There was a charge of 120$ that I was not aware of and employee would not explain. When I got the truck it was dirty. Was told if I went over 1000 miles I would get a better rate and that was total bullshit. I am very unhappy and got fuckin ripped off. Didn't think a large company would be a rip off but you are. Our reservation was not garenteed and we had to get a different size trailer. Out pick up took an hour to complete because the system wasn't working and our trailer that we changed our reservation too wasn't even ready or checked into the system. drop off was messed up due to the online system not working and we were charged an extra day even after talking to a rep the next morning. That rep was also extremely rude and impatient on the phone. We have rented from Uhaul many times and this was the worst by far

I was charged a $60 deposit and when it came time to get my money back they said they would mail me to checks and I'm homeless and I'm not sure if I will ever get these checks or not. Also I was up sold a bundle of extra large boxes out of which I only need three and they said I can return them and get my money back but when I came back with my extra boxes they said I needed to present a receipt even though the box is clearly said U-Haul on them and I was not given a receipt due to safety reasons in regards to the Coronavirus. So I just let them have the boxes back with no reimbursement.

The equipment sound like the trans or motor was falling apart every price was misquoted and every time I got to a different site nothing that was told to me at the first site was true at the next site . I was on hold for 2 1/2 hours before we even got our truck no one ever said our information needed to be verified in order to get the 24/7 service I need someone from the corporate office to contact me at +17013397728. Very disappointed at all service.

I went to the store to personally reserve a trailer, which I found to be a waste of time. I should have just reserved it online, due to the fact the customer service representative set the reservation as a quote instead of a reservation. A situation occurred where I needed the trailer reservation a day earlier than I requested. That is when I found out I had no reservation and it was only set up as a quote. If I would have just showed up on my assumed reservation date, there would have been no trailer. The customer service in Williston needs to listen to customers requests better and learn how to make reservations in the computer system when requested.

Hire people who care about customer service and do not lie straight to the customers face (this happened twice with two employees, including the GM). When a reservation has to be changed send out non confusing text messages or actually call the customer so they are not relying on their actual time they reserved their truck for. I completely understand things happen that cannot be helped, but when the employees raise your stress level so high and act like this was a fault of the customers and treat you like dirt then don’t follow through with what they tell you they will (the GM didn’t follow through with a simple phone call to us after he promised to do so) it is very frustrating! If there were any other option in our town I would NEVER use U-haul of Williston again. But there isn’t and that’s why they know they can get away with this type of behavior. This is the second time in a row this has happened to my husband and I so it is incredibly frustrating. I have never had this problem with any other U-haul dealer in all my years of renting and I have literally used a minimum of 30 different dealers for various reasons. We have heard from many different people that this is a continued problem at this location and people are so frustrated but no one has any other options so it continues. U-haul has really let their customer service slip in this location and it’s very unfortunate.

My experience was somewhat okay, it’s just that the truck was super filthy. I understand it’s a moving truck and it’s impossible for it to be cleaned everyday but I know deep down that the trucks can be cleaned to a certain extent. Other than that, my experience was good. To conclude, more employees are needed at this location because it took so long for me to be attended to when I came to pick up the truck.

I reserved the trailer 60 miles from this location, only to be told the day before pickup that I had to drive all the way to another location to pick up. Why can't U-haul get a handle on where their equipment is located?
