We got in the wrong truck because the salesman didn't even try to show us where the right one was. He never returned our call when we called during the day. The truck wheels were so much out of alignment we told them it was not drivable for long distances. I am sure they didn't pass that message along. Your employees are probably treated poorly which is why the poor service is passed along to us;

The trucks power steering didn’t even work, the trucks breaks were weary, the hazard lights didn’t work and stayed solid. It was extremely disappointing and made for an easy move to be a complicated one. When brought to the attention of the reps I only received $20 off. Can’t say I’m very happy with the situation.

Not only would I recommend to a friend but I would definitely go back myself. Excellent location to pick up and drop off. Pickup was seamless. I rented a trailer and the rep hooked it up to my hitch and completed the process quickly. Returning it was even faster! Excellent service!

We've rented equipment at the Salisbury MA location several times. The staff is always efficient, friendly and polite. This time, however, we had a problem which wasn't addressed in anyway. The air conditioning did not work in the truck we rented. It was a hot summer day. Consequently, our 200+ mile round trip was very sweaty and uncomfortable. The vehicle was also in serious need of a front end alignment, which we didn't know until we left the depot and were on the highway. When we told the general mgr that the AC wasn't working, she said she didn't have another truck. This was hard to believe because there were rows & rows of trucks in the lot, which I asked her about. The manager maintained there was no other truck available. She then offered a $20 discount for our inconvenience. I told her that wasn't enough due to the discomfort we were going to experience. The manager didn't offer any further consideration to make up for the broken AC. We never did receive the $20 discount or anything else for our inconvenience and discomfort on that hot summer day.

I returned my rented van prior to the time on contract but my paperwork reflects a 45 minute difference in the time (later) and therefore I was charged for 2 rental periods when I received my receipt. After 3 phone calls and lengthy wait times, I was told the "case" would need 72 hours to be resolved. I am not impressed with the customer service in general and likely will not recommend or use this service again.

I WAS A BIT NERVOUS ABOUT THIS MOVE IN GENERAL. I CONTEMPLATED HAVING FRIENDS WITH PICK UP TRUCKS HELP. THEN DECIDED TO GO WITH UHAUL. HAVING EVERYTHING ABOUT THE TRUCK RENTAL - FROM THE RENTAL PROCESS, THE VERY NICE STAFF ANSWERING MY CRAZY QUESTIONS, THE EASE OF PICK UP - ALSO WITH EXTREMELY GREAT STAFF, AND THE CLEAN AND EASY TO LOAD TRUCK , I KNOW I WENT THE RIGHT WAY BY CHOOSING U HAUL! THANK YOU.

Barely anybody working there in a Saturday, waited in line for 30 minutes to get my truck rental to be told that I needed to make sure I had it back by 1 because there were other rentals. Which would be fine if it didn’t take 30 minutes to get the rental in the first place. Was also charged an extra 25 miles because someone clearly isn’t inputting the correct mileage upon arrival. Place is ridiculous I’d rather go to Lowe’s

Everything was smooth except for the billing process. When I picked up the rental van, my Amex card had a hold placed for $84.21. When I returned the van, my card was charged $74.68, which was the final amount. The hold for the $84.21 was not released when the final amount was charged. If it is not manually released by Uhaul, the hold will still on my account for seven days. This is very inconvenient.

Had to increase truck size from 20' to 26' truck a week prior to pick up. Truck was available on stated date but auto carrier had to be picked up 40 miles away although it had been booked 10 weeks earlier.

Almost every time I use this U-Haul location (Salisbury, MA) something goes wrong. I have difficulty getting anyone at the location to answer the phone, my orders have been mixed up or unavailable, billing has been incorrect and the manager is impossible to locate. It is an extremely poorly run location.
