If the customer refills the gas and it very close to the required fill line, but just very slightly shy; don't nitpick and charge them the $5 + additional $20 penalty fee. Moving is expensive and stressful enough, please don't add to the stress of nitpicking the the small bill. I am totally broke after my move, especially during the pandemic situation. You won't lose money by waiving the penalty fee and $5.

You need an after hours phone # listed on paperwork. We rented an appliance dolly but realized that when we returned the truck that the back don't lock and that's where we had to leave the dolly. And another thing is we think we left the hinge to our refrigerator in there but couldn't check because the business was closed (this is Saturday evening and won't open until Monday) and we didn't want to get into trouble for being on the property after hours. So all of our food went bad. So you really need the phone rerouted to your cell phone when you have trucks coming back after hours. Thank you.

It took 24 minutes to get an approval on the smartphone pickup after I entered all the information. If it really takes that long show a status bar on the screen because I thought it wasn't working right
Closed when unit returned, the web based return system did not work. Spoke with Nick's auto the next day and all is good.
Totally not Nick's Auto's fault but I had requested to pick up somewhere else and they were overbooked so I was moved. Totally fine and I did get an email but a voice mail would have been better since I missed it. But the people at pickup were very nice!

Website and use of the app was inconsistent. Website should state online pickup times out and locks out if not on time. I had to call customer service to reset my pickup time (1 hour later). Once this was done worked smoothly. Customer Service was helpful.

Location was closed at 4pm on Saturday when I returned the truck. Left keys in drop box.
I understand there is only one representative assisting customers and when I picked up the truck she was very busy. I feel a portion of the process was not explained. When I walked to the truck I feel if I did not ask questions nothing would have been shared. When I returned the truck the same woman assisted me. She was pleasant and helpful.
The tail light did not work correctly.
The truck was in great shape. It is obvious that U-Haul has an effective maintenance and inspection program. As an aircraft inspector I tend to notice these conditions.
The truck was badly out of alignment. The headlights were too dim and the windshield wipers didnâ€™t work hardly at all.
Only thing that threw me off was the great big dog that greated me when I walked in, but everything else was fine.
Excellent customer service and help with an extension of the number of days I had with the truck!
