I think this lot could stand to be paved a bit, as the â€œlipâ€ from the curb to the lot was steep and I worried about taking it in the UHaul. Neither the UHaul nor my car seemed damaged by the uneven pavement, but a lower car would've had a problem I think.

Moving blankets dirty and infested with pests. Unusable and a waste of money. Bed of truck had roaches crawling throughout.
The check in process was most confusing. I wish I would have known the process in advance.
Have now used the 4 x 8 fiberglass body trailer twice and really like them. Service at Tri-State has always been good and I am a frequent (monthly) customer for 3 years renting trailers as well as vans & trucks..
The corporately-issued after-hours dropbox has two slots: one labeled for the contract and one for the keys. Today's key/fob combination is too large to fit into the key slot forcing the dealer to create an innocuous, unlabeled tear in the back corner of the box (literally and probably made by pliers and a crowbar), hidden, but the only place where the key can go. The good folks here attempted to point that out that the key had to go in "the back", but the configuration of the company-issued box makes "the back" seem to be the narrow slot, which is, in fact, behind the contract slot. When the key did not fit into the narrow slot labeled "keys", I felt I had no alternative but to lock the key in the rental vehicle which turned out to cost me or the rental agency a trip from a locksmith. This is a corporate, not a local problem that would seem to be a widespread issue for your dealers. Please help your dealers and renters by updating the box. Again the local folks tried to work around the issue as best they could but the only solution left to them is not very customer friendly. The equipment itself and the courtesy of the dealer were both excellent.
The truck was a piece of junk and leaked all over my merchandise.
Explain how to use the online check in. I didnt know I had to take pics and take pics while the truck is on. I had already placed my key in the drop box. Had to pay a $20 convenience fee. Lesson learned.

This location is great! Do not use online or Uhaul customer service. They are not helpful and are rude.
Pickup location is great. Uhaul customer service is really disappointing. They told me uhaul does not guarantee equipment type or pickup time. They agree to have something for on the day requested. Called tri-state and they said they had the equipment request on site and was available for pickup at my requested time. Traffic and customer service said it was not available until 4:00 in the afternoon. Call Penske, people are more helpful than Uhaul.
I did online application and selected the truck and insurance, gave my license and other options, but when I went to pick the truck I had to answer same questions about options all over. Why do online booking if my choices are not saved?
The issue is UHaul not the location. You sent me to 4 different pickup locations and 130 miles of unnecessary travel. Each location showed the product I needed and either DID NOT have it or it was reserved. You owe me 130x 0.56 cents per mile for completely wasting my time and fuel.
