Make sure the gas gauge reading is correct. I drove your van 8 miles, put in a gallon of gas to replace the gas i used and they still charged me 10.50 for gas they said i didnt replace. The gas gauge didnt move and was higher when i brought it back. Have reciept for gas. I owned a transit van like this and averaged 14mpg in town. So how the hell do you figure your milage out. The girl i talked to was great. James is cool, but the self described "confrontational" guy was a arrogant cocky prick. 3.5 gals of gas to go 8 miles? Wrong!!! So what can UHaul do to improve? Quit hiring cocky.assholes and quit ripping people off, and i may come back

The vehicle i rented either had and idle air control issue or a throttle body positioner sensor that needed to be replaced, was obvious by the extreme lack of power from cold start, which also affects fuel economy. The window fell off of the track about 70 miles into my trip which was very inconvenient as it was cold and raining at the beginning of my trip, then 90 degrees while i was stuck in stand still traffic later in the day, with no ac. It was obvious from the poor job done replacing the paneling on the door that this had been an issue before for someone else. Furthermore I was given a piece of paper that indicated how much gas i would need to put in the tank to get it to an acceptable point for returning the vehicle, to my surprise I pumped the exact suggested amount and it filled the tank 1/8th of a tank more than required, the chevy express i rented has a 31 gallon tank, 1/8 of a tank is 3.875 gallons at current price of $2.78 thats an extra $10.77 that I am not entitled to get back due to a clause that says uhaul does not refund overfills, which should not be the case when following uhaul filling instructions. I would probably not use a uhaul again at this point, i think i ended up paying $190 and I dont believe the vehicle or the service was worth that amount.

The computer system uses for scheduling reservations had multiple issues. There were multiple discrepancies with my reservations that the staff had to figure out. Uhaul is very lucky to have excellent customer service representatives that are able to fix the issues your scheduling system creates.

They stuck me with a dumpy trailer until I complained and refused to take it. The manager then got involved and was fabulous. He took care of me, but when I returned the trailer I was detained because of some of the incompetence of the employees until they figured out I had already rented the trailer for two days. They were wanting to charge me an extra day. Over-all I did not have a good experience at this location.

Tell customer starting and ending mileage I know I didn't do the 20 miles I thought but got charged; keep maintence up on trucks...several lights on in the truck when I got in at the Uhaul lot. Keep uhaul system updated with current records of rentals available when you go into the store and told "none available" then go online and there are several available of the sz needed.

that you tell people your business hours, how late you are open. We did come in 10 minutes before closing because of the bad weather. You did hook up our trailer earlier than we had planned, but that was a great blessing for us. We went from freezing wind-chills to 64 degrees and sunshine. Amen! Your people need to be applauded for working in hurricane force winds and rain.

Improve your online registration...I reserved a uhaul for noon...only to find out an hour and a half before I was suppose to pick it up that it wasnt available ...people at Superior site did everything they could to make a positive solution
