Was to pick up at 10 AM, would not release due to computer problems, offered to pay upfront they said no. Had five people waiting to help move and they sat there all day until 5 PM and I had to pay for nothing. At 5:15 PM told me I could pay cash and take truck. Took their offer. Used their recommended moving men the next day and they never showed at 10 AM the next day so had to scramble to find a new crew. The third day their recommended movers called and said they would be there at 2 PM problems; again called at 2:30 PM and advised they wouldn't get there until 4:30 PM. Enough details, this is the worse experience I have ever had. Feel they should highly compensate for their screw ups and should get a new list of recommended movers. Will never use them again even if I have to buy a truck.

We (Archer High School band) were initially scheduled to rent a truck from the Hwy 124 location in Snellville, which is where we rent from on a weekly basis during football season. There was a truck reserved for us but we received a call late in the morning stating that the truck would not be available because the customer who had it wanted to keep it for another day. So we were told that we would have to change to the Hewatt Rd location. My original plan to pick up the truck was to pick it up when I had a ride to the location at 3:30 which would provide a very small window of time to get the truck and make it to the high school where it needed to be loaded with band equipment and ready to leave by 4:30. Luckily I was able to find someone (at a great inconvenience to them) to come and pick me up at noon to go pick up the truck because the Hewatt Rd location is so far out of the way to the school that I would have never made it and our band equipment would have been late arriving at the game if I had to pick it up when I had originally planned. In my opinion, when UHaul is not able to fulfill a commitment to a customer (especially a regular customer like us), then UHaul should transfer a vehicle from another location. Forcing us to go to Hewatt Rd not only inconvenienced my parents who gave me a ride there, but it also caused us to drive more miles which we are billed for by UHaul. I also called in to the customer service line on Friday to see if we could return the UHaul to the original Hwy 124 location and was told "NO". So we had to drive farther on Saturday to return it. I think this is all incredibly bad customer service. In addition .... there was an odor in the back of the truck that smelled like someone had been hauling dead bodies around. It was terrible and seriously almost made some of our band parents ill. It was obvious that the store knew about this odor before hand because I noticed that the door of the truck was open in the parking lot when the attendant went to get it. Of course he closed it before bringing it over to me. Overall, this was a horrible experience with UHaul, which is uncharacteristic of what we have experienced until now but is leading us to consider other alternatives for the rest of the football season and upcoming years.

You can stop trying to get over on your customers, you know the people who keep you crooks in business. I will never ever as long as I live rent anything from your company. I drove six miles in a rental truck and was charged seven bucks for gas after I put eight dollars in the tank. You will never get the chance to screw me over ever again!

Provide adjust side view mirrors to support driver in seeing surroundings. Dude view mirrors had 2 options. I was forced to drive without side view mirror view. This is not only dangerous, but out right STUPID. Brakes are beyond sensitive. I wear a size 4.5 shoe. I tapped the breaks to slow due for a ted light and without my seatbelt, so would have been thrown through the windshield.

First of all, Eric Coward opened 7 minutes late, while several customers were waiting. Checking in, after they opened, went fine. Pertis Williams explained the features of the truck, so picking up went fine. When came to return truck, I waited by the sign that said to wait with the truck and someone would be out to help. I waited for 10 minutes and no help came. During that time two more customers went into the store and were helped while I still waited outside. So finally I went inside and had to wait in line behind people who came after me. Eric left the counter when I was next and said he'd be back in a few minutes, Pertis was outside and came back in asking who had the keys to the truck I rented, saying he couldn't check you out if there was no key in the truck. I took the keys inside with me rather than leaving them unsupervised in the truck. I gave him the key and told him how long I had been there and that two people had been helped that came in after I had. He didn't seem to care ,he told me it was his day off and was just there to help Eric. I said that they should hire more people. Then he said that Uhaul was cutting hours. I don't see how you would expect one person to run this business alone.
