The equipment was clean and ran well however the van reaked of cigarette smoke which made for an uncomfortable drive.

They were short handed when I was there so there was a decent wait time and they had no access cards to the storage rooms so the one employee on duty had to let me in each time. But he did it with a smile and an apology. Very friendly staff, good equipment and clean facility. Despite the short comings, I will gladly return there again in the future.

Long wait at office, tried doing self service to check in and site would not work! Very frustrating, but gentlemen were very pleasant! Truck was very comfortable, clean and very economical. Would use again.

The $1.00 "Environmental Fee" should be fully disclosed and defined upfront. Upon returning the vehicle I inquired about this fee and it seemed the Uhaul employees did not know the purpose of charging the customer this fee. So that the customer does not feel like this is a scam, you need to do a better job educating employees and fully disclose it upfront to patrons. A better solution would be to eliminate it!

They had a lot of trouble running my credit card in the shop, eventually got past that. Otherwise, everything went smoothly, and I liked the Ford Transit F-250 van, which had a combination of good capacity and decent mileage (18mpg). Prices for the van rental and packing materials seemed fair, and it was convenient to have one-stop shopping.

One light was not working and a roller was missing on the door which caused it to jam occasionally making it impossible to close or open the door. The people at the Salisbury facility were excellent to do business with.

The facility and the Truck was clean and in perfect working order. I made my reservation on line then went in to get my keys. The only person that spoke to me was the Gentleman who was cleaning the Trucks. There were three women behind the counter all of them talking to each other. NOT ONE of them asked me if I could be helped as I stood at the counter. When I finally interrupted their conversation to ask where I could pick up the keys they were so unpleasant. This is the second experience like this from this location. The People behind the counter are a real drag to deal with. It make me want to avoid going here. Its too bad.

The driver's seat belt buckle cover was missing, exposing some sharp edges of the mechanism. The gas tank was 3/8ths full when I got it. I had no idea how much gas to put back in before I returned the truck, and I wasn't going to fill the whole tank up when I was done, so I didn't stop for gas. I was charged $30 to fill the tank. The equipment was clean. The only maintenance problem was the buckle and some cosmetic damage to the truck.

My reason for 4 stars is that the lot is difficult to maneuver and there should be a huge sign at key drop off that says "Wait! Did you take your photos for fuel and odometer and cleanliness? The people working at facility are fantastic - so friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Would love an elevator to 2nd floor units.

The service person was fine. Though no real acknowledgment of how long the line/wait was. But on a Sunday morning on Oct 1, you had only one person in the location. So it took 30-45 minutes in line before getting my truck -- after I'd made reservations and checked in online. It was ridiculously long wait.

I had a reservation for a 10am pick up. The line was 8 deep with one associate. Another arrived soon which helped. It took almost an hour to get the truck. One woman there was waiting for her storage unit and said the staff was ignoring her.
