Be sure to check van tire tread, van was slippery & especially on turns. Also suggest giving instructions on moving mirrors for visibility. Staff was VERY professional, helpful, and location excellent. No waiting for help.

The man who helped us at the Picard location was so quick and very nice! It was the complete opposite with the gentleman at the 15211 Frederick location. He turned us away because he was expecting other trucks. This didn’t make sense as we were physically there before his other trucks. This is to let you know that most of your employees are wonderful! Thank you

I have had such a great experience with UHaul! Great customer service, rental vehicles are in excellent condition, easy process for online reservation and pick-up. The only challenge that I have had on my last two rentals is that I was not able to use the online after-hours vehicle-return portal. I kept getting a message that the system was not able to access my phone’s location services and there was no way to circumvent this step to continue the process of checking the vehicle back in. Other than that glitch, I am very happy with my experience!

The plastic surfaces including the steering wheel, dash and the door handles were dripping with the plastic finishing solution: the sticky greasy residue unpleasant to touch and difficult to wash off. The external mirrors are difficult to adjust. There were several customers whose trucks or renting locations were mismatched: it appears to be the function of the poorly designed website.

charging $25 for a nominal amount of dirt in the truck is almost comical.

I was charged a convenience fee for have returned the vehicle after hours. I was not informed by the representative (Jonathan) about this convenience fee. I had originally informed on the online reservation that I would keep the vehicle for four hours. But after getting at the store, I informed Jonathan that I would keep the vehicle for longer, but I would return it in less than 24 hours. Jonathan did NOT say absolutely anything about these policies on returning the vehicle after hours. And because of that, I was charged an extra $20.00. I am VERY disappointed. I've called U-Haul to complain about it. I spoke to a representative, and she said that someone from the store would contact the latest by the end of the day yesterday, but so far nobody from that store have contacted me.

The computer system in the location does not work properly. It mistakenly charge my insurance coverage of $28 even though denied the coverage during online booking and pick-up.

They were not very friendly when I first got there, I had a difficult time understanding the whole gas process, when I got back they were very helpful and able to credit where the confusion was. The end experience was great!

When I arrived they didn’t have my van and the owner didn’t seemed to really care. Thankfully a van was returned while I stood around waiting. No apology from the owner. When I returned the van the sign says where to stop and to wait with the vehicle until someone from UHaul meets you to check the vehicle in. After waiting several minutes I went inside only to find the owner sitting behind the desk playing with his phone. Again, no apology. When I asked for a final printed receipt he acted as though it was an inconvenience because he had to go check the mileage on the van first. We rent UHaul equipment 2-3 times each year and I have never had this bad of an experience. It may be a further distance but do yourself a favor and go to a different UHaul location.

Cab stunk of cigarettes, the rest smelled like an open toilet. The employee who gave me the keys did a walk through and showed me existing damage to the front bumper to confirm it was pre existing. When I returned the truck to another employee he stopped me in the parking lot and questioned me about the damage.

The truck was quite old and almost didn't start once. It seems to me that a truck with nearly 100,000 miles is not appropriate.
