My reservation was canceled without my knowledge and there was no compensation for it. I had to call myself and inquire of my reservation and was initially told no trucks were available of the size I wanted and if I wanted a bigger truck I'd have to pay the difference in fee. I was then told by another U-haul rep that there was a program that I'd get $50 credit if my reservation was canceled due to a U-haul lack of equipment but I never got that as the rep I was transferred to and store manager didn't know about this. Store manager (that helped us) was not very friendly either. Just disappointed with the overall experience.

I turned in the truck a day early. Apparently the guy at the desk forgot to â€œcheck me inâ€ I was called the next day for a missing truck which I had parked at the return location. Went inside turned in keys watched him fill in my info. And marked it as returned on the uhaul website and somehow it was not checked in?
Well I tried to call before I went to pick up the truck and was on the phone for 15 mins and no one answered. It was a recording that they were assisting other customers. When we got there there were 2 people at the desk and I dont believe that they had any intentions on answering the phone.
Tried multiple times to make phone calls to this facility. No one ever answered. Ordered online which was smooth. However there was no customer service when we picked up the truck. Rude and very impersonal and very unprofessional!!
Gentlemen was very very friendly that showed me how to hookup trailer.

Not charge for 2 days when I spoke to some one and told them we would have it back by 5pm . Absolutely ridiculous
I set the pick up time for 12pm to pick up a 20' truck, and I have the e-mail to show it. When I got there I was told that I wasn't supposed to pick up the truck until 1:45 and a woman had the truck and wanted to keep it 3 days longer. There was no guarantee that she was going to show up on time with the truck so I had to get a different size truck. I didn't have much of a choice other than to get a different size truck. I HAD to move my stuff out that day and needed the truck at 12 like I originally scheduled.

Reserved online 9ft van they gave my a big box truck Asked them way said I don't know. Truck box was dirty and I had to sweep it out before I could even use it.
Customer service was great. However, my uhaul door would not closed. When I got the truck and drove off excited to be moving to my new home. The door was open. I was not able to close the door at all during my move. When I return the truck the representative struggled to get the door closed. I was afraid I would loose my fingers trying to shut the door. I was not satisfied with the quality of the drunk.
The vehicle horn did not work The cruise control did not work The info button for mileage & miles to empty did not work so I could not tell how many miles I had left until I needed to fill up
I was not told I would be charged $25 for cleaning and was not told about after hours fees to drop off. I will not rent from you again due to this and having $45 extra taken from my account that I was not expecting.
I feel like i was overcharged and the person explained it to me told me I would only be charged what he charged and that the initial purchase was a temporary hold. So far theyve just kept all the money. Not sure why I was charged for an extra day when the initial purchase covered the 2 days. Misleading and rediculous!
Not one thing. The associates were helpful and courteous, and the Cargo Van drove like a dream.

My complaint is not with the pick up location vender. My complaints are about UHaul.com. These men were just doing their job. They felt the brunt of the poor rental process.
Actually keep the reservations that people make so they don't have to scramble around at the last moment in the middle of an already very stressful time!
