Recognize Schuyler! Give him a raise, give him a day-off, however you recognize staff for their customer service, Schuyler is deserving for his exemplary quality of service, care and attentiveness. While completing a drive from Ontario to Alberta, my car could no longer tow the rented 5x8 trailer. In tandem with U Haul customer support Schuyler picked-up the 5x8 trailer from the hotel parking lot where it was parked and brought it to the Regent Ave W location. I needed to rent a 10ft. truck and an auto transport trailer to complete my drive to Alberta. In addition to making the reservation Schuyler was able to offset some of the added cost and did all of this in a timely manner, all while continuing to manage the staff and customer flow on-site. Schuyler was careful and thorough in demonstrating how to load, connect and off-load the vehicle with the auto-transport. When one of the auto-transports proved to have minor damage, rather than bypassing, Schuyler used a different auto transport trailer. Throughout the experience Schuyler was patient, clear and transparent in his communication. A model for other staff to learn from, Schuyler was a silver-lining bringing certainty and good-fortune to a stressful, unpredictable circumstance. He demonstrated a strong sense of empathy and kindness.

I bought insurance but was charged extra when a tire was damaged. When I dropped off the truck I was charged one price based on the damage however the next day my credit card was credited for that amount and charged for a higher amount. I contacted U-Haul wanting an explanation and after 2+ weeks no one has bothered to get back to me. Terrible customer service.

They charged a cleaning fee of $25 from where I picked up the truck . But they were NOT the ones who cleaned it I was , so why do they get the cleaning FEE, I should.

The location and staff were just fine. The people who schedule the trucks for customers like myself who booked weeks in advance are an embarrassment to to your company. There ineptitude caused my family an enormous inconvenience and escalated the cost of my move substantially. The amount of inconvenience and stress caused on my well choreographed day of moving was inflated due to your incompetence and lack of competition. I was lied to several times on moving day by customer service, including but not limited to, being told I was speaking to someone from my location in Winnipeg, Canada; yet they had to ask my area code and had a southern accent from clearly not Canada. I did not get the equipment I booked nor did I get it at the time I booked it. So thanks for that.

Generally everything was good. The only minor gripe I have is that the in-store pick up process was a little long and seemed to be asking for information that was already part of my online u-haul profile. Perhaps I will try the mobile pickup option next time.

Regent was great, but I was supposed to pick up a truck on Elizabeth that never showed up and I wasted two hours. Stayed on hold for 45 minutes with uhaul. Terrible. Very unhappy about that.

We were under the impression we rented the unit for the day, however with the understanding that it would be appreciated if we could return it by 5:00 so the unit could be re rented. We subsequently asked for an extension to 5:30. We unfortunately didn’t return the vehicle until 6:15 and were charged an extra day fee. Apparently daily rates are only really half day rates! This really upset me and I will certainly consider alternate companies when I next require a rental vehicle.

I could not rent a truck when I called the main uhaul line. I stopped into the Regent location hoping that someone dropped off a truck early. We were able to rent a truck and had it back in time per their instructions. I appreciated the staff helping us out

I requested a 4x8 trailer and I was guaranteed a 4x8 trailer... intended up paying extra for a 5x8 and no one even mentioned that I wasn't getting a 4x8. Kind if disappointed for the extra charge I wasnt expecting

Have equipment ready and complete maintenance check or clean up before customer pickup. The customer shouldn’t have to wait for equipment that was reserved for a specific time or have to pick up the equipment at another location if reserved at the current one. All problems should be addressed before the customer arrives or brought to the customer’s attention A.S.A.P. The staff was hesitant and did not do their jobs properly. There wasn’t much, if at all, any customer service.

My initial booking got cancelled for some reason (and without notifying me), and when I re-booked the truck, it was put for 9 pm instead of am. Thankfully, it all worked out! I have used UHaul several times for my moves and would recommend them!

The windshield was so caked and dirty with bugs I had to go buy window spray to clean it off because I couldn't even see driving down the highway ! I told the person working there about it and he said that they tried to clean with a squeegee and couldn't get them off.
