I was asked twice if I was hauling furniture, my reply both times, no I am picking up 12 ft. & 16 ft long lumber. I was offered a 15 ft, van, I am thinking this should sufficient. When I saw the van I asked is this a 15 ft. van. the answer was yes! Here is the problem, 12 ft. lengths of lumber stuck the back of the van blocking closure of the roll up door. The majority of the lumber was 12 ft., I spent a lot of time planning how I could possibly transport the lumber in this van. My helper and I loaded & unloaded the van, we made it work by angling the 12 ft. lumber. The problem is, if the load shifted while in transit I may not be able to roll up the rear door. Fortunately the rode well, due to time spent planning the logistics. The tough part is: that evening I had to rent the deliver truck from the lumber yard to deliver the balance of the order to the job site. Extra expense I did not expect, actually I went with U-haul so I could have the proper length of delivery van, this did not happen. A delivery that should have taken 5 or 6 hours turned into a ten hour day & extra expense. an unhappy customer, if the deck is not 15 ft. then do not call it a 15 ft, van. Ideally, I would have needed a 17 ft. van.

Only thing was one tail light didn't come on at night, all lights worked fine except for this. Trailer was excellent. Only thing I thought was odd was the motorcycle trailer didn't come with a spare tire in case of a flat. I understand the spare could get stolen off the trailer, if that's the reason. It could be given to the renter when the trailer is picked up.

When I refill the tank before returning, I usually just get an approximate amount and then add a little more if needed, but the staff recommended that I use the 'easy guide' for how much to refill it with, and it resulted in me putting in basically a 1/4 tank too much. Absolutely unnecessary and pretty frustrating, as it was like $15 extra cost that was a total waste. Definitely not going to be using that 'perk' next time.

The vehicle was not washed, although the interior of the cab and the box were clean. The vehicle’s engine also revved very high in each gear before it would shift to the next (approx 4000 rpm before shifting). Transmission may need to be looked at. The staff at the location were very friendly and helpful...no problems there.

Worker took 15 minutes or more of fiddling around on the computer to et check in completed, mumbled and was difficult to understand. I asked for a dolly, he didn't say anything and then grabbed the small one and seemed annoyed when I said no I needed one for appliances (I didn't know there were several kinds available until I saw them). Payment options (cash debit and credit card) were not explained properly and I felt forced to pay with credit card as he wouldn't explain what the minimum amounts meant on the cash and debit options. Everything was very confusing.
