I had previously made a reservation to pick up a uhaul about 30 minutes away. We showed up and were informed by a call from the owner of the site that we could not get keys for the unit because he did not do pickups on this day. Luckily, this site in Springfield was nothing but helpful and got us everything we needed. Still upset that the original reservation was such a mess, but this location in Springfield is fabulous.

When you schedule rentals online you get what you ask for or at a minimum a email phone calling letting you know that items are unavailable at the location you selected on line.

You dropped the ball big time. I was first directed to pick up my equipment in garden city Ga. arrived at the pick up time of 9:00 am. no equipment was there. I was then directed to the Springfield GA location to pick up the truck. 30 miles out of my way and they didn't open until 11:30am. I had helpers scheduled for 11:00 that morning and I was also not given the packing blankets i had ordered. I then had to go to another location to pick up the trailer. They couldn't get their computer to work so I was sent to another location. We were not able to load until 5:00pm and we had to be out of our house that day and ready for a 1500 mile move. Your service was horrible and I want compensation for the unnecessary stress you put us through. You've gotten to big, it's no longer about the customer but your company.

The bill is in question. I have rented several Uhauls recently and this was the most expensive. The paper work and per my conversation with the agent, my bill should have been around $167.00 but I was charged over $400.00. I contacted the local store and spoke with the agent and she stated that is was due to the insurance and other fees. The rental before this was for less than $160.00 so you can understand why I am alarmed. The bill is also in two separate charges, one for $127.33 and the other for $276.28. I have never been billed this way before. I will take up with my complaint with your management and better business bureau.

I reserved a dolly when I made the online reservation, but they did not have any at the pickup location. That would have been useful information to have before hand so that I could have secured a dolly from somewhere else.
