More staff in the mornings when customers usually pick up the trucks. One staff member is not enough and waiting 45 minutes in line is unacceptable when you have a time sensitive move.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Truck was ready when I got there. All charges were fully explained. Can't ask much more of a truck rental company. I've rented from here before and am always happy with the service.

I had a guaranteed reservation for 10 am. There was no vehicle for me because other renters were late returning. Only two counter staff working, which was not enough. I tried calling 1-800 U-Haul and had long time on hold (30 minutes), then transferred to Winnipeg Scheduling, transferred back to the call centre, told that scheduling is too busy to answer, put back on hold then was cut off. Fortunately a vehicle in my size (10 foot van) arrived shortly after 11 and I was able to leave by 11:15. However, i was not offered my reservation guarantee refund of $50. Staff did give me a mileage discount, but this was inadequate for my time and inconvenience. I would like to commend the staff who were clearly frustrated by the lack of vehicles, who deserved better management support being placed in this situation (other customers had missing rentals). U-Haul needs to do a better job of ensuring vehicles are returned on time, or not overbooking. The U-Haul penalty you charge late returners isn't working, and it didn't compensate me for my time, stress or inconvenience. You need to change your corporate policies and support your staff better. And have a better staffed call centre.

The gentleman who helped me out today was fantastic. I was expecting the process to be quite slow and potentially a pain to go through. I found it easy, the employees were helpful and they set me up and got me going on my way very fast. Overall really impressed with my experience with uhaul, I’m not one to usually write reviews but I just had to share my positive experience!

One person working and very slow even with mobile device check in. Had to wait for customer inside to get U-Haul keys for 20mins so I could move my U-Haul because it was parked in front of mine.

Have backup vehicles in stock so when a customer does not return their vehicle on time it does not mean it will completely fuck over the next customer's reservation. It happened to me and over 10 other people in one morning.

try to be honest and transparent. Also make sure you actually have the truck we booked ready for pick up on the date and if you have give us a different truck than make sure you compensate for the difference in cost of gas.

Absolutely horrible customer service.. no communication from main office to retail stores... I was asked to return my truck and get a new one so I unloaded furniture, cleaned the truck, filled the gas tank, brought back to the store, waited over 30min in lineup, just to have clerk say" I have no record of that" "I cannot help you, have a nice day" Then the next day I was asked to again bring the truck back!!!!!!! I told them what happened and she wasn't even the same person who phoned the other day!!!! she had no idea who called before or why clerk would not accept it... Now after keeping the rental another week I get an angry call wanting the truck back immediately because they had reserved my truck to other people and I was bumping them.. 50 bucks every reservation I was told!!!!!! fuck that shit... fuck you guys and your shitty system...
