Fuel level and odometer should be exactly matched with what is in documents, But it wasn’t.

Location was quite busy, took a long time to get the vehicle

Nothing It was great

It was very disappointing to have the location of our truck rental changed and then be charged for gas and fill up service fee despite refilling the tank ourselves.

Service was slow and they didn’t seem friendly.

Do not double charge customers who do not have smart phones and data.

Process of renting was quick and efficient. Emailed the manager because I was overcharged for fuel, but did not get a reply. Gets what you need done, but a proper charge and follow up would be nice.

Not so much an improvement as a compliment to your call centre personnel, Destiny (?) I think was her name, she was courteous and proficient and just a pleasure with whom to discuss our problem. She could be giving workshops to your new employees. In fact all three of the people we contacted, I was roped into helping move a hoarder, were really good. Same for the two guys who both set up nad disconnected our trailer. Thanks, Daryl Wakeham

Tour manager and ground crue was not very helpful. I wanted them to help load my Car on trailer but they wanted me to do it myself. Nobody told first that it can be done behind the building. They wanted me to take the truck in one round to the back, then take my car to the back. Load it all myself. People who use U-Haul are not experts. Ordinary people need expert’s advice, how to load and how to tie-up the vehicle. When I declined to take their truck then they helped. Not a very cooperative staff.

Don't claim you'll be charging one fee then charge a higher fee when the vehicle is picked up.

I called 30 minutes after I returned my rental as I had left my $150 dollar pallets on the dash of the cargo van I rented. A note was sent to the location from the call centre as I was unable to make it back before closing. No response, no glasses, not happy I want my sunglasses back

Far, far, far from the location I thought I was renting from. They told me the pick up point had changed after I had pre-payed for it and when it was too late to make other arrangements with a different truck rental agency.Cost an additional $40 cab ride. Felt like a bait and switch. Counter woman could care less and was disinterested in the massive inconvenience this caused. Did just what she had to do but no more. Fellas in the lot were good and helpful getting the truck out.

Need to work on logistics at the location. Lots of vehicles available, but the one I was picking up was boxed in and located at the back of the building. I used mobile pickup to speed up the process, but it took almost 40 minutes before I was driving out of the lot. I've used this service in the past, so perhaps they have had changes since then. The mobile app had always been super easy to use, and I have normally used this location because they always had a truck available and I would be good to go in just 5 to 10 mins, but I was disappointed this last time.

As smart phones are increasingly being integrated into business processes... I have found this true at U-Haul as well. There were a couple moments of concern for me as I went through the process of obtaining my rental: - phone was out of battery - the functioning of U-Hauls app was not so great on an older device (iphone 6). Suggestion: - Have smart devices for customers to use while checking out

International phone support was excellent - best UHAUL experience I have had

The clerk who checked is in was amazing and so helpful. Leaving and trying to maneuver out of the crowded tight space was quite difficult.

Everything was good but the vehicle was in rough shape and not clean. We have another truck booked for a move to Ontario so we hope to get a newer truck.

Your online truck pick up process breaches my privacy. It asks for a contact person and then I find out that you actually call the person to “verify” me. I did not consent to the call. I will be making a complaint to the Privacy Commission. Besides that, the online pick up process asks for a birthdate. The field says dd/mm/yyyy. However it only accepts month/day/year. After spending five minutes guessing that, it finally worked. How can you have such a basic flaw. In addition, I still have to stand in line even though it says to go to the “side counter” which doesn’t exist. Then, the truck that was assigned to me was damaged and they had to assign a new one. How do you not know what trucks are operational. Isn’t that your core business. Lastly I finally get a new truck and then the person outside asks for a text???? I didn’t receive a text. He said it was for the vehicle inspection. He calls to the front and five minutes later a text shows up. So all this took almost an hour. And then I receive an automated text saying the truck is due back at 4 pm when I didn’t get it until almost 1 pm due solely to your incompetence. It’s a four hour rental which is a breach of contract. The online pickup is a complete waste of time.
