I ordered a hitch to put on my car through the call center. They told me that one location had the part and that they would send it to springfield location. I agreed told them if they could not have it done call me. They did not part was reserved for some one else at the other store part never made it to sringfield store. Not knowing this went to have hitch installed witch it was but no wiring for the lights. Jim told us that he was sorry and that he ordered the part come back we should have the part. Went back the next day vendor never sent it. Anyways one week after we got it all. Well job done thanks to the manager Paul Murphy and his fine employees a bad experience turn out alright. So after all this I would recommend that U-haul has the call center talk to the locations instead of just saying everything is set. Paul and his employees went above and beyond and I went back to rent trailer. People like these will keep customers coming back. Call Center Needs Work.

I’ve rented several trailers from this location during the past month- each time, the transaction was extremely long because the employee was confused. I had several charges on my account because the employee had to redo the transaction. Most recently, I had several charges for an extension of a trailer that I had already returned. I had to go in (after I already returned the trailer) and speak with the manager Paul, who did his best to remedy the situation, and was helpful. However, these charges shouldn’t have been there in the first place. Each time I’ve used this location, it has been an inconvenience.

We had a 10am reservation...finally at approx 1045 we were helped. Now the whole time the Manager...Paul Murphy...sat at his computer. There were several people in line. The 23 year old that helped us was excellent. The Mgr very rude. When we returned the truck the Mgr was about to leave..his attitude totally changed....under pressure not good...no pressure friendly? Hmm...not the kind of people skills he needs. We will either use another location or different service next time

I was charged 25 dollars for "fuel" even though I filled the truck right to where it was with fuel when I received it. I still have not heard from the "customer service rep" that is apparently supposed to be contacting me. I would like my money back and some sort of reimbursment or something.

The service was excellent, and so were the truck/trailer. Even after we misheard each other and wasted a LOT of time on the wrong truck, the manager was super patient and fixed everything,including giving me the lower price, even though it was almost closing time on xmas eve and a lot less patience would've been understandable. I'll be back for sure.

I definitely would not recommend this location to anyone. They charged me for two gallons of gas when I brought the van back with more fuel than what I took it with. Even after showing them before and after pictures they still said the van had more fuel when I picked it up. Keep the $8.50 scammers

I did over state what our milage was going to be and am hoping I see a credit on my original charge total...but other than that there is nothing I can say we were disappointed in....

I reserved a truck online for a 7:30 pick up, showed up at 7:35 the door was locked and the manager told me the system was already closed and he didn't even have a truck for me at all. So because he wanted to close early I had to come back the next morning at 7 a.m. and start the whole process over again and wasted a bunch of time. Not very professional, not very happy

The return process was horrible. We pull up to the return area to return our trailer, where there are multiple signs saying to stay with the vehicle and someone will be with over to assist you. We wait for 10 mins before having to go inside to get someone to help us. 1 employee was walking around doing nothing and the other 2 were with customers. They finished up with there customers and told us we had to move the trailer and drop it ourselves. Very rude to deal with. Will. It be back to this location again
