I found the 10' box truck to have a very small cab. I'm only 6-1 but am over 200 lbs. Would not have rented for longer than 60 Mile drive. No leg room. You need someone who knows the trucks and pricing not cheapest employee.

I was just charged a $50 fuel fee and we returned the truck OVER the amount required. I am furious.

The reservation was incorrectly entered in the computer. I didn’t purchase the Safe Move insurance and was already applied to my order. I was also quoted a fee at the initial reservation and was different at pick up. The employee assisting in the transaction did not know how to resolve the issue. It was very frustrating. One employee in particular was very impatient and not very professional when dealing with customers.

Uhaul kept changing my pick up time 3 times and I had moving people hired on the clock I had to pay them extra because of overtime. Who will take this responsibility. I was promised a different location at 1 pm them it changed to 1:30 pm and the I got the car at 3:30 pm. It’s very un pleasant and unprofessional of U-Haul.

Warn that picking up via smart phone takes about 30 minutes. Also, my pickup location was changed the day before my reservation without notice to another facility 30 minutes away. I had to get a smaller truck in order to avoid the longer drive and consequently had to take two trips instead. Very frustrating.

They did not have the truck I requested they charged me again even though I had already paid for the truck. Not I am in a fight with the credit card company to get my money back. I ran overtime with the movers because they were unprepared and slow. And the over estimated the gas in the tank I would NEVER EVER use or recommend them

Have the vehicles cleaned in between, the can had dog hair in it and smelled funny. Otherwise it was a great experience.

used van for 2.5 hours on 6/23. confirmed what should be charged on bill on Saturday, June 23 at 1 p.m.. when I got home, the billing was incorrect. returned to location at 5 p.m. on 6/23to correct bill. charged $30 additional. was told to come back next Tuesday, 6/26 since person in charge left for the day. Not acceptable.

The person at the location had no idea of what to do. I arrived at 10 am and did not get keys to truck until 10:50. Many phone calls back and forth. Furthermore, I was told that I did not need to bring my own ezpass with me ( since I was travelling from maryland to NJ and ( customer service)to my dismay - that was UNtrue. Horrible customer service

After dropping off the vehicle it was not clear which building and entrance to use to drop off the keys. Better signage or instructions for drop-off would make the experience better.

Only complaint I have is that they should explain you Have to go inside Liquor Store. We walked around 2 buildings looking for the Uhaul place. That's all.

I was supposed to originally pick my rental up at the U-Haul of Golden Ring address (about 5 mins from my destination) at 7am June 2, 2018. I was supposed to have my rental until Monday June 4, 2018. I received an email the day before confirming my pickup at that location, with 134 miles to use before I got charged anything over. I received a phone call from a number in towson, MD that did not leave a message, I called back and got no reply. I arrived at the U-haul in golden Ring at 7am, per my email. They informed me that they changed my location the night before and I was now supposed to go to the E Joppa Street in towson (20 mins from my original location and an extra 25 mins to where I needed to be). I went to the E Joppa street location and there was no one there, I called and got no one. AT this time at this time it is approaching 8:30 ( I was supposed to get it at 7am, I had to be out of my rental home by 2pm). I called uhaul customer service and was on hold for 15 mins before speaking to someone. I explained the situation and she gave me the information about how to get into the truck using the 24/7 App and gave me a $50 credit. One finally into the vehicle 2 hours after my initial pickup time, the app alerted me that I only had 24 hours to return the vehicle and not my original 2 days. I was also not compensated in mileage for the extra drive to my destination, even though my original was only 5 mins away. I was late to the rental property and therefore late moving my things out by 2pm and got charged a late fee for not having my things out in time. I had to call Uhaul customer service again to get my date changed to drop off on Monday June 4. I got charged for going 29 miles over the limit they gave me, which was caused by having to travel farther to the uhaul site to pick up the truck and my original location. I had a horrible experience. I had a limited amount of time to get what I needed to done. I was traveling from over 100 miles away to move my things and the whole process on U-haul's end made my move that much worse. I have not received my $50 credit, which does not even amount to what I had to pay or the time I lost because of all of their mix ups.

The drop off was inside a liquor store. There was no staff available to inspect the truck. When asked for assistance, I was told just to leave the key and I would receive an email and then the man just walked away. The staff was more concerned with selling their liquor versus wanting to wait on someone who was returning a truck. Very unprofessional.

Charged and additional 2.00 for something unexplained. Did not clean the snow from the truck they rented me. Took an additional 15 min to clean it. Left a sheet of ice on the roof of the truck can that came crashing down as soon as I pulled out of the parking spot. Horrible experience.

Was disturbed to find a 2-gallon fuel charge for a total rental travel of 10 miles. This, after having put 2 gallons of fuel back in tank before returning vehicle - and informing clerk that I had done so.

truck was never cleaned. there was a in-eaten cheeseburger on the door handle. There was gum stuck on the steering wheel which ruined by new gloves. There were also brown stains all over the passenger interior door. I have p ictures if needed. The people there were very unprofessional and unapologetic. At one point they even blamed me.
