The people at the superior location had the truck clean and ready to go parked at the front door,before I had even arrived.i have always used u-haul ,and will continue to use them ,thanks guys & good job

The floor appeared to be clean but while unloading my things there seemed to be a clear type grease on the floor. The grease got onto my couch feet and ruined my couch cushions and got into my carpet. Also the trailer lights where flickering when hitting bumps due to a bad wire harness that the employee had swapped from another trailer but the new one was bad to. Lastly, please check air pressure in the tires as I had to fill two of them (one on each side on opposing axels.)

The only issue was that I was told the office was open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. It closed at 7 P. M. This made it I bit more difficult for me to check out and return the truck at the end of the day.

There was a problem with the computer systems' mileage on registered on the truck. They were able to call and resolve the glitch in a timely manner. I was very happy with their timely resolution of the problem and get me back on my way.

Since comments are provided for in this survey I have to say I was blown away when I got a telephone call from U-Haul at about 1:30 on the daye scheduled for the trailor pick up. The reservation was originally scheduled for about 10:00 that morning but I ran into some delays that put me behind about 5 hours. The call was to inquire whether or not I was going to pick up the equipment;of course I was and, in fact, we were on our way at that very minute. But I was quite impressed and found it very customer friendly to call to make sure I was still planning on picking up the trailor. Beyond this, the folks at the Superior location are extremely courteous and friendly. I would certainly recommend U-Haul to any of my friends ever planning a "self move." I cannot comment on the Ashland location where the equipment was dropped off because my friend (the gentleman who had a qualified truck for this job) took it in for me. Thank You!

I wasn't happy that I got a call from uhaul saying that my reservation was switched to another location 20 miles out of my way, so 40 miles round trip the day of the reservation. The manager wouldn't even work with me to get it dropped off at a closer location. NOT HAPPY!!!

The manager, James, is incredibly rude & arrogant. I would never recommend this location to anyone I care about. Not only were the tires on the truck worn down, they were also summer tires. I rented for an in town move & it was snowing. The truck's bald summer tires caused major problems with this move, one being I had to park the truck at my clients home & wait until the next day to finish the move. I had to wait for the snow to melt. It was not a blizzard, it was a mere 1-2 inches. James did not think it was reasonable for me to A) expect snow tires on a local move rental truck or B) that his employees should inform renters that their trucks do not have snow tires.James belittled me & mocked me for these assumptions, then hung up on me when I became aggravated by his disrespect. I read the 4 reviews of his U-Haul shop & even though he has 2.2 out of 5 stars, I rented anyway. In hindsight I should've listened to the reviews & rented elsewhere. I have started a new business & told James I would be renting from him often, that I had already rented twice in one week. Once last week for a one way to Chicago, then this week for an in town move. I told him it was very shortsighted of him to not consider my points & try & work with me, as I would be bringing his shop much more business. James refused to accommodate me in any way shape or form, & he continued disrespecting me. I spent over an hour on the phone with 3 different representatives from 800 number call center. The first one I did not get her name, but the 2nd & 3rd were Shelly & Wanita. Shelly gave me her extension #861068 & told me to call her back if I had any more problems with James. All 3 of the call center employees were very sympathetic with my situation & all 3 said it was not unreasonable for me to expect snow tires on a local move truck or if there weren't snow tires, for the employees to inform the renter that the truck may not be safe to drive in snowy condition due to the lack of snow tires. They gave me the simple courtesy & respect that any customer should be given & I truly appreciated their assistance. Thank you for any consideration you give this. Respectfully Michael Craven
