The staff was about 30 min late to help me with my 9am reservation. Not off a great start. I waited outside the location until someone showed up. I returned it late at night, left the truck right in front of the store where I had picked it up that morning, and left the key in the after-hours key drop. Two days later, I received an alert that my u-haul was not returned. I had to call and resolve the issue. I was very disappointed in the location. It appears that the staff does not know how to properly do their jobs.

Mileage out was mis-recorded. Spoke to rental location twice and was told that it'd be taken care of. A month later and now they're telling me I need to call corporate. Reference customer action file 1229815. As a frequent user of U-Haul, I don't have any reason to misrepresent myself on this. Not feeling like a valued customer.

Quick and polite service at Treasure Island, thank you! Originally I reserved online, the confirmation call the day before didn't mention anything about a location change (Valencia to Treasure Island). The Valencia clerk was ambivalent and didn't care. I don't know where the breakdown occurred.

System wasn't working, so we had to wait around for about 10 minutes. Not the employee's fault I don't think, but streamlining these processes would make for a better customer experience. Also, creating a method online for inputting anticipated mileage so cost isn't as much of a shock once mileage charges are added.

The car was dirty at all, The staff was not helpfull They did not have the dolly I ordered online The truck did not have 1/4 gas when I get it, it was almost empty. They told I have to turn it back with 1/4 tank gas and when I said I'll return it with the same level, he told me that's UHaul's stupitidy not their, if so who is that location and who is U-haul, this is my first and last U-haul rental,

U haul sent me 2 confusing email the night before I was to pick up the truck I reserved. This last minute changes can definitely result to a lot of frustration specially if the person does not open the emails the night before their move only to find out that the truck is not where they initially thought it was. The location should not change at least 12 hours before the scheduled pick up of at least a note in the reservation that the location of the pick up could change 12 hours before the scheduled pick up.,

This location is in a horrible location. The truck I rented was not inspected. Was able to drive it 45minutes home to find out the trailer was locked. Called Island Park and they told me to drive it back to have it cut off or cut it off myself. Had to call a locksmith to saw it off, as it was a special uhaul sold lock. Not offered compensation once, or apologized to. Horrible service, and still awaiting a call from a manager.

They tried to overcharge 2x for insurance. They inaccurately noted the mileage and amount of fuel. They innacurately noted the amount of fuel in the tank. They overcharged over $100 due to these issues. I have called over 10x today to attempt to resolve this issue. No one has picked up the phone.
