In person experience was great. Busy location but everything was running smoothly. The app and website however was not very smooth. Hard to navigate. Could use improvement for sure. Should also mention equipment I was planning on renting wasn't available when I got there. Was planning on this for my move so made things difficult. Would have been nice to know the items weren't guaranteed.
Line up took a really long time. I was supposed to have the online pickup so I wouldn't have to wait, but I still had to wait in line and get the key from the counter. After locating the truck, it was dirty and full of old items in the back. (Microwave, washing machine, etc) Although the employees were fantastic and got us another truck right away, we still had to wait in the long line a second time. All of this taking us almost an hour and delaying us.
Light in truck storage area did not go on. And the seat belt casing was missing on drivers side. But in general everything else appeared to work okay. Thanks

The bricks on the truck were gone
Considering when you drop the truck off you have to follow a 1-way path, and sometimes the path is blocked and you have to reverse out, maybe have some sort of sign that lets drivers know before hand. Backing out with a 15' truck is not easy on a 1 way road.
The online part was the issue.....we reserved a week prior by phone and were told we needed to download the app for "easy access" to the truck. When I went to merge the reservation number with my online account it wouldn't let me i called in and was advised to cancel the order and reserve again in the app with my account. When I processed new reservation we were informed they didnt have a truck at that location anymore and I explained to them that I had a reso and canceled it so we could use the same truck and he said no you can't, the closest truck was 20min drive from my location.....whatever....it happens extra cash out of my pocket for kms.... I am sent a link the night prior to verify my license and provide pictures of it which I do. I get there at my reservation time, half hour before my elevator is booked....well go figure the app asks me to repeat the photo and photo of licenses (wondering were the first ones I sent went to...its a drivers license photo after all) and the app will take my photo but won't apply it in the app it just keeps resetting so I spend 45 min downloading and Uninstaller and re installing and resetting my phone ect.....trying to find help but by this time the one worker doing returns has a line to the road and the line up at the counter is out the door... An hour and 20 mins goes by it finally manages to work...another 20 mins because I kept being issued trucks that weren't on the lot......then im told my account now needs to be verified.....another 20 mins so we are OVER 2 hours....... After the verification process I am told to find a uhaul employee and get my keys.....only no reps are available and that requires me to stand in line.........my whole world came crashing down around me by this point and I legit almost melted into the concrete. I missed my reserved elevator, had to pay a 200$ fine to strata to extend. I've walked in to rent trucks alot of times and honestly this whole truck share nonsense was the WORST experience of my life....... Its not quick and easy and convenient.....its a headache and ruined my day.
Odometer reading was not correct. I drove less than 35 km but was billed for 80 km. Also the gas tank reading was not at half as noted on the document so I spent $25 getting it back up to half a tank. Cost of rental was double what it should have been when KM and gas was added. Attendant suggested I inspect for body damage but he did not remind me to confirm mileage and gas tank reading.

A bit of a wait to be served by the counter person and the another wait for the truck to be ready - meanwhile the clock is ticking on my rental. Lots of emply trucks on the lot so why I needed to wait for this one to be cleaned I don't know. THe online app pickup did not work - kept saying I was not at the right location and even when i scanned the QR code it would not work. Other than that - ok. Have rented from here before and will again.
DO NOT RESERVE A LOCKER, they will not hold it for you. Terrible customer service from the office staff. Staff on the lot are very nice.
My reservation was repeatedly changed to a different location and time without my consent. The person we worked with at the desk was rude and unreasonable - she insisted that we bring the truck back hours before our original reservation, which was impossible because we had booked ferry tickets based on the original reservation we had made weeks prior. We eventually got what we needed, but in the meantime our moving helpers were waiting and we lost precious packing time. The whole process of getting the truck was a mess and I will not be using UHaul again.
Waited 45 minutes for my truck to be brought around, was still dirty, stank, the "estimate" for refueling was a ripoff and made me fill 1/4 tank more than I needed to. Horrible experience at every level.

Improve your self-pick up service. I had to wait for 1 hour at the spot in cold weather because the service agent "Randi" who was on chat with me took 20 minutes to reply to my messages. It took 1 hour to get approval for renting the truck. The replies were so delayed. That was such a bad experience.
Location was overloaded with rental vehicles and no where to park
Equipment was not as represented/advertised. Measurements were off and did not fit a queen bed. That required me to make additional trips (and thus go over on the mileage!) Counter staff was okay, but people getting the vehicles were rude. I hate the nickel and diming. Don't charge a hidden $5.00 fee. Don't nickel and dime on mileage (it is says 1000km free, that means 1000 km, not 999 km). Equipment was dirty (outside) and not sanitized (everything was sticky). Overall, a bad experience.
When I got there I signed in using the app. I hit "I've found my truck" and the rental started. Then 2 other guys with paperwork showed up with the we truck number on it. I was told to go wait in the giant line inside to sort it out. That wasted a ton of time. If you can't get the app to work properly, stop wasting people's time and just tell them to wait in the line from the start. Then when I returned the truck, the guy wanted to charge me $25 to fold 4 blankets. I probably will never rent from this uhaul location again.
The truck needs maintenance. The engine shut off at stop lights worked twice the entire time and there is a noise from the engine during acceleration. The cleanliness was appalling, my estimate from the level of dirt on the exterior and grime inside, it has not been detailed in months.
