Adrian did a wonderful job and was very helpful and friendly. I've used this Salisbury Uhaul many times and find the trucks to be well maintained but not really particularly clean: lots of dust on the dashboard and windows should probably be cleaned more often.Peter S.

I had a small problem with the way the contact was made the agent in Saulsberry mass For whatever reason put down the return place in Illinois as Dalton is about 45-50 miles from East Dundee Illinois I ask him why are you put in Bolton as my equipment return please he said don't worry when you get to where you're going you called is one 800 number and they will tell you where to return the equipment when I got to East Dundee I called her number and they were very nice but said to me you made a contract when it tells you you returned equipment to Dalton Illinois and if you don't return the equipment to Dalton Illinois you may Charge because you cannot leave the equipment anywhere you please I said I'm not leaving the Equipment anywhere I please i'm calling you to tell me where to return the equipment she said your contract says Dalton Illinois and that's why you have to return it I explain that's A long way from here he said nothing I can do that's what your contract says as a Salisbury told me to call this number and you will tell me where to take the equipment she said that's not the way we do business you have a contract you returned equipment with the contact of you I call Salsberry mass they told me he was wrong did that was an open contract and the they they supposed to tell me where to take the equipment because then in Salsburry mass Was making an open contract and the one 800 well if people they will tell me where to take the trailer turn the conversation with both salsburry mass and the 800 number they make me feel like an idiot believing the salesman in Massachusetts and now having to travel from East Dundee through downtown Chicago to return the trailer the people in Massachusetts he never making up a contract later then and tell the people the truth that when they finish with the trailer they may have to travel and long distance to return the equipment 50 miles I don't think if something fair to the customer and then not allowing me to say nothing when we talking is the rude with that I'm happy to say the lady in the one 800 allow me to return the trailer 8 miles away from where I was and I have to say thank you for that but he says that was a favor to me from the company I believe it was the right thing to do Overall I have to say thank you and I am not mad just a little disappointed on the misunderstanding but I learn something if it's not written down in paper didn't didn't happenRamon C.

STOP putting a phone number on the bottom of the contract stating it goes to the person who has handled the rental at the place of pickup of truck/van. THAT phone number does NOT go to the person designated, Adrian, as he said it would. When I could not get the key to turn in the ignition, because of a lock that automatically gets set if you push a botton by mistake during handling of the key, I was UNABLE to call the number and reach anyone. Only to be put ON HOLD. Your ON HOLD is trouble and YOU MUST do something about it. THAT button on the key needs explanation when the truck is being rented!!! please START today to solve this problem that should not be a problem at all!!Leslie N.

Fix the phone app! I tried to both check in and check out my reserved vehicle and the app wouldn't recognized my location, let me upload photos or take photos. What is the deal!MATTHEW Z.
Only difficulty was not with this location but with the app. Trying to make a reservation within the app is next to impossible given how it shuts down and sends you back to square one over & over. Reserving on the website works, but then the app REFUSES to merge said reservation onto the existing account. Go to return the truck, & the app insists that you never rented one. RIDICULOUS !!!BARRY J.
When I picked up the equipment at 5:45 PM, the two employees were complaining to each other about how late they were working, made me feel very uneasy, they also just pointed out to the parking lot when I asked for directions to the truck. I understand that times are tough for hiring people, but you may want to explain the concept of the customer service to new employees. When I returned the truck, the place was closing so the (same) employee told me just to deposit the keys in the lock box and I would get a email the next day with the total (never got that email by the way). He neglected to tell me to go to the website BEFORE returning the keys - after the fact, I assume they wanted the $20 fee to check in the truck, a little unethical- i did take a photo of the mileage and fuel level before I locked the truck and put the key in the drop box. Seeing the website on the drop box when I dropped in the key, I went home and tried to put in the information, but it wouldn't accept and info UNTIL I RETURNED TO THE U-HAUL LOCATION. back at U-Haul, the app asked me for photos of the mileage and fuel level which I could not attach, and photos of the cab which was previously locked. So in summary, incorrect instructions from the employee as to how to return the truck via the app, and a poorly designed app. Happy with the truck, unhappy with the employee and the app. I work in a technical business, if our app was as poor as the U-Haul app, we would be out of business. Suggest you get your app people to actually rent and return a truck and see how poorly it works,JOHN S.

Very efficient the young man on counter was so efficient and knowledgeable .I forget his name The 800 operator misunderstood my request and was giving me a van i had requested a small truck luckily he was able to accomodate me. . Very easy move and the truck was practically new.FIONA M.
The cargo door was very hard to raise the first six inches -- after that it was fine. If I were not a fairly strong man, I could not have raised it.James W.

I have used this place before and had no problems. This time the truck was dirty and reaked of smoke. The fuel tank light was on. I was told if I returned the vehicle with 1/4 tank I would receive a credit to the overall bill. The last bill I have seen has not been adjusted for the credit.DANIEL B.
Rented a 20 foot truck. The spring broke on the door 60 Mike's from home with the truck full of furniture. I had to spend 75 at Home Depot to block the stuff from falling out also had to cut my day short and filled the tank and couldn't even use up my gas !!Jonathan P.

I was directed to the wrong truck and don't know how the key started it but it did. After loading the key no longer worked. When I called and reported their error they did not bring me the key for the truck I was told to take. Had to have a friend pick me up drive me back to get the key for the truck I had and then take an 83.00 Uber back to the truck.Kevin K.
Truck was parked sandwiched between rows of other trucks, making pulling out of the parking spot very challenging for a novice truck driver, requiring me to get out multiple times and move the mirrors of other trucks. Unacceptable in my opinion . A truck being rented should be easily available. Furthermore, the dolly that is attached and can only be removed at cost is the most ridiculous thing I've ever encountered. It caused a problem trying to fit our couch into the back. Overall a pretty frustrating experience.DEREK G.
