Fast, easy, great service.
Even though I called in advance to leave a message, and also called and talked to employee to remind them to give me the equipment (e.g. pads) because I was doing self checkout due to time required before they opened, they still did not give me my equipment.
Although the entire U-Haul web was down and we had to wait a day to make our move, the personnel at the Rira Ranch location were very helpful and did everything they could to give as a great experience. The were great, despite the lack of support from U-Haul.

The lady made us wait until she checked out the price that we were given on our contract. She just didn't understand why we were paying $250 instead of $1009. She intentionally insulted me by calling my husband my son then tried to apologize. I didn't not like her attitude at all.

Make sure whoever checks out the trucks cleans them inside the cab besides that will always rent my trucks there or vans.

I drove the truck for 50 miles AND I HAD TO PUT $30.00 of gas in. Was I ripped off????
the straps on the auto transport were very frayed and were dangerous. also the safety chains were not put on the frame.
The vans check engine light was on, low gas, the dolly I rented wasn't there and still haven't gotten my money back after talking to someone. And your web site was not very helpful. Over all my day was a waste without the dolly as they don't open till nine, 3 hours after i needed it

Equipment wasn't ready. Rental for 9am, after 10am departure.
i SCHEDULED FOR A PICK UP AT 8 AM AND THE KEY WAS NOT IN THE LOCK BOX. i HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE OFFICE OPENED TO BE ABLE TO RENT THE VAN. i GOT NOTHING BUT EXCUSES FROM THE OFFICE MANAGER, WHICH ONLY BLAMED UHAUL FOR THE MISTAKE.
Minor item. We showed up to return the vehicle during business hours, about 30min before they closed but they were already gone.

The staff at this location were excellent - very helpful. Though I had to call the toll free number for Uhaul and they couldn't help me, when I called this location back, they got the issue fixed right away.
The truck ran very rough. The gears were slipping, definitely needed work. The truck was very clean and smelled fresh! The check in process was not very smooth. I arrived followed the directions, then it couldn't be authorized... then an hour or two later someone finally called me back and I spent 30 minutes on the phone while he fought with the system to get me authorized... he did great! The return process was easy! Need to work on the check in process and mechanical maintenance of the vehicle... don't tell someone to enter the building for assistance if they're is nowhere to enter and no one that physically works there. Correct these items and I would give you 5 stars all the way!
I returned the truck and auto transport a day early, in perfect condition, with a full tank of gas. I am still waiting for the location manager to check the equipment back in. By the way, if there's any problems, I have video and photos of the above equipment. The guy at this location didn't help at all during the return of truck and trailer and would not even check me back in when requested. This is very different than past experience with uhaul and I've been using uhaul for over 40 years. Look it up and verify all my past rentals. Times change but good old fashioned customer service and common courtesy should not.
