Truck could have been cleaner (windows)
Very disappointed in Uhaul contacting me days prior to our move that our truck would have to be picked up and dropped off at a different location than my confirmation email alluded to. Would have been nice to have had more of a heads up.
Very impressed with the staff as they made you feel welcomed and very appreciated. I would recommend this location to everybody as the other 2 locations in st thomas aren't friendly and they give you a very cold feeling.
Overall great experience. Love the dogs but they should be trained to not jump on people, some people have allergies or fear of dogs, personal space should be respected in retail areas.
The Bill is incorrect. Note to drop off earlier then actually order. $407 bill where and how is that paid?
Even though I was sent an email to pre check in & pay b/c of COVID (which I did) I still had to wait in line for a 1/2 hr. I had 2 people ahead of me. I was then told I had to pay more $ on top of what I was already charged???!!!! Apparently the website doesn't add the taxes & â€œ$5 safety feeâ€....so I had to be charged an additional $136 on top of me already â€œpaying for my trailer rentalâ€ What a joke. The guy at the rental place was nice....just irritated with the whole experience
There were zero issues with staff. Friendly and helpful. The issue was with the trailer. I rented a 6x12 trailer with ramp. The ramp was not a full width of the trailer, so I could not get the equipment on the trailer as expected. I made a 1400km round trip to discover that fact. Paid on debit and was told I would be refunded deposit. Then called back to get deposit only to be told that a cheque would be mailed to me in a few weeks. Not a huge deal, but not the way I'm used to business working and created an extra trip and having to leave work early.

I could not sign my rental back in online after hours the, locator did not work on 2 phones. Had to go back with key.
These guys are top notch. The only reason I did not give five stars was the very frustrating UHaul return policy. I was in the parking for approx 30 mins trying to use the "easy return" app. I could not get it to work. So I was charged an extra $20 as promised. However, the woman at Sunrise was able to affect a refund, bless her cotton socks. I don't understand why UHaul insists on punishing their customers

Called to rent a pick-up truck which they did not have available but was offered a moving truck at the same $19.95 price, asked how far we'd be going said about a 100km would have the truck back in 2.5 hrs. When we returned the vehicle we were charged $116.00 for the mileage that was not included in the price, we had we had put 106km on the vehicle and filled the tank for another $38. It was not mentioned that there would be a mileage surcharge or we would not have rented the vehicle, quite shady in my opinion and will not be renting any equipment or vehicles from that location again

This was the perfect solution for my project. The staff were knowledgeable, courteous, and conscientious. All in all, a most satisfying experience. I'll recommend them to friends and avail myself of their services again if the need arises.
It took 25 minutes to go through the check-in process, I waited 25 minutes in line for her to deal with one other customer. She had to call someone else 3 times to make changes because somehow my entire reservation was incorrect and didn't match the original reservation I made. If I weren't detail oriented, I would have been charged $70 more than I should have. The whole process, start to finish is god awful. What is the point of asking for a pickup location if you're going to give me one 40 minutes away and then tell me the DAY BEFORE? Most people make plans in advance for their moving day. Also, the return glitched and said it wasn't complete. Meanwhile it actually was, so I had to call customer support to ensure it went through properly. Honestly, Uhaul get your SHIT together. I'll be looking at other companies next time I move. What a way to add to the stress of moving.
