. The vans exterior was clean but the front and back of interior needed to be thoroughly vacuumed and wiped down/washed and mopped with disinfectant prior to customer pick-up. Treating for potential insects would also be a plus...

Your staff help be to keep my business going and worked with me due to my personal circumstances. I will only rent from that location going forward because of the outstanding service. I couldn’t get anyone to tell me where to drop off. I was on the phone over an out and a half and repeatedly hung up on. 8 times to be exact. This is unacceptable.

They only had two people checking customers in, process was very slow. When I finally did get my truck it was in good shape, but the A/C did not work. it was a brutal drive drive on I95.

Poor service to start, took an hour to get the truck, person who delivered it did not have stickers to mark dents or scratches and told me to take pictures. When returning the truck the inventory on my receipt was correct but changed upon return so had to spend another hour clearing that up.

I created reservation via the web portal, sent a driver to White Plains branch, and they had no trucks available. Why did the system accept a reservation?

ustomer service needs a lot of work!!!Watch out for additional fees they tack on. When you rent a vehicle there look on the exterior of the truck or van and you will notice little nickle size stickers staiting claim numbers for every little scratch, ding, dent and sap stain. Hense them suing or settling with the customer for the minute dings or dents. Also be sure to double check your contact as i told my uhaul agent i needed the truck for a day or two and wound up agreeing to a rental return that night. I was called the next day and was asked why i didnt return the truck the prior night i explained the situation and told them i had requested a rental for a day or two, i was then told i would be charged a 150.00 inconvenience fee because i didnt bring the truck back on time and there werent other trucks available for rent. Upon returning the truck there were 5 trucks in the lot that were the identical size and were available for long diatance and in town moves. The only positive experience at this place is the guy named Michael who was the return agent in the lot. aww

I arrived at the location a few minutes late, they were closed but the service woman set me up for a 24 hour pick up online and that’s when my issues began. Your online directory is by far the WORSE system I have ever dealt with. I was redirected to the same “pick up my rental” screen every time I clicked “let’s get started” . It shut me out after i uploaded my license and my photo twice. Called customer service and they could only tell me to try it again online. So no help was offered there. I sat in that parking lot waiting for a 3 digit code that I never received, even after the U-Haul online service told me my check out was compete. I have no idea how the box was opened but luckily I was able to retrieve the key for my 3 hour trip. I’tll be a while before I consider using you all again. If ever.

I took the time to fill out ALL the information online prior to arriving at the counter. The website assured me that I would save time at the counter. However the counter attendant asked me ALL of the same questions once more, Since my smartphone is my work phone I cannot use the phone pickup option, Had I not filled out the form online I would not have to give all the info twice, why should I have to answer ALL the questions over again when I have filled them out online? The counter attendant is asking questions where the answer is right in front of them! Plus long lines are common at this location, why can't I actually save time? Maybe you can help me resolve the phone reservation issue.

Hire more than one worker to assist customers. Train the only cashier to have a better attitude and sympathize when a customer has been waiting more than 10mins.

It wasn't clear where the line was, when I arrived to start the rental on Sunday morning. That wasn't a problem, but there were 2 lines, and I worried a bit that the person in the other line wouldn't have noticed that I was there before she was, and there was a potential for a disagreement. Had there been a sign saying, "Line starts here," or the equivalent, it would have been clearer. But, that's a very minor point. The entire process, equipment, and pricing were all excellent.
